When watching Youtube for example on chrome with my bluetooth headphones (different ones, same problem) on my macbook, there is a delay in the sound. Is there any way to fix this? No problems at all in safari fyi.

for the past 2 weeks whenever i visit some trusted websites on my PC, it sometimes redirects me to a site called "monetoad". i have no idea what it is, or what could be causing it. is it a virus/malware? should i be concerned?

There are some pages I like to change how they look to make my workday easier. I go in the devtools and edit some CSS like removing margins and changing flex directions to row.

But I have to repeat these everytime I reload the page. So, I'm looking for an extension which does these changes for me automatically when I load the page.

Buongiorno, vi spiego il mio problema: l'altro giorno ho creato una scorciatoia per un sito web sulla Home screen del mio telefono Android, ma quando la apro mi riporta sempre alla pagina iniziale del sito e non alla "sotto-sezione" da cui l'ho creata. Faccio un esempio:

1. entro sul sito www.cani.it
2. clicco su "croccantini" e finisco su www.cani/croccantini.it
3. premo i tre puntini in alto a destra e faccio "aggiungi alla home screen" e creo la scorciatoia
4. apro la scorciatoia e mi si apre www.cani.it; è normale questa cosa?

i am working for an it company and on of our customers has issues with chrome. chrome on the managed devices would not update. i decided to try and remove the existing chrome installation and then reinstalling it.

when trying to uninstall via control panel i get this:

also tried to delete certain reg keys and folders in %appdata% and %programfiles% that were mentionend in other posts but i still cant uninstall or reinstall chrome :/
does anyone have any advice? i simply try to remove existing chrome from a device.

Is there a way to set a default site view for specific websites individually, instead of only choosing between mobile or desktop in the content settings of the Chrome app?

There’s several sites I use frequently that I really prefer the desktop version with, and some that are far more user friendly with the mobile interface.

I’m wondering if there’s someplace within the settings of the Chrome app on the iPad, or either the iPad settings itself within app-specific settings? Or if my Google account can do that?

I know I can request to change between mobile and desktop on the “ . . . “ Icon, but when opening new tabs, it defaults to the chrome content setting choice and not the site version you were just browsing within.

This has happened a few times before, and just happened again today. This time, I got an ad for a bunch of baby dolls, all looking pretty similar, all girl dolls. I've never searched for anything like that (no kids, not looking at toys or dolls, nothing of that nature) but did take a couple pictures (using X gallery app) of a co-worker's baby girl and texted it to someone using a texting app called Next SMS. Seems weird that I got what seemed to be one of those targeted-looking ads now, with all the baby dolls. Anyone else have this happen?

I use a black color scheme for Chrome since I work many hours on the PC, and it helps prevent my eyes from getting too tired. However, from the angle I view my monitor, distinguishing which tab is open is nearly impossible. This becomes a major problem when I have more than 50 tabs open at work. I need an extension or something that clearly highlights the currently open tab. Any recomendations?

Both PCs have latest version of Chrome but one has Performance Issue Alerts under the "performance setting" and the other one doesn't, how to enable this setting on the other PC?

Not sure if this is an issue with Chrome or my mac, although I haven't had this issue with Safari so I'm assuming it's chrome. The font suddenly changed on every page I open a few weeks ago and didn't change back to normal. Not sure what do do because my font settings in the app are normal? Hey all, basically in a bit of a pickle, my Chromebook keeps crashing and just instantly restarting, I've updated all software, play store and games and apps and it's just absolutely not having any of it, it had got a tiny bit better and now it's just going on one again, any ideas?

Hola, bueno tuve problemas al momento de sacar el limite de fps en cualquier navegador, no se por que cuando lo sacas se bugea el navegador y los fps suben tanto (alcanza hasta 2000 oh 8000 fps) que se congela y se queda ahí.

Every time I search something on Google the page freezes for like 2 or 3 seconds. Every other page works well without any freezing. Anyone knows any solution?

As title says. Chrome fully shuts down when I click enter/open to upload a file from desktop. Is there a fix?

I wanted to check my password to write it, and i only found one unkown saved gmail ( it's a very old gmail of mine) and every password is gone but when i go to gmail and press add new accounts it still autofills the info

I am no longer able to use the Tab button to jump to searching a site when typing it in the address bar. It just keeps skipping down to the next saved site. Is this happening to anyone else? Anyone have a fix?

So I am building a new computer, I want to make sure that I have enough memory. Lately I've been experiencing crashes, probably due to running out of memory, I got around 1000 tabs (yes , I know) - I got (I think 32gb of ram) - how much ram would you recommend for this?

The Tabs Index - reachable by Shift-CMD-A on macOS - is not responding to either up or down arrow anymore. I have to do the clunky thing of dragging the mouse over to the list and click. In addition I can't just start typing search terms: I have to click in the "Search" field first.

These were working until a couple of weeks ago. Did some update to chrome break it?

I honestly have no idea what happened in terms of my company's cybersecurity changes, however, within the last month, I stopped being able to use almost every website with interactive or media content. That includes, YouTube, X, Discord, my banking website among many others. Interestingly, Reddit and Instagram still work for some reason.

In the F12 menu, I always see multiple instances of:

CORS requests may only include credentials for resources where the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header is not a wildcard.

The wild thing is that all of these sites work fine in Edge! What the hell is happening with Chrome? I've read about multiple workarounds for this, including turning off security features and installing suspicious add-ons, but I've got to figure that there's a better solution to this.

Any thoughts?

It seems I can't default Chrome's theme to light mode if Windows theme setting (default app mode) is on Dark. I tried to go on chrome://flags and disable Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents but some website persist being in dark mode.

Is there no other way?

Chrome uses ~ 200 MB of internet in under one hour when I'm googling stuff and opening random websites (not youtube of course). I can't afford that because I'm working on a limited internet plan. Is there any solution ?

Dark Reader works well but it slows down my browser a lot, especially when switching between tabs. Are there any other alternatives that don't have as big of a performance impact?

I've never seen this before. What is this?
