What is up with Channel 9 posting so many positive Trump videos on their Facebook feed these past few days? They appear to be masquerading as news items, but they look more like puff pieces attempting to put lipstick on a pig.

I have a 5yo mutt that had to have her right CCL repaired early this year (equivalent of an ACL repair in a human). The vet that did it told me that statistically it was very likely that her left one would fail within a year. Well that prophecy came true last week and she has torn the left CCL now. It's a very expensive surgery ($3200 was what I last paid) and the vet that did it has since retired I was told. They recommended VCSG downtown and they have quoted me $6K for the same surgery. Needless to say I am now shopping around. Wondering if anyone has had this done on their dog locally and could make a recommendation.

For reference, HWY 58 animal hospital did the first surgery, and can no longer do it. I won't use Riverview AH, and VCSG has priced themselves out of my market. Otherwise I'm all ears and appreciate any leads or recommendations.

does anyone know why i walked outside this morning and saw a single $1 bill left on my front porch? it was placed in a crevice so it wouldn’t blow away so i know someone left it there on purpose. is this some sort of marking or tracking scheme or is it genuinely just someone leaving a $1 on a lot of peoples houses?

I'm doing my first yard sale this weekend, and for those who've done them before in this area, what kinds of stuff sold the best, and what do you wish you never bothered with putting out?

Basically all of my furniture can go, and my mom collected a lot of little statues and knickknacks and such. She also left me way too many coffee mugs. She also had some framed artworks that I don't think are worth too much. It just feels weird throwing them away.

And on that last point, what can I do with the stuff that doesn't sell? I'm more interested in getting rid of stuff than making money, so donation is a viable option.
