Hey everyone,
I first need to thank everyone that's supported me, and giving your words of encouragement on my last post.
If you missed it, I created a feedback form: https://forms.gle/W2yEEJB1n4vmAFcn8
You all have given me almost 400 RESPONSES. Once I'm back home from Christmas vacay, I'll post a video on all this on my socials. IG - reaxionmedia TikTok - creating new profile.
I want to take this time introduce myself, what my goals are, why I'm doing this, what's the mission of the festival, where I am in the process, and what the road ahead looks like.
Who am I: I'm Kenneth, 36M, DJ name RE-AXION (reaction) and I've been raving for over a decade. Been to EDC Orlando 2013 - 2021, EDC Vegas 2024, Ultra 2015, Sunset Music Festival 2013-2014, and many smaller shows mixed into all that. Born and raised in FL, moved to GA with my wife in 2022.
Why am I doing this: In the last several years, we've all seen the decline of festivals. Where it's less about the experience, and more about the money. Where we're no longer viewed as individuals, but numbers on a spreadsheet. Extra ticket tiers just to get a shorter line to the bathroom. Where we're paying the same for less, and more for the same. Where corporations have quietly infiltrated what we love.
In the last 9 years, we've lost a lot of festivals. some of the major ones being Tomorrowworld, IMF, and Ezoo. All 3 due to mismanagement, no contingencies, and greed. Now Georgia is left with nothing.
How do I plan to correct this: A festival in name, but a celebration in reality. Where we all come together in our love of bass, electronic beats, and community. A festival that is built for the culture, by the culture. Where you have your say in this. Where your voices aren't only heard, but listened to. Where safety and security are taken seriously. Where your individualism shines, but you find your home in this community.
Festivals mission: As some of you may have gathered from the questions I asked, there is a focus on sustainability. Where we all take responsibility in the footprints we leave behind. Solar powered lights, drastically reducing single use items, and reintroducing this world that is so fragile, to all of us.
Where up and coming DJ's get their time to shine, as much as the headliners. Where a new lineup model is introduced, ensuring they receive the recognition they deserve.
Where we take back the music, introduce the rave babies to PLUR, and remind those of us that have forgotten it.
Festival specifics: Name - TBA once trademarks and domains are locked down. Date - ?/2026. Attendee's - 1,000. Days - 1. Stages - 1. Importance of this is to start small.
Where am I in the process right now: Tentative date is selected, 11 DJ's have tentatively agreed, currently narrowing down a venue.
Logistics, tentatively in place once venue selected.
Next goals: Grant submissions, investor and sponsor pitches, crowdfunding options.
What else: Do I have experience putting on festivals? No. Do I have connections in the festival industry? Yes. Are they in my corner? Yes.
How can you help me: Share my feedback form with others. There have already been people that have given their negative opinions, and outlooks, based on assumptions, and 0 information. These are the people that believe the current festival scene is fine as is. They will do nothing but try and stand in the way. Ignore them. You know what we're building. Keep an eye out for my updates as I move forward.
Do you have experience, or know someone who does? DM me. Are you a local DJ? DM me. I want you on the lineup. Do you want to volunteer, or help in some other way? DM me.
In order to avoid giving money to corporations like Live Nation, Ticketmaster, etc., I want the venue to be held on private property. I'm also doing this because of Georgia's gun laws, that have made it illegal to prevent the carrying of firearms on public property. This can be circumvented on private property. As I said previously, safety and security of all is one of my highest priorities. I also wouldn't be able to get event insurance. If you have, or know someone who has a sizeable amount of property in the ATL metropolitan area, and you, or think that person would be willing to host the festival, DM me.
Lastly, this will be a long road that is expensive, a road that will be riddled with challenges, and setbacks. I won't be able to do this without you. So spread this far and wide.
Tell your friends what we're building together.
Hello, what are your plans for the weekend?
Hey hey! New to the scene. Anything exciting on New Years Eve or anything you could recommend?? Thanks!!
Hey everyone! I’m Ken, a 36-year-old raver who’s been immersed in the EDM scene for over a decade. Due to the holes that have been left by IMF, and Tomorrowworld, I’m starting an EDM festival in Georgia. I'll also be righting their wrongs; but I don’t want to do it alone. Your input will help shape a festival that truly represents our community—not just one person’s vision.
I’ve created a feedback form. This is where you have your voice. Tell me what you want, what you miss, what’s been wrong, and what should be focused on.
If you’d like to help beyond filling it out, sharing it with others is one of the best ways to ensure I hear from as many voices as possible.
All responses are anonymous—no emails or personal info needed. Thanks for being a part of this process!

EDIT I am reading every piece of feedback, and I see recurring complaints and things you wished there was more of.
Probably the best set of the night 💥
Post what you did this weekend, what shows you hit, and anything else you want to share!
What night 💥💥
dm me if interested!!!
I’ve been rebuilding my visual collection and tools from scratch for 13 months. Starting to play gigs again for the first time in 12-13 years back when I lived in Indianapolis. Had about 6 now since Hulaween, ran renagades stuff at Hula.
If anyone has any shows or house parties coming up, I’d love to play out a bit more. I can do projection mapping, LEDs (no pixel mapper), and mapping installation work. I have 3 solid 5k+ ansi lumen projectors among others and am pretty wide open after 12/22.
I usually stream my free flow, look building sessions on twitch/x. I like all kinds of music, but especially bass music, liquid dnb, disco house, lofi.
Would love to connect with other artists in the area and start to get to know the production scene here and make some cool shit together.
Cheers,
-SageGuy

Hello, what are your plans for the weekend?
Anyone else attending this @ district Atlanta? I’ll be going solo but love to meet up with people who are also going(:
I saw him at iii points and absolutely loved his set so I’m excited to see him again
I’m a baby raver and I don’t have a car so I’m looking to meet some people and make new friends that are planning on going to resonate! I will obviously provide gas money. I went this year and that was my first experience with edm and all these different genres now that I’ve gone to plenty raves and a couple more tests I’d love to come back. Females preferred as I’m female, hmu I’m chill :))
😁
Heyoo your friendly casual death popping in to remind you of our debut of RIDDIM NETWORK in ATL this Dec 21. I have been putting a lottttt of work into this alongside Iris and Seaview talent agency and am happy to announce all proceeds will be benefiting Make-A-Wish foundation of GA.
Super stoked to be part of something positive and give back to the community while at a full blown riddim show🤘🏻we will have MAW ambassadors to help with donations and questions and upstairs at Believe they will be hosting toy+food drive for the community.
We have put together a super stacked line up and this will be my last show of 2024 so I am bringing back the b3b special with KRONIIK and EXILLE for anyone who missed it at the subtronics after party.
Look forward to seeing you guys 🖤🤘🏻
In town for a conference for the night and looking for recs for a small group of coworkers.
Appreciate the help!

Hello, what are your plans for the weekend?
This is a long shot so sorry. I bought 2 tickets to this show and now the guy can’t come. I don’t care about the other ticket, but I personally still want to go. So I was wondering who else was going to this since it’s in Duluth and not really Atlanta lol I’m a millennial female so not sure about doing it alone but thought I’d ask here. Thanks!
This post isn’t meant to shade any of the great venues we already have—I love spots like The Eastern and the Roxy. They’ve brought us amazing shows!
That said, most major cities have a venue that’s the go-to for electronic music—a place that’s not just a venue but a staple of the scene. NY has Mirage, Chicago has Radius, Austin has Concourse Project, Miami has Space, and DC has Echostage.
I wish Atlanta had a venue like that—one we could truly be proud of as an EDM hub. To be clear, I know we have places like District and Believe, but let’s be honest, they’re just not on the same level as those other venues.
Our current venues are fantastic, but they aren’t strictly dedicated to electronic music. They’re versatile spaces that host EDM events, which is great, but it’s not quite the same as having a venue built for the culture.
Also, PSA: I miss Ravine so much. Which was probably the closest we’ve got to something like this.
Well damn... guess I can't miss this one. See yall there
dont miss it he's an up and coming producer from the dmv. dave tipper snuck to see crawdad's renegade set at his festival in florida.
