I made a bottle cap turtle

I tried this, I saw a real on Instagram (or a short on YouTube, I can't seem to remember) but when I searched who did it first I did not find the original creator to give them credit :(

I freehanded the lil guy, and he's a little too tight around the cap, so some holes are showing underneath. I'll do better next time ! :)

Trigger Finger

Anyone else develop trigger finger from crocheting like a maniac? How long does it take to heal? Surgery required?

Pansy pattern

Guys! I made a thing from my brain!! I’m pretty new at crochet so sorry if it doesn’t make super much sense.

As a note: I reeeaalllyyyyy recommend using stitch markers to mark four front loop only and one back loop only on the base circle. The petals are based on these loops and made separately. Also, all the ends. Ends for days. But it looks great so 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll post a picture in a comment.

Pansy pattern

Start with magic circle, R1: 5 sc in magic circle, slip-stitch into first stitch R2: sc increase in front loop only of one stitch, tie off (I recommend using stitch markers to identify the next four loops and the single back loop)

Petals part one: in first color Petal one: in single back loop only, (sc, 2ch, 2dc, sc, 2dc slip)

Petal two: in next front loop, ( sc, ch 2, 3dc, 2ch, sc )

Petal three: in next front loop,( ch 2, 5 dc, ch 2, slst in base Stich ) Petal four: in next front loop, (ch 2, 5dc, ch 2, slst in base stitch ) petal five: in final front loop, (sc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, sc, slst in base stitch )

Petals part two: in second petal color

Petal one: R1: slst into base of 2ch, sc in 2ch space, (2dc) in next stitch, (2dc) in next 3 stitches, sc in next stitch, (2dc) in next four stitches, sc in 2ch space , turn R2: ch 1, sc in next 10st to center point, ch 1, slst into center, ch 1, sc to end, slst in last stitch, tie off

Petal two: R1: Hook into base of petal two, in 2ch space- (3dc), (2dc), 1dc, (2dc), (3dc) in 2ch space, slst in base of 2ch, turn R2: ch 1, sc in each stitch to end, slst end

Petal three: R1: Hook in base of 2ch space, 4dc in 2ch space, dc, (2tc), tc, (2tc), dc, 4dc in 2ch space R2: ch 1, sc in each stitch to end, slst end

Petal four: repeat petal three R1: Hook in base of 2ch space, 4dc in 2ch space, dc, (2tc), tc, (2tc), dc, 4dc in 2ch space R2: ch 1, sc in each stitch to end, slst end

Petal five: exactly like petal two R1: Hook into base of petal two, in 2ch space- (3dc), (2dc), 1dc, (2dc), (3dc) in 2ch space, slst in base of 2ch, turn R2: ch 1, sc in each stitch to end, slst end

Using the ends, stitch the petals in place. 10/10 would recommend having a picture of a Pansy up for reference

Weave in ends and celebrate the cool flower you just made!
