Rules:

/r/arizonapolitics/about/rules

Do not use downvotes for disagreement. Use your words or the report function. We are here to learn and discuss, not to reinforce our preconceived notions. See: https://old.reddit.com/wiki/reddiquette

  1. On-topic. Posts must be related to Arizona politics.
  2. Title must accurately describe link contents without excessive editorialization. Generally, titles should be taken from the article, and/or a quote from the article.
  3. Links Must be to Quality and Original Content. Submitted articles should be worth reading, and contain proof/citations for their claims. Don’t submit stub articles, stolen or rehosted content, or obnoxious websites. Associated Press reports on another website are fine. No URL shorteners.
  4. Text-Posts Must Be Good-Faith Discussion Attempts. Do not submit links as text posts. No URL shorteners. Please refrain from soapboxing, or asking either loaded or rhetorical questions.
  5. Be Civil and Make an Effort. Comment as if you were having a face-to-face conversation with the other users. Additionally, memes, trolling, or low-effort content will be removed at the moderator’s discretion. Comments don’t have to be worthy of /r/depthhub, but s---posts are verboten. Address the arguments, not the person. The subject of your sentence should be "the evidence" or "this source" or some other noun directly related to the topic of conversation.
  6. No Hate Speech or Abusive Language. Slurs, hate speech, abusive language, excessively foul language especially when directed towards other people, etc.. If you’re angry, channel that into political activism, not hateful invective.
  7. Please cite your claims as much as possible. Comments may be removed until citations are provided. Address the citations, not the person. The onus of providing evidence is on the person making the claim.
