Welcome! This is an adult community interested in overall wellness. We welcome wellness topics such as sexual, mental, emotional, diet, stress management, weight lifting, walking, running, yoga, etc, etc. We are an 18+ community because at times, conversations can be mature in nature. All adults are welcome, not just those over 30. Join us for inspiration, support, motivation, and connection.
This is a supportive community for people over 30 who are interested in improving fitness and maybe improving bedroom performance as a result.
We're aligned with r/SexOver30 and its associated subs.
We are
a community of supportive and caring mature individuals who are non-judgemental in the views and opinions of others towards health fitness and wellness
a place where people can express their feelings and opinions about fitness and wellness without being intimidated
a forum for individuals with minimal experience to ask for advice in the area in a non-threatening environment
an opportunity for individuals to share and exchange ideas about new, novel and different concepts towards fitness, wellness and health
a place to comfortably exchange ideas about psychological and mental health
is NOT a place for people to try and sell for-profit goods or services
and yes, a way for mature individuals to discuss how wellness affects their love and sex lives
What we are is a group of people who have lives and are trying to balance work, family, and fitness. If that's you, then welcome!
The same rules apply here as in r/SexOver30. If you need a refresher, check 'em out.

Hey everybody, it's been a minute. How are you now? How's the family?
I know our American cousins are gearing up for Thanksgiving, I hope everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends or whomever you choose or do not choose to spend it with.
Hope all is well. Breathe deep, seek peace.
Hi there,
I’m looking for an all-in-one app that covers my basic wellness needs, including cycle monitoring, nutrition, physical activities and a bit of mental healthcare. I also sometimes encountered health irregularities (e.g., constipation, yellow skin, etc) and would like to know how would you seek guidance or solution to those sensitive matters?
I don’t need advanced features, just something that helps provide a comprehensive basic view while not having to use a lot of apps in parallel.
Do you happen to know any apps or which types of apps do you use for those usecases?
Thank you so much!

I recently reduced caffeine to a half caffeine cup in the morning. My sleep has improved wonderfully according to my own perception and the data from my Oura ring. I have more energy and optimism to offer. I feel more grounded in my day. My workouts have improved. I cannot champion that decision enough in its effect on my wellness. Good luck out there.
Happy weekend, ya'll!

Last night was a tough one. As my youngest was sitting there not wanting it eat, sitting there for 45min, I was annoyed but I channelled it into time to do my chores. Then he helped with the garbages and did his lunch and went into the garage to practice hockey. He asked if I would join him; I said I would but I had to get done what I needed first. Took me 20min to get it all done, not a big deal, just the usual. But I got lazy. Heard him in the garage but I chose to sit down. Took me 10 minutes to get up and join him. Only ended up getting to spend 15min with him before we had to start the night time routine. I felt so guilty for sitting down when I could have should have been spending more time with him. I know my wife struggles with the guilt of needing to recover and being a good parent, too. I don't need any advice or anything, just had to use this to acknowledge to myself that yesterday was an internal struggle of selfishness and parenting.

I just found this group. I am in my mid 50s. I am over tired, overweight, have a poor work/life balance and have pain from OA.
I spent Saturday at an Art and Yoga retreat. I never did anything like that before but very much needed it. I felt very outside my comfort zone, but really enjoyed the day. Strange thing was, shortly after arriving home I had a massive panic attack. Nothing in particular set it off but it was very disconcerting.
Sunday I spent the day running much needed errands, getting some things squared away in my studio space. I am thinking that the unfinished business I had awaiting me when I returned home was what set off my panic attack. I went to a potluck dinner that night with artists from my guild and then returned home, stayed up late and finished setting up my studio. (I moved two weeks ago and this was the last space to do).
The retreat and my reaction upon returning home made me realize that I need to make some changes. Hoping this sub can give me some ideas and inspiration.
Happy weekend, ya'll!

Hello Holistic Living Community! 👋
I'm excited to share a new initiative that aims to bridge the gap between holistic health and sustainable food production. We’re launching a micro-farm and holistic nutrition program in Rushville, IL—an area we’re calling a "wellness desert." Our goal is to offer a range of solutions that address the lack of access to healthy foods and holistic health education.
Why Rushville, IL?
It's a small town with an aging population and limited access to fresh, healthy foods. By bringing holistic education and naturally produced foods to this community, we’re aiming to create a vibrant model that can be replicated in other wellness deserts.
Get Involved:
We’re looking for like-minded individuals who are passionate about holistic living, sustainable practices, and community wellness. Whether you're interested in learning, contributing ideas, or helping us grow this project, we’d love to connect!
✨ Join our Holistic Thriving Community on Skool to stay updated and get involved!
💚 Support our GoFundMe campaign and help us transform this wellness desert into a thriving oasis.
Your feedback and ideas are welcome—let’s work together to make holistic living accessible to everyone! 🌿💚

The election was a very emotional time for everyone. Some are happy, some are not.
This is the thread to air your grievances, celebrate your wins, discuss with others and vent your spleen.
All are welcome to chat about it, no matter where you fall on the political spectrum.
Happy Friday, wellness peeps!

Hi all, Has anyone ever experimented with MB and a small microdose of psilocybin? I’m wondering if these two counteract. I’m starting MB in my regime, going low and slow as recommended, and I feel I’m noticing some positive effects.
Occasionally I enjoy taking the odd microdose of psilocybin for meditation. So I’m wondering if I should cut out MB on those days.
Also I'm assuming if I were to do a full macrodose, i should likely cut out MB for several days/week... has anyone had experience with this or instruction on this?
Life's happening at top speed, isn't it. Hope everyone is ok or at least eeked out a silver lining out of a shit storm. How are you? No, really, how are you? Sit down, stay a while, share a story.
Apparently, it's still Tuesday. Go figure.

The Last alcoholic beverage I had and the Last nicotine product was Octobr 26, 1992. I have never wanted to start either again. I did it "cold turkey". I'm bragging with that last sentence because I know it's hard to do.
