Hi, i have not been getting rewards for 2 months now. And before that, the payouts never arrived. Please Help me. Also, my phone bats disappeared

So i had more or less 26 BATS on my android phone. I always tried sending the money to my wallet. I have my twitch and twitter account linked and verified. But brave never made the transaction. It said it would be done once the account was verified, which it is. So now i have 11 BATS and all of the others disappeared leaving no trail. I received no email about it, i tried contacting and they arent answering. HELP

I don't know if Brave uses a different spell check engine or something but never had issues with Chrome. Now I get reports of issues all the time where there is none and no help on words that should easily be known.

I have not been able to get a solution on the Brave community forum regarding the javascript problems I have having.

I have my global Brave Shield settings set to NOT block scripts. And on websites that tell me to enable Javascript, I set Shields Down for the site. But still I get the error message saying "Please enable Javascript in your browser." This happens on multiple sites.

If I can't find a solution to this I'll probably have to leave Brave. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Has anyone else gotten this? Gamebox tabs just pop up almost entirely randomly, when I start up the app. Is this some sort of funding source for brave? Do they have a deal with gamebox? Is there any way I can stop it? It's certainly not a huge problem but I would like to stop it.

There is now message when it closes. It just exit like I clicked the X. I need to tell you that; I copied and pasted the default user data from another (chrome based) browser to brave's default user data. I'm mostly happy with the result. I got to move all my important data this way. I really don't want to completely reset it. I just want to deal with the problem directly. Which probably means fixing/replacing the specific broken user data file(s)/folder(s). I'm just not sure if this is the problem. And if it is I don't know which file(s)/folder(s) are broken.

I have a lot of trouble trying to download images off shutterstock. It'll just sit there and spin. Thanks!

Any open source project is a political act. That I see and understand.

I recently discovered Brave and like the principles upon which it is founded but find the supportive comments in posts by some THIRD PARTIES to make me question its long term viability and my own use of the software.

I have only read a handful of articles and posts over the last few days. They have all given me good reasons to continue using the browser.

However, in at least two of the posts I've seen comments that justify support for the project on the basis of right wing politics or alt right politics.

I feel sorry for the project because this is something that could destroy the project's viability.

Have the project's sponsors addressed the issue of alt right or populist right support in any way? I get that that would be a can of worms they wouldn't want to open unless they absolutely have to.

Also, does anyone know if Brave has policies in place to ensure that they are not transferring funds to sites that engage in illegal, anti social or deceptive behavior?

I must confess that I am reevaluating my use of the browser after coming across those posts.

Normally I don't run into that kind of language except in unmoderated comments sections or in the stranger sections of Reddit.

This makes me leery of recommending the software. And, TBH, makes me suspicious of even using the software.

A project like this can only succeed if there is a critical mass of users.

If the alt right gets involved you risk alienating well over half of the American population and an even larger percentage of the international population. And, if money is flowing to some of the more radical alt right sites there's a good chance the project would be breaking the law in many jurisdictions.

Now, I do suspect that these alt/radical right comments are not at all reflective of the project and are just a by product of its success. I haven't seen any hints that the project itself is trying to cultivate a relationship with partisan or extremist politics but it would be nice to know if they are doing anything to counter this support before I contemplate giving this project a positive review or continue using the software.

I hope the devs don't take all my issues as shit talk. I just want the best for this project.

This only happens when I first open the browser. After I go to gmail.com manually once, I can use my bookmark without issue. This has only been a problem with the newest version of Brave.

i remember i finally found them before but now i forgot again because the interface just sucks and is the most unintuitive piece of crap imaginable took me hours before to find out how to find them and now i just spent over an hour again trying to find them but this time i can't figure it out please make this garbage browser more intuitive so that there is a big button that say show download folder for TORRENTS jesus christ this shouldn't be rocket science here , just make your shit intuitive so that normal fucking people can use it without wasting hours searching for answers

So I've had Brave for about a year now. I just bought a new laptop, went to the Brave site to download and it installed a newer version of Brave. How do I log into my Brave account? It made a new wallet for me and everything, but I want it attached to my old account.

Love the project - I see this as a success and jumped on board a couple of months ago after facebook/youtube/twitter started deplatforming right wing media personalities (alex jones).

On the AMA here a day ago the dev was talking about reaching out to twitch streamers for adopt the platform... If I may, I would suggest, a great early adopter ecosystem would be crypto news sites/blogs and their readers. I used to pay USD via credit card monthly for a subscription to hacked.com - that would be a great use case, they must drop a good chunk in transaction fees every week, and so do I, having to pay an international transaction feed.

Brave won't open, it launches and appears in the task bar and then it closes. I don't know what caused it, I don't remember anything going wrong the last time it ran normally.

I need my tabs, tho, so I'm wondering where it puts tabs/sessions and how do I restore them after I reinstall Brave (I guess just put them in the same folder, right?).

Does anyone know if they are close to a solution on getting the extension to Dashlane to work with the current version of Brave? It has worked for me in the past but I just downloaded Brave on my work computer and it doesn't seem to connect to the extension and just opens an empty page. See this example https://community.brave.com/t/dashlane-extension-does-not-work-opens-an-empty-tab-when-trying-to-auth/18666 from a bug report that is now closed (not me but same bug).

There may be a work around that I'm not aware of but any feedback would be great, thanks!

Have been a long term (relatively speaking in crypto) investor and holder of BAT, and having come from an online marketing background, I have always been a huge fan and believer of the project. Recently, I created my first crypto website and have signed up as a publisher.

As a publisher, I have an even bigger incentive to spread the love, as well as getting rewarded for referring people to Brave. I have referred around 20 installs in just the last 24 hours. I am sure many publishers have the same mindset, and all this will go a long way towards increasing adoption of the Brave browser :)

Hi guys, the Brave referral website said that each referral would be worth USD $5 of tokens. I have 14 people referred for over 30 days and my current value is only $7.14 worth of tokens. What is going on? Is anyone else having the same problem?

I use brave (together with other browsers) on various devices and I noticed that on iOS (iPhone) it is possible to set private browsing as the default mode (also that browser has real tabs), whereas in Android I can't find this setting for default private mode. Does anyone know how to set this up?

Or in test mode?
