went inside a highly populated indian desi server to kill my time before sleep. I wasn't there before, its my first time in an Active VC indian server. The racism and discrimination i got from north indians was insane. they were making fun of my accent, language and culture. called me "idli, vada, abbo, kalue" . for a moment i felt like i don't belong there. i felt i don't even belong to the term "indian".

what we tamils did not contribute to this country ? we gave Ramanujam , we have APJ abdul kalams , CV raman, ISRO sivan to this country (aren't they all tamils?) and we have no respect at all.

i changed my mind to identify myself as tamil. i didn't even care about the foreign racists in discord . but my own people (north indians) being racist towards me broke my heart, they were using all kinds of harsh words and totally disrespectful to all south indians.

I'm sorry , if this is the case for majority of north indians. i can't help you guys when you face the same thing in south. if this is the case in 2024, i will identify myself as "south indian (or) Tamil " . whenever i go outside the country. i don't even want to call myself indian if this is how you guys treat me.

Is not because they act uncivilized, it'sbecause "bwnchaw, mene itna struggle Kiya, 6 mahine visa ka wait kiya india se bahar ane ke liye. And mereko ye indian yaha pr bhi dikh rhe hai" (the other guy had same efforts put into this)

These people just think that they're better than everyone else because they think that apparently only best people or "uncivilized people" with generational wealth go to foreign.

When a NRI complaints about seeing an indian acting "uncivilized" in west. It's hus jealous ass that can't comprehend the fact that people can just travel in between the countries.

It is very worrying that fertility rates are declining globally.. because the rates in India (while still declining) are well above those for other countries. It seems like in maybe 30 years.. Indians are going to s huge demographic everywhere! Wow.
