Can get flame off of blow mold candle

I just canā€™t get it to pop off. I donā€™t want to break the bulb but itā€™s stuck on there. Any tips! Its matching pair seemed to have a notch to help but not this one. Just pry it off?

storing blow molds help!

I'm packing away my vintage halloween blow molds right now and was wondering... do you leave the lightbulb/cord in? Or do you take it out when packing everything away until next season? Not sure if it makes a difference either way and just wanted to make sure. Want to preserve the ones I have. Thanks so much!

Has anyone used resin to fill cracks from the inside of the blown mold?

Hello everyone, I have a skelton with top hat Blowmold. And it is very brittle on the front. I'm trying to figure out a way to save it. And while I know a lot of people use the plastic beads and heat them up to make patches for missing pieces I am wondering if patching on the outside to seal the holes and then pouring resin in the bottom inside to create a layer on the front of the blown mold from the inside wood harden and permanently bond itself to the blow mold thus stopping the brittle pieces from breaking off. I know it would make it heavier on the front half because the layer would have to be somewhat thick but it would be clear so the light would still go through. Any other recommendations would be helpful Thank you.

Best place to buy new blow molds

This is my first year decorating outside for Christmas and I would like to decorate primarily with blow molds. What is the best brand/store to buy new/modern blow molds? I donā€™t like how Home Depotā€™s use batteries and Loweā€™s and Walmarts are too short. Looking for 36-40 inches tall with plug in lights.

Weatherproofing Spray?

Hi all!!

Next Christmas, my momā€™s dream is to pull out her entire blow mold collection, and put them on display throughout the property. 90% of her blow-molds has sat in storage as they are her prized collection.

From now till Christmas 2025, our goal is to fill the blow molds with sand, and spray them to help with sun-fade and maybe even a little protective layer from any nicks and scratches.

So, what all have yā€™all found to be worth the time to spray on your beloveds? Pls, recommendations only of products tried and true. šŸŽ…šŸŽ„

TYIA!!
