I recently moved to Chattanooga and was wondering if anyone knew places near UTC library where I can park for free? I have realized that paying for parking is the norm but I just wanted to see if there were any hidden gems out there

I know our river water should be considered questionable on a good day, but with all that’s coming down from the floods, are others concerned? Don’t forget that the city’s drinking water comes from the river after it’s been treated with chlorine. There’s no process I know of for our water that treats for dangerous chemicals and dissolved pharmaceuticals.

Also even though most people aren’t swimming in the lake or river this late in the year, what about all the raw sewage that could be in the water?

Are all these things so heavily diluted that it doesn’t really matter?

Hey guys just wanted to remind y'all that the Green Eyes Festival is today (Saturday) in Chickamauga! Tried my first pho spot in Chattanooga the other day, Kim’s Kitchen off of 153. Anyone else tried it, or have any other recommendations for pho joints?

I hope y'all are doing well (or at least better than me). My last post was about getting rid of roaches in my apartment, and this post is about getting rid of the apartment because of roaches. The management has tried various remedies, but the problem still persists.

I floated the idea of changing units, across buildings, and requested either some moving help, or concession in rent to cover the costs. I was told, politely, to go pound sand. I have documentation, over months, of roaches in my apartment and them trying various different fixes. It will cost around 3 months rent to break the lease, and hell will have to freeze before I pay that. There is also no way on earth I am staying in my unit much longer.

Given the posture of (some in) the management, an amiable exit seems unlikely. At this point, there is already a potential of contaminated belongings. What would you, o kind people of reddit, suggest I do next?

Im 18 and need to lower my mile time quite a lot down from 12 minutes pace to 9 or 8 minutes place for boot camp in 120 days. I go to the gym in north ridge and run/walk but would like to know if there is any good parks to run. Any help would be great!

Overflow from an event. I literally don't have the gas to bring it to the shelter downtown, if they even want it. It's at least a few days old now. Probably good for another 2 weeks. Sealed in 10 buns or so per bag, I have Patty buns and hot dog buns. About 20 bags in total Make me an offer, $5 minimum.
