A subreddit for discussing ideas and tactics to curb the spread of hate/fascism.
This is a subreddit dedicated to fighting the spread of fascism and to eliminating racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism. We seek to:
- Educate on the dangers of bigotry and the existence of organized hate groups
- Discuss strategies for curbing hate and ignorance, as well as actions to support our communities and fellow people
- Keep an eye on hate groups online and off
- Provide a relatively safe-space for people of all backgrounds to contribute.
RULES
Please be aware that by posting, you are expected to be at least somewhat aware of basic Social Justice concepts. You can catch up here. Willful ignorance of these concepts will result in a warning, or in severe cases an immediate ban.
This sub is a safe space. Hate speech, bigoted slurs, or calls for violence/harassment are forbidden here, and in severe cases may result in a ban. It is recognized that safe space moderation can stifle some well-intentioned discussion, hence /r/antira2 is available with community moderation.
Any attempt at trolling or inciting other users will be met with an immediate ban.
Usernames containing bigoted slurs will be given an immediate ban.
This sub is meant to focus on strategies and constructive discussion, not debating basic concepts or sub rules. Please take all such discussion to /r/antira2.

An excellent resource for white people who want to become better allies
To any white people who are seeking a space where they can work on unlearning their unconscious biases, here is a link to join a bimonthly discussion group dedicated to that purpose. White people cannot expect BIPOC to educate them about racism. The point of the group is to provide white people with a separate space to do the learning and reflecting that is necessary so they are better prepared to step into multi-racial spaces as allies. The group meets every other Wednesday at 7pm EST.
