Hey guys, just wondering if any pubs will be putting the Elimination Finals today on their screen in Melbourne?

With the AFL there are two big card companies and you can get cards easily and quite cheep at any AFL store you go to along with places like 7/11. Is there something similar with the A-League? Even if it isn't that cheap I want to start to get into card collecting. Ideally I'd want to be able to go to a physical store to buy them instead of just online, brings me more back to when I was younger collecting AFL cards. If so, what are/is the main company that does A-League cards if there even is one that makes them seasonally anymore.

Good to see the club is getting in and truly finishing the mini estadio Tarneit, hopefully they also make the walkways around the temp stands non gravel haha, the gravel makes it look bleak

So next season we're looking at a minimum of 21 clubs in the top two tiers and a max of 26.

I'd love to see them come together as a League Cup with a group stage first, not straight knockouts. Anywhere from three to six groups, which would also give each club an extra three to six matches minimum per season. An even spread of tiers in each group.

James Johnson has spoken about closing the gap between tiers. This cup would be an easy and effective way of measuring how clubs are progressing.

Scheduling is interesting. Does it run in the first half of the calendar year or the latter? Maybe it could be held at the conclusion of the Australian Championship season (springtime)? Make their season a little longer instead of having midweek matches?

Sounds like fun to me.

This is gonna sound like a really dumb question and im probably missing something here but why is the league 27 games long. 12 teams. 11x2 - 22 game home and away. What’s the reason behind the other random 5 games?
