Here’s my wedding ring set I got an upgrade for my 8 year anniversary and I still to this day love it
I want people honest opinions on this wedding band with my engagement ring. I love it but part of me is scared it will take away from the engagement ring diamond…
Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I don’t really have anyone to share this with, but I just have to let out my excitement—so here I am!
As the subreddit suggests, I’ll be proposing soon!
My girlfriend of 5 years isn’t a materialistic person—she’s the type who insists she doesn’t want anything for her birthday and always puts others’ comfort before her own. It’s a quality I deeply admire and love about her. Of course, despite her insisting she doesn’t need or want gifts, I make it my personal mission to surprise her anyway—because let’s be honest, I know better.
That said, we recently had a casual conversation about engagement rings, and I think I managed to play it cool—she has no idea what’s coming! After carefully looking at her other jewelry, taking note of the preferences she’s shared, and even observing the styles of people around her, I finally made my decision.
Now, as an engineering student working full-time alongside my studies, I’ve been able to save up what I consider a meaningful amount for her ring. And let me tell you—I took a deep dive down the rabbit hole when it came to finding the perfect diamond. I now know more about the 4Cs, fluorescence, and certifications than I ever thought I would.
And after all the research and planning, I (and soon she!) am the proud owner of this beautiful, minimalistic platinum solitaire ring.
I can’t wait for the moment I get to ask her to spend forever with me!

I cannot wait to wear this set every day. 😍 I absolutely love it. Just wanted to show it off a little. It’s a half eternity with pave setting. The engagement ring is a natural diamond but the wedding band is lab diamonds.
Looking to get a commitment ring for my girlfriend. She wants a black sapphire ring, much like the one attached, and most of the ring shops I've been to in my area work with mostly diamonds. Any recommendations on reputable companies?
Heyy all, I am considering a 1.5mm tungsten carbide ring for my wedding band specially one from Royal Kay on amazon. It's nickel and cobalt free, but i am wondering if 1.5mm is too thin for daily wear. I have a platinum pave engagement ring, Would the difference in metal cause any wear or durability issues over time? I would love any advice or band recommendations.
Hey everyone! I am in the process of picking out an engagement ring and I am having a tough time deciding on the setting. I love the idea of a classic solitaire, but I am also drawn to something a little more unique, like a halo or a three-stone setting. I am curious if any of you have gone for a more unconventional setting, like a tension setting or something vintage-inspired? I'd love to hear what style you went with and what made you choose it!
Would this work for you? Let me know if you need any tweaks!
Any ideas what wedding band would look best with my engagement ring?
Hi everyone.. I am currently in the process of picking a wedding ring, and i could really use some advice. I am considering different styles, but i am unsure about what would look best for me. I am leaning towards a platinum band with diamond solitaire but i am open to suggestions. Have any of you chosen something unique, like a vintage- inspired design or a band with stones? I would love to hear what worked for you.
Hey y'all.
I have had the worst two months with this company and I just want to leave my experience here so that no one makes my mistakes.
Absolutely do not size down on the comfort fit bands like their website tells you to.
Their support is not there to help in any way, only to copy/paste their policies into an email.
Getting a ring engraved means you cannot get a refund in any way. (This is one me, I misunderstood their policy and my understanding was that only the cost of the engraving would not be refunded)
Their website says free exchanges but I was still charged a $30 restocking fee.
Because I sized down on the ring, it was too small. I was okay with that possibility, as I would just be able to exchange the ring for the next size up if it was. Nope. In the 6 weeks it took to get me the ring, they decided to discontinue the style. Asked for a refund instead, since they don't offer the ring anymore, was obviously denied. Okay, so we choose another ring because it said it was in stock/ready to ship and our wedding is fast approaching. Now I've checked the order status and the ring was in fact NOT in stock and it will be another 6 weeks. I reached out to them to ask what happened and they told me their website had a glitch and listed it incorrectly. I asked if there was any way to get expedited shipping or speed up production time since I would absolutely not have ordered this ring if I was aware that it would not be here for another 6 weeks. They replied that they would be happy to cancel my order if I wanted to order a different one. At this point we are so far from the ring he wanted, it's no longer engraved, and doesn't match my band anymore either.
I feel cheated out of $900 and won't even have the ring for the wedding. It's heartbreaking and so frustrating. And it literally all could have been avoided if I hadn't ordered the half size down LIKE THE WEBSITE TOLD ME TO DO.
Sorry for the word vomit.
I’m so tempted to just get a plain 1.5mm tungsten carbide ring on Amazon as a wedding band for myself. Free returns, so if I hate it, I can send it back with little hassle. I have my eye on this one from royal kay. Anyone know if this thin of a band in this metal is ok? The seller has also stated it’s nickel and cobalt free. Anything else I should think about regarding this metal? I have a platinum pave engagement ring. Not sure if one metal being more brittle than the other would matter here?
