Who wins?
After watching the adl-bri game tonight I got thinking, if all 10 coaches were released into a fighting pit with nothing but their bare hands, who comes out on top? As an Adelaide man, I'd have to back Kurz, but Muscat could prove difficult. Popa would be my dark horse.
To make it more interesting, what about if they could choose one of their players to fight alongside them? Aloisi + Papadopolous, Muscat + Broxham, the possibilities are vast.
Submit a-league copypastas below, and they become official folklore like a spawning salmon.
NEWCASTLE POLITICIAN RANT
i'm sorry that you're angry buddy, but do you attend any newcastle games, are you a member of the club, does your office contribute to the funding of the newcastle jets in any way or form, such as training facilities? or are just another bandwagon fan who will only attend games when newcastle are winning? politicians shouldnt be involved with sport unless they are true fans.
SYRIAN INVESTIGATION
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match.
We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.
OFFICIALLY CLUBLESS
Been a fan and a member of Sydney FC since 2005. As of last night I officially became clubless. A club which endorses cheating goes against everything I stand for. Pathetic attempt by Sydney FC and Michael Zullo in particular last night.
A-LEAGUE ALL-TIME RANT
You know what? Fuck this league. I don't care about anything that goes on here, because nothing goes on here. You tried to make refereeing more fair and instead made a hollow league. Your mission statement is founded on a shallow understanding of football. Sure, the original refereeing was a cancer repository, but now it's even worse, where referees are afraid to share their true nature. By trying to .make better refereeing you are mocking the somewhat therapeutic qualities of such a league. Honestly, I only stayed here out of pity, and I don't intend to come back.
/u/PooDiePie meets a cute girl
Hey it's me. It was great meeting you at Cambridge and honestly I haven't stopped thinking about you since I left. I really don't know how to say this properly but I need to get it off my chest. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever met and I really just want to talk about this, let me know okay :/
NO VUCK CONSPIRACY
Contrary to what some of you sore losers believe, I'm fairly confident that Melbourne Victory wasn't apart of some conspiracy with the FFA to rig the game. They went out there and played just as hard and deserved the win just as much as Newcastle. For you muppets that say the championship is "illegitimate" or "tainted", better luck next year lads! 🏆
GUEST RULE
This is potentially massive for the league. The old guest rule was a joke. I wonder who the likes of city, wsw, Sydney and victory can lure now this is in play...
/u/FreeriderAU GIVES HIS THOUGHTS
Only on Twitter can Sydney fans still be this bitter two weeks after their team chokes in the biggest game of their season
PERIOD
This shit needs to stop. It is literally written in black and white in the rules of the game that the winner of the a league is the team that wins the grand final. There is no "yes, but we got more points in the regular season" argument. You win the grand final and you win the a league. Period!
CAPALABA
Seriously @capalaba_fc! I’m not a Redlands supporter but this post is a disgrace. This is poor sportsmanship and shows a complete lack of professionalism. Well done Redlands for staying in the NPL.
FFA CUP THOUGHTS
First off, this makes my day about as much as watching the LNP absolutely fucking implode. Having said that - do we think NPL teams beating HAL teams is a net positive, negative or irrelevant for the league as a whole? Personally I think it's great as it fits into the idea of the FFA Cup - it would be awesome to see an NPL side win it one day, I think - it's pointless if the NPL teams are just making up the numbers. Do these results cause people to lose faith in the cup/league? Does anybody even care? Personally I think had CCM won our match we would have won over some more members, but that's only because of our particular situation.
YOUNG SIR
Young sir. I dont think you realize how much we hate Sydney FC. I would rather Kevin Muscat bang my wife then watch Sydney FC hoist a toilet seat. I would rather Aloisi take a pass at my mother than watch Sydney FC have a parade. I would rather the entire Newcastle team, including that grumpy cunt Ernie Merrick train on my first love then watch Sydney FC at the Final in May. I myself would drag my nuts across a field of of hot Adelaide Clam chowder than watch Sydney FC drop a banner next year saying "Aleague Champions." Truthfully, I would kill you if it meant I could stop Sydney FC from even playing in the A-League and I like you.
Fuck Sydney FC. Fuck Arnold. I hope that entire city burns to the ground.
And dont get me started on that fuck Brillante. His hair looks like I'd need a wedge just to get my ball out of there. That loser POS. Bring back Fat Del Piero, at least with him, there was always the chance he'd die during the fucking game. We haven't beaten the Eagles in like 4 fucking years. Fuck you for asking this question.
Go WSW.
delish quinoa
Hi sharon, delish quinoa last night! Still wish you hadn't shoved it through my foreskin
