I want to buy AirPods Pro 2 but they’re sooo expensive, does anyone know a site where they sell it cheap (that’s available in Belgium). Or should I buy them used? Or should I just buy it from Apple?
Both AirPods have been in the case the same amount of time, but I noticed that the left one only starts charging when I open up the case to put them in? Anyone know what’s causing it or how to fix it?
I have regular AirPods and have used them for years. In the last few weeks I’ve had soreness inside and downward from my right ear after using them for a while. Soreness goes away about a day after not using the AirPods. Admittedly, I’ve been negligent about cleaning them regularly, but I did clean them with Clorox Wipes the other day and still had the ear soreness after using them yesterday. Any recommendations?? Again this is with regular AirPods, NOT the Pro ones
I just bought air pods pros second gen and i cannot find the setting to disable the noises made from the case. Ive tried searching in the settings and looking it up and i cant find the setting anywhere
i lost my left airpod and can’t anywhere to get a new one, and cannot find it. it’s dead and the tracking is for some reason tracking my right airpod and not the lost one.
Are AirPods Max a good investment in 2024 for long term? I have used various noise cancelling headphones in the past and my main use with them will be mostly movies for Dolby atmos, listening to music at home when convenient and travelling. Will the new AirPods Max have big upgrades that will make me regret my purchase or should I be fine? I don't really care too much about type c or better sound quality
Yesterday I went to use my AirPods and they were completely dead. They'd been in the case all night and the case still had 50% or more battery life when I put them in to charge.
I had the case plugged in for hours at work yesterday, more than enough time for it to be fully charged. I opened the case this morning and the case and AirPods are both completely dead.
The orange/green light doesn't come on when I open the case and there's not even enough life left in it for my phone to recognize it.
It seems to charge just fine while plugged in, but as soon as I unplug it, there's nothing, so it's definitely an issue with holding a charge.
I bought them almost exactly a year ago (April 27 2023). They're my first pair. Are the batteries just really that bad or is there something wrong here?
Due to various problems with mental health I rely heavily on music to get me through the day and I work in an office setting so, while I can, I don't like playing music out loud out of respect for my coworkers.
I'm not exactly in a position to buy another pair or upgrade to a newer model, so any help, tips, advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
I don’t mind stepping outside the apple ecosystem. And I don’t mind ANC and features. I know apple supports only AAC codec.
Anyone else unable to see battery percentage of the case on the Home Screen battery widget? It shows up when connected to my friends phone… (iOS 17.4.1)
I don’t know if it’s just because I have Apple Music - rather than buying it like I did before - but so many songs sound so much different than they did before these AirPods. Like the vocals are SO CLEAR.
One of my favourite songs I always listened to back in like September - December 2022 completely changed. It almost sounds like it’s remastered, it’s crazy good.
I contacted Apple Support the other day, they said they couldn't go through with the free replacement program because they were manufactured after October 2020, today it's exactly three years since I bought them (26/04/2021). They told me it would cost 291.20€ to replace them, I honestly can't comprehend how not only they can't just admit that they had problems in production, but also how they can ask that much for a replacement with a straight face when a pair of 2nd gen AirPods Pro is 240€. I tried buying foam tips since I read somewhere that changing them might make the fit tighter both in the ear and in the socket, but they still crackle. It's a shame that for probably their best product they offer subpar support.
Is it me or do the wired EarPods I got with my iPhone 6s (10 years ago?) sound better than my 1st Gen AirPods Pro?
Lost and found AirPods 2
Best pic I could possibly take attached. I tried water, rubbing alcohol, wipes, a toothbrush, but there is still a grey clog covering the middle of the AirPod which I believe is causing the noise cancelling and transparency modes to make an extremely loud noise when I try to use them Help me please
So for my experience with my airpods have been great. By far the biggest plus that I like about these is that they just work and sound good imo. My biggest con is that the mics just love to break on me. I have has 1 airpods pro 1st gen and 2 2nd gen's and they have all at some point just have a broken mic on one or the other, ruining the transparency and noisecancellation.
Any good alternative that I should look into?
The thing is, I took them to the Apple Store and they verified the serial number on the box and on the case and they advised me that the AirPods are legit. When you open the case, it’s supposed to have a pop-up on your iPhone to connect. Well they don’t. When I went to the Bluetooth list the only Bluetooth that shows on the list is one called TWS. When I click on those, the “AirPods” connect.
When i take off the airpods out of the case itself this bleeping sound comes out of the case like 4 times. What is this kind of signal and how do i turn it off? Using airpods pro 2 i guess?
Any time any bass plays, or I speak loudly, my left AirPod has an annoying scrunch or crackling sound. Does anyone know how to fix this? It’s driving me insane
Edit: They are AirPod pros fyi
fully charged case and earbuds = good mood for the rest of the day
Help, the glue let loose. What should I do?
I’ve had these gen 2’s replaced several times with AppleCare because after a few months the mic completely stops working. I never get them wet, or drop them. I am extremely confused why this keeps happening.
Does anyone else have this issue? I am beginning to wonder if the moisture from wearing them all day in my ears is damaging the microphone but I can’t believe these things are that delicate. At a complete loss and now my AppleCare has runout, hesitant to buy another pair.
So I lost one of my left AirPod in my room somewhere and I completely demolished my room looking for it. It’s been three months and I still haven’t found it and I’m tired of having to use wired earbuds when I want music in both of my ears, so I was going to order a replacement directly from Apple. I’ve heard that replacements don’t work or don’t pair, so could I maybe get some advice on what to do? I’ve done a ton of research but wanted to consult people directly on Reddit before I go ahead with the purchase. Thanks!
All of a sudden today my left AirPod wouldn’t connect. I did everything I knew to do, I cleaned out the case, leaned the AirPod itself, turned Bluetooth off and on, even turned my phone off and on. Had my phone (iPhone 13, up to date on software) forget them and now I can’t re-pair them at all. I open the case next to the phone and it blinks white and I get no prompt on my phone to pair them. Extremely frustrating and I live 3 hours from the nearest Apple Store so I’m kind of stuck.
I'm interested in the spatial audio stuff but i've heard that the 3Gs dont fit a lot of ppl. I tried my mom's 2Gs and they fit great. I'm getting airpods since i dont like the earplug style earbuds that almost every other brand has.
So, I eventually gave in and upgraded to the AirPods Pro 2 from 1, and wow, the sound difference, the call quality (mic), volume control and battery life is well worth it!
Honestly, I could tell the sound quality difference the second I put it in - deeper, richer.
Had a call, and much less of a sense the other person was struggling to hear me (but that could just be a placebo), although often with my AirPods I get a lot of little "sorry?" "the sound's not great etc." - this wasn't the case so far with v2.
Having volume control is SUPER nice - it's just a little thing that changes your control over your experience.
Plus, new earbuds with new batter + another 30% on top means I'm getting wayyyyy more time between charges.
Excited to check out adaptive transparency once outside. But so far in the first few hours - great investment.
All the little things that make a big difference.
Anyone else feel like this with their upgrade?
Roughly one year ago, at work, I found a stray Airpod Pro, the left one. And very recently I found another one, and this was a right one. Are these useless as is, or can I get a charging case and claim them as my own? Are they locked since they are part of the Find My network?
I use my AirPods to listen to music on my way to class and the keep disconnecting while I’m walking there. They don’t do it if I’m sitting still, staying in the same place. At first I thought it was Spotify not getting good service and the music pausing because of that, but no the Bluetooth is disconnecting from my phone. I always keep them charged so it not because the battery is low. The AirPods are just the regular AirPods and they’re probably around 2 1/2 years old. Any help would be appreciated
Hello,
I wanna buy airpods pro 2s, I'm from Armenia so Apple doesn't deliver here.
The 2 options I have are:
Official Apple Premium Reseller: ~370usd (around 50% overpay from original store price)
Other trusted stores: ~250usd (suspicious because it's somehow cheaper than the apple price before taxes
Do you guys think it's worth the 50% overpay to be sure its the original ones or can I check whether the other resellers are legit
I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas
Thanks!
