Has anyone found a way to hack this ever since they removed this option. I check in //flags and nothing there either. There's now an extension but it's asking for a $20. Curious wtf is going on that they are removing essential privacy measures.

Just letting making this post to index it in Google. If you find this post you aren't the only one. This is how to fix it:

Open Chrome's Settings > System > Toggle 'Use Graphics Acceleration When Available' Off to fix.

As of when this post was made Chrome is fully updated and so are my Graphic's Drivers, so its definitely a bug.

I have big issue: Randomly, my chrome pages stop loading and all pages I open are infinite loading and never stop loading,
I try firefox and internet works fine, it's only chrome, and when I close chrome and reopen, I have the same issue (and all my pinned tab are lost and return about:blank ... another issue ),

The only solution is restarting my PC, but I work with many software I can't just restart my PC and lost all my unsaved work,

Hey At my workplace we have shared window os profiles. This means that the google chrome profiles are shared across all the computers at the workplace. How can i set a password on my google chrome profile to prevent everyone at my workplace to access my profile ?

I changed the theme image on my chrome homepage tonight and now when i type in my search bar the words are highlighted the entire time. it's really annoying and makes it difficult to see what I'm typing. It used to just be white as I was typing. Additionally, it now highlights the tab names as my cursor hovers over a tab. I don't understand why all this changed. I've attached images of what the highlighting. Is there a way to put it back to normal?

hi, recently chrome has been actig strange and hasnt been letting me upload any files to any website or download any file. when i click the upload files button on any site it just makes my cursor load for a millisecond then does NOTHING. same thing happens when i try to download something too. and if i just spam click the button it just makes a windows sound. ive tried everything, resetting my chrome settings, clearing cache, updating or reinstalling chrome, ect!!! its been PISSING me off and i dont know how to fix it... i am currently on windows 10 version 22h2 if you need it.

So the brighter white screen on google is very hard on my eyes and im looking for an extension thats free and very good I have one. Darkmode from grephy but its awful in docs. I have a charge in my checking from PP Google Google for $62.19. I called my bank to inquire about it and I was told that there was another charge in 4/7/2024 for a $1.00 and it was reversed. I reached out to paypal they could not see the $1. transaction and they could not see $62.19 because it's pending. I’m trying to use Chrome-Vox for a student who is visually impaired, but I cannot understand how to customize it so it doesn’t have to read EVERY little thing (ex : keeps discussing display size, something being a min and max of 0-100)? I have turned off verbose sentences, but it still is reading more than necessary. And how do I turn on something so it can read the whole page?

So I'm doing some work-from-home that involves using proprietary web-based software, and this particular software does not have an option to invert colors. Reading white text on black background is much easier on my eyes than the other way around. It runs optimally in chrome, but I use firefox for everything else, so I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me if there's a way to flip the colors JUST in the chrome browser. (I know how to invert colors in the windows settings, but I'd like to be able to leave the rest of the display normal) Thanks

There was an extension on my computer that I didn’t add, and I couldn’t remove it no matter what I tried. I initially found it in chrome, but then I saw it was in all browsers.

It claimed to be an “organization” which had control over every single aspect and couldn’t be removed. I couldn’t even change the settings on the extension.

Today, shortcuts kept appearing and disappearing on my computer, and then I was kicked out of my account. I try and click the sign in button on chrome but it just sits there and doesn’t do anything.

Antivirus scanner says nothing is wrong. What can I do?

There has to be a way to remove this or at least add a confirmation prompt. Last week I went to click on Settings and accidentally clicked this. Boom, I lost all of my windows and the order they were in. I know I can re-open them but this seems like more harm than good.
