Buttercream and chocolate cake!

Just finished this cake earlier today. I really love how this turned out! I had so much fun making it too!

This is the first cake my husband's made since we got together 8 years ago!! Cake is my all time favorite and he's a very good cook! He doesn't give himself enough credit cuz for a first attempt he knocked it out of the park!

Homemade everything from scratch even the lemon curd! How did he do!?

First time posting here, felt very happy with this one and the taste was amazing! It’s banana bread sponges (4 bananas!), cream cheese and whipped cream filling, brown sugar and cinnamon caramel with cinnamon streusel on top 😋

I am thinking of opening a small business on Etsy selling custom (and pre made) sprinkle mixes, do you guys think that is something other people would be interested in?

I was nervous about this one because there was so much to it that I either haven't done before or don't do often. I think it turned out very well though 😊

I went to France and had the best cake I have ever had in my life, but I only realised whilst trying to find a recipe that I have no idea what it was. Some layers were smoothand creamy, some chocolatey, some nutty and some crunchy. Please help!

Hey everyone! :) Okay so, my fiance's 26th birthday is coming up in February and I want to surprise him with a cute small birthday cake. However, he didn't specify or say which flavour or what kind of cake does he want, so I'm looking for some recommendations and inspiration. I think the easiest option would be to just make a chocolate cake but I wanted it to be a little more special than that, so feel free to comment with any recipes/suggestions/inspiration.

I was planning on making a smaller cake since I only have a 18cm (around 7 inches) cake tin pan. I'm not a professional baker or anything so I can't really do very complicated things but I'm willing to do my best.

I wanted to try and recreate this cake for my 18th birthday because my mom always used to get it for me when I was younger. I’ve never really been a cake eater before, but I always really loved this cake. The problem is that, it literally seems like the cake just fell off the face of the earth. My mom and I moved from Buffalo, NY to TX, and I haven’t had the cake since. From what I know, they stopped selling it in Buffalo’s Walmarts and they definitely don’t sell it in Texas. I feel like when i mention to my family members, no one but my mom really remembers and she’s tried to help me find it, but we’ve had no luck. They were sold in full cakes and singular slices, the icing was always white, and each color(red/yellow, blue/purple) tasted slightly different. Does anybody remember this cake at all?😭
