Hi I have the AirPods Pro 2 and when I wear them there’s no issue but when they are already in my ear and I push it in abit more it makes like a beeping noise. Especially on the left side. This never used to happen it’s really weird please help me
I ordered Apple Airpod Pro 2’s on Amazon, I currently have the Beat Fit Pro’s. I tried both many times one after the other, and could never notice a difference in sound quality.
Am I crazy ? Am I going deaf? Does anyone have both and notice a huge change with the Airpod Pro 2’s over the Beat Fit Pro’s?
i have basic airpods, the past couple days i realised that when u listen to music on Spotify if the volumes under 60-70% it’s basically muted, no sound at all, also isn’t going as loud at 100% as they were before?? what’s happened
For the past 2 months my AirPods have been randomly disconnecting, and sometimes they won’t reconnect until the next day. But tje past week, especially after the update, they’ve started completely disconnecting, they’re not even discoverable anymore. And on the 1-2 times they were, this would pop up if I tried tir reconnect to them. I’ve tried resetting disconnecting and connecting them, turning my Bluetooth off and on again, turning my phone off and on again, rebooting my phone, rebooting my AirPods and still nothing! They stay connected for like 10-15 minutes and suddenly completely disconnect and become undiscoverable😭 Please tell me someone here has gone through this before and/or knows how to fix it for good🥲🥲🙏
Hello, I have bought recently AirPods and when I move my mouth or when I am walking they are falling out. Someday I might lose them because they might fall off. Does anyone have/had same issue and knows how to fix it?
Hey everyone,
I just bought the AirPods Pro 2 (Type C) from the Apple Store a couple of hours ago and opened the box now. But I’m already running into issues and not sure if this is normal.
Here’s what’s happening:
With Noise Cancellation on, instead of silence, I hear something like white noise or the sound of being at a beach.
In Transparency and Adaptive Mode, there’s a light hissing sound layered on top of the white noise, kind of like being outdoors at night or hearing a light fridge sound.
The Noise Cancellation doesn’t seem to work properly. I can still hear noises around me, just slightly muted or less echoey.
I was so excited to use these, but this is really disappointing. Is this normal behavior, or is there something wrong with mine?
If I need to get them replaced, what should I tell the Apple Store to ensure they understand the issue and agree to a replacement?
Thanks so much for your help!
As some context, my dad has had severe hearing loss for a few years. He has tried a couple hearing aid brands, and hated most of them (he has signs of cognitive decline/dementia and doesn’t do well with technology). When we got him air pods pro a year ago I set them up with his audiologist histogram so they worked as functioning budget hearing aids. He has liked these over all of his hearing aids he’s tried in terms of ease of use and budget.
Recently in October or November 2024 apple announced improved hearing aid functionality in a software update for the AirPods. Over the holiday shopping weekend I helped him find a good deal on his second pair. However , when I set them up, I couldn’t complete the initial setup stage and discovered that Apple has Locked the functionality away because they’ve determined that my dads hearing loss is classified as ‘severe’. Apple AirPods are only rated as hearing assistant devices.
All in all, this is kind of disappointing. I am using the same data set from my dads 2023 hearing test and now the functionality is inaccessible. I haven’t explained it to him yet and he hasn’t figured out that they are worse then before, but I can tell that it’s giving a worse experience for him and my mom who lives with/takes care of him.
Wanted to just vent my frustration but also let others know who may be looking into hearing assistant devices for themselves or others.
TLDR: Airpods stop working when watching YouTube on MacBook Air M1 after a few minutes.
I believe this happened after a software update a few versions back, but no matter what web browser I use after a few minutes of watching a YouTube video the audio starts to stutter/sound funky then completely cuts out. I have tested this with the airpods 2nd gen and brand new airpods 4th gen.
I have updated my M1, rebooted, unpaired and repaired, done practically everything under the sun I can think of and nothing works. Anyone else experiencing this?
So I just updated to iOS 18, and now when I have a single AirPod in it makes the transparency sound no matter what. Like I don’t need any of the fancy features the AirPods have, I just want to play music (which I can) but they permanently make that weird hushing/static noise. I know it’s not a problem with the AirPods themselves, and I literally noticed this the second after I updated my phone. I’ve tried the “adaptive” setting, and from what I can tell, it’s the exact same as transparent.
i’m looking to buy airpods from a non apple website, i can’t find the official apple model no on the apple website, is the model below the most recent one? its cheaper than the regular apple one which makes me kinda suspicious esp cos black friday is over
APPLE MTJV3ZA/A AIRPODS PRO (2ND GENERATION) WITH MAGSAFE CASE (USB-C) SKUIP187064 Model: MTJV3ZA/A
^^ that’s the info provided on the website, all help is greatly appreciated 🤗🤗
Had them for 2.3 years, apple care just expired. Got the buds replaced twice under it because they suck. First pair completely lost ANC second pair both separated at the glue line.
Just bought new AirPod pro 2s on Black Friday, there amazing and the spatial audio is super cool, but when I turn on head tracking, nothing changes, it just sounds like normal spatial audio, im not sure what I’m doing wrong, when I move my head it doesn’t seem like the audio changes at all. Any advice?
It seems that multiple retailers are lowering the price of the AirPods Pro 2. Is this a Black Friday sale thing or is it a sign that Apple may release the AirPods Pro 3? I was pretty shocked that they didn’t update them this year.
I was cleaning the case and I push too far down causing the contacts to separate on the left side case. I can’t charger my left bud now. Easy to fix, if so how?
Hi, I have a AirPods Pro 2, which I'm using with my Mac and my Android phone

Sometimes when I'm using my mac my airpods will switch the connection to my phone eventhough my phone is idle/off. How can I stop this? For all intents and purposes, I would like my airpods to always be connected to my mac when I'm using it, but I still want them to connect automatically to my phone when my mac is not in use so that's not a setting I want to turn off. If anybody knows how to do this please lmk!
So i have my AirPods about exactly a year now but since two weeks they sound broken, My left AirPods has enormous distorted bass, it kinda sounds like someone is blowing in your mic. Does anybody have a fix for this?
I got a pair of AirPod 3rd gen’s for a gift and just used them on a flight to watch a movie. I couldn’t hear anything anyone was saying due to all the background noise, even with the volume maxed out. Are there any options for improving sound isolation on non-pro AirPods, or should I just buy something else with silicone tips?
hey i wanted to ask about airpods pro 2 hearing aids feature which is currently not available in india, if I change region to usa, would it work or no
I was looking for a way to increase my AirPods’ volume on my MacBook (MacBook Air M3) because it felt a bit on the low side. I found an old thread about it Link For those who don’t want to click, here’s what it says:
"For MONTHS my AirPods were horrendously quiet on my MacBook, but today I discovered how to make them louder. Hopefully, this works for you too. I think this is a BUG.
Steps:
With AirPods connected via Bluetooth to your MacBook, set the volume to 1 bar.
Disconnect (not remove) the Bluetooth connection.
Set the volume to 1 bar again.
Reconnect the AirPods and set the volume to 1 bar again.
Click “Open Sound Preferences” in the AirPods Bluetooth menu.
Go to the “Input” tab and increase it to max if it’s not already.
Set the AirPods volume to max.
Leave the System Preferences open on “Input” (DO NOT CLOSE OR CHANGE TABS).
Play something.
REVEL IN THE LOUDNESS THAT IS THE AIRPOD! "
So, I tried this, and it worked… but now my AirPods sound terrible when connected to my MacBook.
• I’ve tried resetting the AirPods to factory settings—didn’t work.
• I adjusted the input back to the middle—didn’t fix it.
So i guess be careful what you wish for.
Any advice on how to fix this or reverse this? Thanks.
I know it's expected behavior for AirPods Pro 2 battery to be displayed in the battery widget even when not in use - and it's a feature I usually like. However even when I connect my over-ear Sony headphones the widget still shows the AirPods' case and pods battery status, so it has my phone, watch, and two slots for AirPods and doesn't show my headphones. Oddly enough the widget I have on my Lock Screen does show the Sony headphones.
I got the AirPods Pro 2 after I had updated my phone update to iOS 18.2 beta. Is this how it's always been or should it show the thing I'm actually using, maybe?
I have the airpods pro from 2023 and currently I am a bit disappointed because it often happens that the stream on macbook and the audio via the airpods are quite asynchron. Via speakers it is normal so the issue is not the stream itself. Anything I can do? With 300€ Airpods I was hoping to get the premium experience but it isnt unfortunstely.
I was just curious about the Headphone Accommodations feature and took the test.
Personally I always preferred a “brighter sound”. I think that’s the cause of me somewhat losing my hearing with age, not the effect lol.
Is a preference for brighter synth sounds or mixes in general somehow a sign of hearing loss automatically? What if someone has no trouble hearing the frequencies at a lower volume, but never minded them boosted, or even prefers a snarly, bright, or sibilant synth sound?
Can hearing loss be diagnosed by one’s ability to sit through the Naked Eyes’ cover of Always Something There to Remind Me? Must have been born hard of hearing.
Also, why do we have this but not a parametric EQ?
Sorry if this is an obvious question but … just got AirPods Pro 2 and they seem legit. The orange light shows briefly when connecting case to either the watch charger or a usbc cable… but then it goes out and there is no indication the case is charging. I thought the lights at the bottom of the case are supposed to blink or at least show charging. When I check my phone, the AirPods and case show the lightning icon to indicate it’s working, but there’s no indication of charging in progress on the case. Is that right?
