Feeling guilty after smoking

So I am 26M a non smoker and a very occasional drinker that too after 2-3 months and all and at that time also I prefer 1-2 pint beer or a 30ml whiskey. I have smoked here and there once in a while but have never been addicted to it. Rather I hate it. Just now 30 minutes ago don't know what hit me in head and out of some personal stress I went out bought 2 gold flake cigarettes and smoked it. Now I am feeling super guilty about it.

I know how bad it is for health. Smoked these 2 cigs after almost 4-6 months after I last smoked 1 cigarette. Everyone knows out there that I am a non-smoker but don't know what I felt and smoked it..

Feeling so so low and guilty about that I did it. Don't know why... even I am getting negative thoughts that can these 2 cigarettes can cause me bad health or no..

Please help me get out of this guilt guys.. it's eating my head and causing anxiety..

Will never smoke this shit again... it's so bad really.

Rant over.

Help needed. Koi madad kr do bhai

Does anyone have some contacts with doctors of AIIMS PATNA. I have some problems that needed surgeries.

I have lumbar slip disc (herniated disc) for the last three years, recently diagnosed with appendicitis, severe ear infection, cervical spondylitis. Any one of these diseases is not a problem but all of them together is causing a lot of pain.

I have decided to have surgery for my lumbar slip disc but we don't have finances for it. That is why I am going to AIIMS PATNA.

But many people told me that you have to have some connections there to get things work.

I request to any one of you that if you have some contacts with staffs or doctors of AIIMS than please help me.

Truly wondering if someone that fits this whole post description exists?

Hi, so first off I am a white guy non binary in the u.s 23 years old. So im truly wondering is there any brown girls or Indian girls in this world right now, who are autistic, adhd, neurodivergent? Must be autistic, adhd and neurodivergent. who have these likes and dislikes.

likes: emotional soft guys, lgbt, video gaming, staying indoors, being a homebody, co dependency, 2 people really liking each other and want to spend every day together just maybe rarely taking breaks but if we’re the same won’t need any cause only differences make it challenging.

Dislikes: toxic masculinity, toxic positivity, toxic productivity, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, anti white racism, racism, “self love”, dumb guru love quotes, for example: “love yourself first”, “You can’t love someone else if you don’t love yourself” which isn’t true for me and a lot of people. Dislikes: “joking” meaning “it’s just jokes” I’m super sensitive and don’t desire to be around that.

dislikes: every single thing I listed, Desires: wants a boyfriend and is desperate for true meaningful love does not care if they still live with parents cause that’s ableistic if someone would cause everyone is different does not body shame, wants a sweet emotional guy co dependent not a “face” but who they are inside and similar to them but still finds them physically attractive and cute, not a “protector” or “strong masculine man” but a emotional soft, co dependent non binary guy.

Sick boomers of village, not generalizing!

I have returned to my village after years. I went to a nearby small market with my younger cousin sister. While we were walking around, we unintentionally went into a neighborhood, but we stayed on the main road. Sadly, many people, including uncles, boys and shopkeepers, stared at us shamelessly. Then, something awful happened. Three older men, around 60 years old, shouted at us. They asked my sister whose daughter she was and asked me whose son I was. I quickly asked my sister if she knew them, but she didn't. They kept calling us, but we ignored them to avoid trouble, especially because my sister was with me. Moral policing on the way, it was! It's sad that girls can't feel safe going out in places like this, even with their brothers, let alone with male friends.

I don't tolerate this kind of behavior, but I've dealt with it before by staying calm. However, I worry that if it keeps happening, I might lose my temper and face legal consequences. We really need to educate people better.

Why North East India (7 sisters) don't get as much attention as the rest of the states?

I am from Delhi, I've visited the 7 sisters and I feel they are very underrated, the ppl there are more then friendly, they would consider anyone as their own family, they also have civic sense which lacks in the ppl of Delhi, UP, Haryana, etc.. they know how to keep their state clean and green, basically it is a heaven, Nagaland has even banned the use of plastic, the roads are new and constructed recently, but I dunno why it lacks from the main image of India perceived by the West and ppl of india itself, I can see Assam rising only now but I think we should popularise the place as a good tourist spots so as to increase the per capita and it would tremendously help in improving the image of India

Electric toothbrush question.

Hello, was thinking of buying the Agaro or the Caresmith toothbrushes under 800 bucks for a first time user. If someone's using them, can you give your expert opinion on getting one of these?

What do you think about these political and historical similarities between India and Israel?

As someone who is interested in post modern history, I noticed these interesting aspects in both India and Israel's post modern history that I found to be very similar, and I thought I'd post some of them here:

  • Both countries declared independence from British colonial rule as a result of a partition process at nearly the exact same time (India declared independence on the 15^(th) of August 1947, Israel declared independence on the 14^(th) of May 1948, basically a 9-month difference).
  • Both countries saw a mass influx of refugees following their declaration of independence.
    • Following the partition of British India into 2 separate countries (India and Pakistan) a mass migration event took place between the two countries, with approximately 7 million Hindus fleeing Pakistan and seeking refuge in India.
    • Similarly, following Israel’s declaration of independence, a mass migration event took place with approximately 900,000 Jews either fleeing or being expelled from the muslim world and seeking refuge in Israel.
  • Both countries almost immediately fought a war right after declaring independence: India was involved in the 1947 Indo-Pakistani war with Pakistan, while Israel was involved in the 1948 Arab-Israeli war with various Arab states (Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq).
    • Both wars also ended in 1949 just 2 months apart from one another (the 1947 Indo-Pakistani war ended in January 1949, while the 1948 Arab-Israeli war ended in March 1949).
  • Both countries fought 3 major wars with their neighbour/s at nearly the exact same time:
    • 1947 Indo-Pakistani war and 1948 Arab-Israeli war
    • 1965 Indo-Pakistani war and 1967 6-day war
    • 1971 Indo-Pakistani war and 1973 Yom Kippur war
  • Both countries won all 3 of these wars.
  • Both countries first prime ministers came to power at nearly the same time (15^(th) August 1947 for Nehru, 14^(th) May 1948 for Ben-Gurion) and both of them left office permanently at nearly the same time (27^(th) May 1964 when Nehru passed away, 26^(th) June 1963 for Ben-Gurion).
  • Both countries have so far had one female prime minister, both of whom came to power at very similar times (Indira Gandhi came to power in 1966, Golda Meir came to power in 1969).
  • Both countries were governed by the same political parties for the first 3 decades of their existence, with both political parties also having ties to socialism and socialist policies.
    • India was governed by the INC (Indian National Congress party) from India’s independence in 1947 through to 1977, with the INC being a socialist political party that introduced socialist policies and adhered to the ideology of Nehruvian socialism.
    • Israel was governed by the Labor party (and its previous incarnation Mapai) from Israel’s independence in 1948 through to 1977, and could be described as a socialist political party due to its ideology of Labor Zionism.
  • Both countries have historically had a large muslim minority population, with Muslims being the largest minority group in each country. Even today, both countries have a very similar muslim population as a percentage of the total population (14.6% for India, 18% for Israel).
  • Both countries sought to possess nuclear weapons and conducted their first nuclear test in the latter half of the 20th century because of the threat that hostile neighbouring countries posed to their existence.

Its interesting, because I would never have thought that either of these 2 countries would have had much in common, with Israel being an Abrahamic country and India being a Dharmic country. Yet despite this, there appears to be alot of interesting similarities between the 2 countries in terms of their creation, the wars they fought and the ideologies they followed. What are your thoughts on this?

even during the covid crisis and during the war in Ukraine and Gaza, our inflation rates haven't been as bad as under the UPA era.

The first VB sleeper should be on Mumbai-Bengaluru route!!!

They are planning to run first VB on Delhi-Mumbai or Delhi-Kolkata routes.

But it should ideally run on Mumbai to Bengaluru route.

Both the former routes already have quite a few premium trains on them. But the latter one does not. Mumbai-Bengaluru route is prolly the most underserved in the entire IR network.

But both MH and KA politicians have no influence in the centre, and they don't care about the connectivity on this route. Its pretty stupid.

Voters, arise!

Student data being sold on a site called Dataware.

A site called dataware sells information of students appearing for various exams like JEE,NEET.etc

It sells data which tells you students'name,his/her father's,mother's name and even the district the student lives.

Do you think our judicial system should have specialisation..

Like lawyers and Judges should have done basics of certain course to fight the case and judge.. like cyber crime , medical services and food sciences. So that they don't get fooled. In America food companies changes some food colouring item because it has cancer causing chemicals. But they replaced it with its chemical cousin.. with identical properties.. How do you think this would affect our country?
