Do not purchase nicotine over 100mg/ml or "Pure" nicotine. Anything over 48mg/ml (4.8%) should be handled with protective gear, and anything over 100mg/ml (10%) by professionals. Pure nicotine is 1000mg/ml and incredibly deadly.

Is it possible to put new cotton wool into old burned out disposable coils?

I just want to confirm that it can't be done before I bother trying.

New Luxe XR MAX - leaking excess juice into mouth (MTL - 0.6ohm / MTL Pod).

Long time vaper, and recently switched from a mod to a pod device.

I've used it daily for 2 months, but I find I'm having to swing the mouthpiece into a tissue every 5 inhales, and I can see a 5-10mm of juice pooled in the tissue.

I normally like a loose draw, but I've varied the vent from closed to open, and it makes little difference.

Is this because the GTX 0.6ohm coil (20-26w - 24w default) is more of an RDL coil, and for MTL I should switch to 0.8 ohm or even 1.2 ohm instead?

I've been an MTL vaper for 10 years and my goto wattage has always been 25-30w on my tanks.

I'm not sure if the higher resistance would give me the same vapour exhale, or if it would even resolve the excess juice issue.

I haven't tried the included 0.4 ohm coil (26-32W) as yet as I gathered excess juice would be even worse due to the limited airflow going through the coil (as a result of MTL). These coils are designed for a higher air flow rate that you naturally get with DTL / RDL vaping styles. But as much as I've tried DTL / RDL several times over the years, I always find myself going back to what's natural after 15yrs of casual ciggies - MTL.

Do Pharmacies actually stock liquid? (Melbourne)

I know you can get liquid in the 3 flavours without prescription now, however do many pharmacies actually stock it in real stores? Somewhere in Eastland perhaps?

Stupidly came over from UK and forgot to bring liquid for my refillable

All on 4 implants and vaping

Is there anyone who vapes who's had All on 4 implants? Or any dentists who vape and can give advice? I'm trying to find out whether I can vape during the recovery process without causing problems. I had a tooth removed a month ago and was told not to vape for 48 hours as it can lead to dry socket. I vaped pretty well straight after the extraction without closing my lips completely around the vape and had no issues. With All on 4 implants being a much more invasive procedure, I'm guessing I won't even feel like vaping straight after the procedure, but I'll definitely want to vape not too long after it. Does anyone know the best way of handling this?

iQOS 2.4P: Issues with pen not charging

Hey vapers!

I have an iQOS 2.4P, and for some reason the pen doesn't want to charge, and I get a red blinking light on the charging device. I've tried so many fixes from resetting the device to disassembly of the device and cleaning. Anyone fixed any of these issues before?

Cheers!

Wattage advice

I stocked up like mad pre ban and bought a couple of mods and RTA to have when my pod device died. Have never used either before. I’ve managed to set up my B3 and I’ll be using it with Geekvape M100. MTL. I am a bit confused with wattage and was wondering if anyone could advise me what I should start with. I’m reading anywhere from 7-20. The included coils with the B3 are 0.74ohm. I don’t understand wattage at all so if anyone has any links to pages that could explain it to me I’d also appreciate those. Thanks!

My device broke today. Can anyone please help?

Hey guys, does anyone know if any of the online pharmacies sell the GeekVape B60 Aegis Boost 2? Mine broke today, and I’ve already bought hundreds of dollars worth of coils specifically meant for that device :( I’ve already checked Quit Hero and Pharmacy World but no luck. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Nicotine Help

Never stocked up, have run out. In the same boat as a lot of others if I purchase the simply five salts off QuitHero can I water it down with my PG and VG? It says it’s 28mg/ml Nicotine base 50mg/ml Salts 30ml bottle. If I want to vape my usual 9-10mg how much should I dilute it? It should make it go a lot further. I used to make up 100ml and that would last two and a half weeks or so.

To make it easier if I add 30ml of 50/50 PG VG that’s watered it down roughly by three times to 9.3mg strength of Nic?

Thanks brains trust.

Geekvape L200 tank leaking from the bottom of the glass?

Hello. I'm really going through it with my tank lately. It's a pain in the ass and I really miss just being able to go down to the vape shop and ask them for some help. Anyway, I have a brand new tank. I broke the OG tank that came with my mod, trying to change the coil about two weeks ago. The base wouldn't come off, I heard a crack, juice was everywhere, so I just said 'fuck it' and grabbed the tank that i bought pre-ban and popped it on my mod. I've had the brand new tank on my mod for about 2 and a half weeks. And there's been a few problems, it seems that the tank isn't the same as my old one. But thats a whole other can of worms.

The last few days, I've noticed little droplets of juice on the base of the tank and the leather part of my mod feels sticky. I've been wiping it off and trying not to worry about it, but I feel like I'm going through a bottle of juice a lot quicker cause of it leaking. This morning, I noticed it was spitting little bits of juice when I hit it. I'm not too worried about that, because it tastes good and I've noticed it does spit a bit right after I fill it up anyway, but I haven't filled it recently and it's still spitting. I'm really kinda worried about the fact that it might ruin my mod cause I don't have a back up, this is my only tank and mod.

I'm using Z 0.2 coils - 70-80W and I have it on 63W currently, someone told me a while ago to put the wattage down to try and keep your coil good for longer. Not sure how true this is, was wondering if this issue is because I'm not vaping at the correct wattage for the coil. I'm using Vapure 5mg menthol mint (if it matters it's 50VG/50PG). I also don't lay my vape down, i try to keep it up right as much as possible. I did read something once that if your vape is leaking, it might help to put a little bit of pressure on the top of tank, wait until a click is heard and it should fix the problem. If the fix was that simple it'd be great cause I'm not overly confident taking my vape apart and putting it back together, but if i have to, I will.

Any suggestions on what I can do?

TLDR: my new tank is leaking and I don't know what do. Just want to enjoy my vape without having sticky hands. Also, clearly a chronic over sharer.

$7.70 prescription rate for Vape Juice?

So I have a DVA gold card and generally a doctor is able to get all of my medication issued at the rpbs rate of $7.70

Doesn't matter what it is if I ask the doctor for a prescription for it, even stuff that is generally over the counter pharmacy medication. He'll write me a prescription for it so I can get the $7.70 rate.

$13 box of Mylanta? Nah, here's a prescription, $7.70

Got a splinter in my hand? Rather than pay $24.99 for a tub of Magnoplasm, here's a script, it's now $7.70

Now that you require a medical prescription in order to get Vape juice, does this mean that my doctor should be able to write this as a $7.70 prescription?

My doctor has no idea as this was the first he'd heard that vaping was now prescription medication, He looked it up in his computer and managed to find the listings and managed to give me a prescription that I could take to pharmacy World, which was all good, But we ran out of time in the appointment for him to ring DVA and get the discounted rate.

Has anyone been able to successfully do this?

Are Vapes Medication?

So I was having this discussion the other day on a DVA group, as my doctor has no idea, so have me a script for it and will look into how to get me DVA Gold Card Rates for it.

The script he gave me said "Prescription for Pharmaceutical Medication" on it.

However, a lot of people seem to be of the opinion that "Vapes are Not Medication, the government just classifies them as Medication"

I mean...to me, if it walks like a duck...quacks like a duck...it's probably not a horse....

Moving soon to Australia

Hi everybody ! So i will move to Australia soon for 1 year but i’m very worried about the vape ban… I’m actually in France and my vape is a vaperzcloud empire BF with a reload S RDA and this thing drinks a lot of juice (about 10ml a day), so i was wondering about how many ml can I bring with me without having any problems at the airport ? Also I make a lot of DIY in France for obviously economic reasons, can you guys still make some DIY here ?

I love this community…

But you really need to stop acting like everyone here speaks for all vapers/smokers. There are roughly 28,000 people who have subbed here, which sounds like a lot!

The national percentage of daily smokers in Australia is 8.8% as of 2022 according to Quit Victoria (the first Google result I found ngl). This means that if you take the Melbourne population of 5.207 million people, there are 52,070 daily smokers and vapers right there. Do you think that half the smoking population of Melbourne are in these threads? What about the rest of Australia?

It might be fun to think that we are the voice of reason and know all things, but please try to keep some perspective here.

Is the illegality of Black Market vapes a factor for some Australian vapers?

When people come here asking about Disposables, I usually respond by appealing to their rational side such directing them to information like: https://i.imgur.com/OxqRc1P.mp4

I'm not so confident that this is the best way anymore.

I was chatting with a distant cousin today whilst vaping after lunch.

He was vaping his black market disposable. I was vaping my XROS Pro.

He asks to try mine. He tries it, and nods in approval.

He asks me where I got it. I told him Pharmacy World.

Then he asks; "what, so you bought it legally?

I replied "yeh"

And his response was "ppphhfff", and hands it back.

I changed the subject right there & didn't return to the topic of vapes. I admit it kind of felt somewhat dismissive, and I was a little taken back by it. I wasn't sure how to respond.

How pervasive is this attitude? Is it even real or just an attempt to hide the fact that (for some people) buying legal vapes is too complicated & its better to dismiss legal vapes rather than admit they need help accessing them?

A vape store in Sydney? How does that work?

Hey Folks,

I live in Melbourne and was helping a mate with the legal online folks and my mate stumbled across an online store in Sydney (which also claims to have a shop front ?!), is that legit or is that an old site/ maybe a scam?

Cheers,

Can I fly domestically with a vape?

I have Geekvape L200. The last time I flew was prior to the ban, just wanting to know if I can still fly with it? Do I also need to take it apart?
Last time, I took the batteries out, I drained the tank and took the tank off the mod and put them in separate zip lock bags. However my partner didn't take his apart and just took the batteries out and it just leaked a little, so unsure whether I should or shouldn't. Thanks!

Does vcpharmacy sell liquids with no nic?

I know about the stock shortages for different vendors and stuff so I wonder if vcpharmacy has ever sold liquids with no nicotine in them? PWA has no nic liquids but their shipping is so expensive and they don't have the device i want. I am trying to get off nicotine but I enjoy vaping.

just wonder whether to wait or suck it up and order 5mg.

Advice for Spikers

I've seen multiple posts over the past few months asking about what to do now that 0mg flavoured ejuice is no longer available.

Those asking had always used the Spike Method: https://i.imgur.com/xnluPAa.png

I think we should be advising them to consider making up a 0mg/mL Nimbus mix.

Before Nimbus closed down, they released all their professional recipes.

Here are all their recipes: https://imgur.com/a/I1AAJhl

(The recipes are for 10mL, so just multiply their volumes by 10).

If those asking about 0mg flavoured ejuice still have 100mg/mL nicotine stock, they can then use the Spike Method as they did before.

Running Out - Dispos or Cigarettes

Trying my gosh darn hardest to stay afloat, prescription coils from tabuu, prescription mint (with added flavouring) just absolutely falling apart mixing is ruining my coils and tasting god awful.

Managed to nab two bottles of old stock from an undisclosed online retailer.

But the shipping times alone. My only options right now are dispo or cigarettes and I hate the smell of cigarettes so…dispo it is

I fucking hate this, I’m a 28 year old woman, I shouldn’t have to resort to harming myself because of pathetic bureaucracy.

Help? I guess?

Email from VCHEM just now

Dear patients,

I hope this email finds you well.

We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding VChem. Due to recent vaping legislation in New South Wales, vaping products must now be handed directly to customers unless accompanied by a valid prescription. As a result, we regret to inform you that VChem online store will temporarily unavailable until we secure a licensed medical doctor / prescriber to provide prescriptions.

We are actively sourcing a qualified doctor who can prescribe vaping products for patients, enabling compliance with legal requirements and ensuring seamless shipping from NSW.

If you know of any doctors who may be suitable or interested in collaborating with us, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share their contact details with us. Our email address is info@vchem.com.au. Your recommendations and support are invaluable as we work toward resuming operations and serving our customers effectively.

Once we have secured the right prescribing doctor, we will promptly re-open the website and continue operations as usual.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and assistance. Should you have any questions, suggestions, or potential connections, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours Sincerely,

Fuel gauge.

Why don't any vapes have a sensor that tells when there is not enough liquid in your tank? I realise there are some challenges to this but the right kind of sensor can surely figure it out? Or do some vapes have this and I'm just clueless?
