Make fun of art history.

Make fun of people who make fun of art history.

Statement of Purpose

This sub is a place to laugh at the art world. Mock the pretension of the elite or the naivete of the newly indoctrinated or the cynicism of outsiders or simply give r/circlejerk posts an art history twist.

Guidelines for Posting and Commenting

  • Include sources for everything you post. Circlejerking is more interesting when people know what they're jerking about.
  • Mark your serious comments with /unjerk. Often with art criticism, it's hard to tell when someone's being serious.
  • For the same reason: if you must submit a serious link, put [SERIOUS] in the title.

Either going into consulting or marketing after I graduate from the Ivy Leagues...

Which field of art history should I specialize in? Something that demonstrates my creative thinking skills to employers, but not too creative because that would be threatening.

I'm a first year so I have plenty of time to decide!!!
