I’m not proud to admit this, but I was cheating on chess. I’d play with chess in the morning before work but then play checkers at work, and I’d meet up at the bar after work for backgammon before going home and making love to chess. Every night and day I was cheating on chess and it got so out of control, I went from board games to card games and I couldn’t even get erect with chess anymore.

But after hearing about the miracles of Garry Chessparov and Chess 2.0 (release date pending), I decided to stay faithful to chess and don’t play any other games with anyone else.

En passant is forced. You must play it. However, unlike some other rules where you may forfeit the match for breaking a rule, the punishment for breaking the rule is a brick to the pipi. Some people take the pipi gambit in order to gain advantage, but it is breaking the rule. Kind of like the hack-a-shaq, take the foul because it happens to work in your favor.

hello guys I am a beginner and I always loved chess and was just wondering What is the maximum rating can I reach cuz I feel like grandmasters are gifted after that hardworking come like human calculators and that kinda makes me doesn't want to do effort on it so what is your opinion about that

Did anyone else see the new game Passant on steam? Apparently it's a Balatro but for chess. Finally after centuries, chess 2.0 has been released. The most notable feature for me is that they have turned chess into a rogue-like where when you lose the match, you have to restart. I'm honestly tired of chess match wins giving advantage against future opponents with no resets.
