I been searching in settings, web sites, and other reddit post and i dont found an answer or maybe use other voices in the same language the only voices i can use are microsoft voices on my native language (spanish) in my country

From reactions to different posts and discussions on reddit, I have noticed that a majority of people have massive hatred for Brave, just because it's based on chromium (though they officially declared manifest v3 won't affect them). Though Brave provides a similar (sometimes even better, like randomised fingerprinting) level of privacy, still these are not appreciated by ff users. Why?

• I'm using Brave for years, even used Firefox and Edge. Brave and edge (mainly in pc) is unbeatable (if a good working browser environment is my priority).

For example, by default it downloads to "C:\Users\Honkmaster\Downloads". But if I open Brave on another machine, that directory may not exist.

So I'd rather use something like "%UserProfile%\Downloads" which will always point to the Downloads folder of the current Windows user. But Brave uses an "OpenFolderDialog" popup for you to choose a download location from Settings, so I can't just enter a string of text like that.

Is there a plaintext config file somewhere that I can edit manually? (or some other way to achieve this?)

It is November '24, I am suddenly unable to sign into youtube from brave(days ago i was always auto signed in and actually, I've never had to click a sign in button on the youtube page, ever until now)

I opened chrome and i'm already signed in! When I click youtube's red sign in button on BRAVE.....i am REdirected to a page that shows a stack of TV's! the page address is youtube.com/oops Hovering over the tvs it reads, "sorry, something went wrong. our tubes must be clogged" wth?
I AM signed in to my google account in Brave and I can easily access gmail, google voice.
Why is it that I am able to like and leave comments on Youtube in Chrome but not in Brave?

In Brave settings i have youtube added to accept 3rd party cookies, i have shields down and i have turned off ALL my extensions. What the heck is going on here Brave and why am I always running into issues with you? I thought i had solved all my major concerns, youtube was working until now.
What do I need to do here?
Like i say, I AM signed into my google account so why is youtube asking for a sign in that seems to be separate from my google account?

Tried everything. Youtube’s video would just stop playing instantly when I click play.

Let's say, for example, I would like to stay logged in on other sites with the exception of something like Dropbox or my bank's web site.

I want to go back to the way where i click on address bar and can edit the url without going to extract step of clicking the new edit button

Seems like most reviews/tests have Chrome signifcantly faster than Brave on Windows.

i am from germany and for a long time i wasn't able to use brave rewards, cause none of the shown wallets (Uphold and Gemini) will provide service for germany.
Recently i saw a third option that was calles something like "self management" and if i understand it correct that was a way to use another wallet as Uphold or Gemini but i cant find that option anymore..... did i hallucinate or do this option exist somewhere?

I have so many important bookmarks, browsing history, all my profiles with passwords and etc. As I know you cannot make a profile that stores all that data, so is there a chance to transfer everything to my "new" PC?

Did anybody facing an issue where many times while trying to visit some websites brave browser gives me an error: ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR -> Interesting is that on FF its working. Im not sure if its a coincidence or... My DNS service Provider is ControlD i dont use local resolver from BRAVE

Brave contains some features that may be undesirable for many people. I looked for ways to manually disable as much as I could, especially on Android (where screen space is at a premium), since the overflow menu takes up more than the entire height of my phone's display. This is what I found.

Brave Wallet

This disables the "Wallet" option in the overflow menu, and the "Brave Wallet" item in the Settings screen.

1. Navigate to the hidden Flags page: chrome://flags/#native-brave-wallet
2. Switch "Enable Brave Wallet" to "Disabled"

Leo, Brave AI Chat

This disables the "Leo" option in the overflow menu, and the "Leo" item in the Settings screen.

I've bought a new windows laptop and i've just installed brave there. i wanna make it so that i'm using the exact same browser with all the profiles and everything. I tried copying the user data folder from my old laptop (also windows) to my new one but it didn't work.

I turned off all extensions for a website where I'm attempting to login, and it still won't move past "Log in now" after I fill everything out. I was wondering if there's an easy way to debug why or which setting needs to be turned off?

Whenever I try to open any yt video brom brave Android browser to yt rvx app it show 'error unknown url scheme'

But I can open the same link in yt rvx app from chrome or kiwi browser. Also 'open in external app' feature is on for brave

Hey folks, there's one feature of Brave that's infuriating me so much that made me stop using the app before and seriously will probably make me do again if I don't find a way to stop it.

I use the app whilst on the train and mobile signal comes and go. Sometimes because of that Brave is trying to be helpful and downloads automatically an offline version of the page and shows it when signal is flaky.

However, this is incredibly infuriating when it comes to downloading news pages and every time I'm browsing an offline version of the page I'm confused up to the point I notice it's old news. To make matters worse, there's no time to live on the download, so I'm looking at months old news all the time.

I've tried all different types of deleting site data, preventing downloads without asking, etc. I went through every single menu in settings and even disabled auto downloads in a flag in about:config. Nothing disables this annoying behaviour.

Is there anything I can try? Why is this so hard? This seems like a feature no one asked for and I definitely could see many people complaining about it before and no clear solution was proposed.

Brave displaying website abnormally

Does anyone have any idea why brave displays website like this? The website background turns light blue, text and information aren't visible unless I highlighted them with my mouse (as in the picture). I thought it was probably caused by some certain extensions like Dark Mode and Night Mode, so I completely removed these extensions entirely but problem still occurs. I've also tried reset settings and reinstalled Brave but couldn't solve.

However, opening the same link in a private window (ctrl + shift + N) managed to display the website normally without this issue. Anyone having the same experience? How can it be fixed since its kinda frustrating.

for some reason, youtube videos just wait like 30 seconds before they even play.
And I mean I click on the video, and it takes 30 seconds or more to play.
youtube tells me "Experiencing interruptions? Find out why."
but I have no clue why and what's even more weird, and why I post here, it seems to only be like that on Brave not Opera or Chrome.
Any ideas?
