Hello people.

I'm looking for advice from trainers and serious players regarding training routine.

Let's divide it into 3 different activities; playing games, doing puzzles and practicing openings.

What among the following examples would you prefer.

1. Do only 1 activity per day and plan your week accordingly.

For example, Monday openings, Tuesday games, etc.

2. Do 2 out of 3 activities every day.

For example, Monday openings and puzzles, Tuesday puzzles and games, etc.

3. Do all 3 every day and plan your day accordingly. Honestly, this doesn't seem very sustainable for a very long time and on a consistent bases to me.

Would really appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Since it is happening at Kolkata, can I visit the event as a spectator? Would I require passes and if so, where I can get that?

Arjun now has a live rating of 2798.3 while Gukesh is rated 2796.4. There is only one Indian player till date who has crossed 2800 - that is Vishy Anand. Will Gukesh and Arjun become the new additions to the prestigious list - possibly in the event? Let us know in the comments.

My suggestion is to create a challenge for Kramnik, like he does for other players to prove that they are actually not cheating. But instead make it such that Kramnik has to prove he is any good at identifying cheaters. He will be provided with a series of 10K games of which 1% of the games include some engine moves.

Using his “statistical” methods he has to identify the games which involves cheating, if he’s unable to do so and identify the games with a +/- 5% accuracy, he loses all credibility to make accusations. Which can be forever used against him, if he disagrees to do so, then he again has no credibility. If he succeeds then he may be on to something.

Thoughts on this? I think such a method will ensure that people like Danya don’t have to undergo unnecessary mental strain from baseless accusations from the likes of people like Kramnik.
