The island of misfit /r/collapse posts

What's this now?

/r/collapse_wilds is a transparency subreddit. All posts that are removed from /r/collapse are automatically posted here by a bot. You can see the bot's source code here.

Why does stuff get removed from /r/collapse?

Broadly speaking, only content that is unrelated to the collapse of society is removed from /r/collapse. Occasionally we remove content that violates our other rules or reddit's content policy.

What do the numbers in brackets in the post title mean?

Those numbers are the posts reddit 'score' at the time of removal. It used to be possible to see upvotes and downvotes separately, but that isn't a thing anymore.

Why was this post removed?

If you want to see why a particular post was removed, click the link here in /r/collapse_wilds to its comment section. You should see a link flair describing the reason the post was removed. If you don't, please message the mods so we can address it.

What do I do if I don't think something should have been removed?

You can always message the mods on /r/collapse and we'll discuss it.
