I’m at a loss to understand the cause of this annoying bug, but it occurs pretty often. Whenever I put my AirPods back in the case, music starts blaring out from my iPhone.
My left airpod won’t connect no matter how hard I try, i’ve done so many resets, i’ve signed out of my apple id, I’ve restarted the phone, i’ve even tried pushing it down and wriggling it in the case but NOTHING WORKS
I used to love to use my headphone to read on noise cancellation with nothing playing. I would always snap my fingers to see if I had it in noise cancellation setting.
Since the update. I put it on noise cancellation and I could hear my cat purring next to me. It's such a quiet noise to begin with I thought it was odd but she was kind of close. I snapped my fingers and could hear it clear as day. I knew something was wrong then as this was always my test.
I then tried to cycle through the settings of adaptive. Transport. NC. And off. And NC and OFF were the exact same
Does anyone know how to fix this. What a bummer this has been
Hi everyone. I am having a lot of issues with audio balance since the most recent firmware update. The audio is moving left and right every once in a while and seems to have trouble with staying centered. I have had this issue with my AirPods Pro 1’s in the past but this is the first time I’ve experienced anything like this with my pro 2’s. The issue came about as soon as the new firmware was released for the pros. Is anyone else dealing with this issue or something similar? It’s very frustrating and annoying.
It's the same kind. If I charge it will it notify the original owner? If so what do I do because I don't really want to go through that hassle.
I have been interested in the ANC feature but my ears can’t accommodate the inserts of the pros (wife has a pair and I couldn’t make it work). I have no problems with the original ones, both in comfort and using while running. However, the ANC would be great when I’m running the snowblower or lawnmower. So I’m wondering how the current design compare to the original’s?
I have multiple pairs of Beats Studio Wireless, Powerbeats, AirPods Pro 1 and 2, Pixel Buds and etc. I’m wondering if I should starting giving some away to people less fortunate and stick with the AirPods Pro 1 and 2? Or Keep just the AirPod Pro 2 and sell them? What do you guys do with your older AirPods or earbuds that’s not being used?
I’ve been using the 3rd gen the last couple years and had the 1st gen as well. I upgraded to the base model 4 recently and the sound is noticeably worse to me. So much so that I ended up returning them.
Has anyone else had the same experience? The Apple Store basically told me that is how they are supposed to sound but compared to the 3rd gen to me they sound tinny, maybe too much synth or electronics type of sound, and somewhat distant.
The case charges to 100%, but both the AirPods stop charging at 80%. I didn’t know this was a feature for AirPods.
At this point I might be going insane. I’m trying to find out where this sound is coming from, it’s only quiet and plays randomly. One chime then a few seconds later another then nothing for days. My question is can the AirPods Pro 2 make this sound? My AirPods are normally in their case on charge when I hear the sound, obviously it might have nothing to do with the AirPods at all but I’m running out of ideas. The audio linked is what I found on YouTube to be the closest to what I can hear. It’s the chime sound not the motor noise.
Thanks in advance
I feel the off mode for noise control was the perfect balance while using them at home, while I sometimes get headaches from ANC and I don’t want transparency mode, the off mode was perfect. Why did they remove it
I've never been an Apple kind of person, so I'm not sure what's happening here. I have a Samsung phone, and was given apple Airpods (the older ones in the square case) for my birthday, and they worked perfectly fine for ages. But recently, they have been connecting like normal, then after a few minutes, they will unsync. They play the same audio a second away from eachother, which creates this annoying echoey effect. If I pop it back in it's case, then take it out again, it works fine, but only for a few minutes. It kind of takes away the point of having wireless stuff, because I have to be near the case all the time, or listen to the broken audio. Is it an incompatibility between my phone and Airpods? Or a malfunction? Or do I just need to get new Airpods? I do really like them when they're working, so am happy to replace them with a newer model, but if it's between my phone and them, is there even a point?????
I can’t seem to find their post even though I thought I saved it. I’ve been using Comply for years and it’s finally time to restock so I wanted to try out their suggestion.
Hello! Looking for AirPods Pro 2, found some at a very attractive price, are these fake?
Just dropped my right Airpod 10 meters (33 feet) and its working just fine.
Hey guys, I'm set on buying the air pods pros 2 and the price on Walmart and best buy is $179.99. Should I buy them now or should I wait for a potentially better deal for black friday?
Basically the title~ I find the fit of the pros and the airpod 3rd gen to be really uncomfortable for me. So if there is anyone out there who can relate to this + bought the new 4th gens recently, how is the fit? I saw in some videos that it is more narrow at the tip, which I think works better in my favor since I find the 3rd gens to be too round and big for my ears. Thanks in advance :)!
So I've exhausted all the youtube guides in my search for the answer so I'm turning to reddit.
Context - just bought Windows PC Laptop
I also want to buy airpods and use them as the default headset for taking zoom calls.
Have noticed online that the only way to do this is to use the Bluetooth headset mode which makes the audio for you sound like dogshit.
If you want the audio not to sound like dogshit then it says you have to disabled bluetooth headset handsfree but means you cannot use the microphone on the airpods and have to stay next to your laptop as it'll be using the laptop mic.
This would mean I would not be able to leave my laptop and walk around whilst on the call rendering them useless for my purposes.
I don't want to have to rely on the laptop microphone to take/make calls. I also don't want dogshit Headset Handsfree AG audio quality, I want the good quality Stereo quality.
Has anyone found a work around for this or am I doomed to never being able to use Airpods properly with my Windows Laptop?
Thanks
I highly doubt some of these features will ever happen. But just wishful thinking! 😅
I apologize for being one of the multitude of posters who raise the continuing issue of ear tip fit.
I have no issues with my right ear - place the Airpod in and no fiddling or shoving and it is a perfect fit when I test
Not so with the left ear - I have tried every size. I have twirled it in every position. The only way I can sometimes get it to pass the ear fit test is if I shove it in but even that doesn't always work. And the few times I have managed to create what I assume is a "vacuum seal" the actual ear cartilage starts hurting after a brief period of time.
So today I just put them in - right ear was fine and left ear didn't "fit"
Does it matter? I am actually using it as a "hearing aid" and it seems to amplify sound fairly well. Occasionally I will get some squealing which I understand is sound leaking into the microphone but I can live with that.
I have ordered extra small although I am not sure whether size is the issue versus strangely shaped ear exterior.
I use my airpods for calls all the time. Inside my house, at stores, gym, they work fine, but if im parked or sitting outside my house, or in my garage, I can hear the other person fine but they cannot hear me at all. Tried wifi only, data only, but it does not appear to be an internet issue, its some kind of interference but I can't imagine what it might be that affects only the region immediately outside my house
As of last night I’ve had this issue where my AirPods are stuck in transparency mode when I have one AirPod in. Today when I updated to iOS 18.1 normal mode is completely gone and only transparency, adaptive, and noise canceling remain.
I used normal mode a lot so I’m pissed it’s gone. Anyone else having this issue?
Hey guys, I need some help on figuring out what’s going on. I have the regular air pods but they were getting old and I wanted to upgrade to pros for the comfort/improvement in sound quality. I told my boyfriend and he was also interested in getting a new pair and his cousin sells them. So we each bought a pair. To my fault I did not do any research and just assumed newer version, equals better. Well I’m thinking maybe these are fake. The level of sound is higher on my old air pods, and when I do voice notes using the pros the background noise is so loud and my voice is hard to hear. Also when I first got them I used the cord to connect to my wall plug to charge and it didn’t work. People have also mentioned that when I’m on the phone with them on it’s hard to hear me…..I’m thinking they are fakes right? Besides the comfort, my old regular air pods are better all around. It’s def not adding up to me.
Just bought myself an AirPods 3 this one is the goat the goar
p.s. for people who would say then why you don't buy 4 series is because I got the brand new AirPods 3 and paid much less for them than Apple Store's prices
I’ve recently got my pair and apparently my left ear hole is slightly larger than my right, the medium ear tip fits fine, but the AirPod slowly falls out whenever I’m smiling and the ear tip fits test says it’s a good seal only about 50% of the time,
The large ear tips are slightly too big and start causing discomfort after a while
It just gives a deny noise in my ear when I click on it. My Pros 1 work fine though.
There is some black stuff on my AirPod case and it won’t come off and I don’t even know what it is
