1. Don't be a jerk

Remember the human behind the users you interact with. Do not engage in bigotry of any kind, personal insults, bad-faith discussions, and provocative or unnecessarily hostile language. Do not argue about identity politics, all identities are welcome here. Invalidating trans people on r/bi_irl is not okay.

The title of your post must start with the word "bi", end with "irl", and have a single, non-alphanumeric character in between them. Just like the name of the subreddit. See the full rules for examples.

Post things that are a) related to bisexual in nature and b) relatable to other people. This includes memes and /r/hmmm style images. Posts that are just a picture of a bisexual person, of two people you happen to think are attractive, of the bi flag colors, unedited selfies, or similar will be removed.

Off-topic posts are allowed on Fridays.

Please avoid reposting anything from the top 25 posts of all time or that have been recently or commonly posted.

Posts that are deemed explicit will be removed.

Don't post or discuss things that you know will spark a political arguments in the comments.

LGBTQ+ related issues will not be applied under this rule, because of their status as human rights issues and their relevance to this community.
