/r/Whatisthisplane
The one and only subreddit dedicated to quick and accurate aircraft identification (helicopters, rockets and spaceships welcome)! Please read the rules.
Please only post planes! It does not matter if it is in a game, the plane does not exist, or whatever. Oh and btw, we also allow rockets and spaceships for some diversity.
Rules
Must be about planes. All posts must be about aircraft, this is obviously explained by the name of this sub.
Don't be rude. This is a clean and friendly sub where there will be no fighting, name calling, or accusations allowed.
Do not answer posts with “It’s a plane.” The goal of this sub is to help others successfully identify aircraft. Responding with “plane” is not helpful, and will result in your comment being removed.
Refrain from involving politics. Many aircraft are used in war. Nevertheless, please keep any political discussions to a minimum; historical facts are, of course, allowed.
Mark your post solved. When you are satisfied with an answer please reply to that comment with "Solved!" (without the quotes). This will mark the post solved.
Post has to be an identifying post. Please only use this subreddit as an identifying subreddit. If you want more info about anything, we will refer you to subreddits like r/airplanes , r/aviation , r/flying and others.

Made quite a few low passes in the past 3 days including at night paired with some unusually high altitude Mirages, so probably a military exercise of some sort.
We thought this plane looked strange, then the pilot got out, manually retracted the front landing gear, and then set it gently on the ground by hand
Title just says: "An airplane on a French vintage postcard"
So i was watching one of the episodes of Oggy and the Cockroaches, when this shot caught my attention, for me this Aircraft looks like a Mirage III i think, correct me if im wrong if its is not a Mirage III.
Is it a bae 146? Idk anything about planes but just from looking up some 4 engine planes this could be it
It was flying a lot lower than any plane of its size, we usually just get some small single engine prop planes in my area
This picture was taken in the east and very southern tip of lower Austria at 17:56, maybe you have a better way to look it up, my app shows nothing
What kind of plane could it be?
Lockheed Martin in Marietta Georgia. The C130’s from what I have been told belong to the Libyan government. I have been right up next to them years ago but since the last time I was there 2 other aircraft have been placed here. A P3 Orion and another aircraft. Any ideas? Any idea if the P3 or the other aircraft have a story?
Seen it over York a phew month ago, but haven’t found this subreddit until now.
Skibidi
Seen in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Looks like a non American fighter, had dark green camo, I have no clue.
Taken in early 2021. My local airport hasn’t had Huey’s in years so idk what they are
My dad says its some sort of drone or cruise missile, im interested if anyone know the name of it (I saw it at March Air Reserve Base, CA)
Flew over me at 3000 ft and 100 knots. Sounded like an older piston aircraft. But I didn’t recognize what it was
