Me and my boyfriend have planned spooky world, but then found out last minute that we can’t wear our 300 pound costumes and makeup to the place. So we’re binning off the tickets but I cannot for the life of me find a good adult Halloween party for today, it needs to be today because I’m in work the rest of the week. If anyone can help me I would be over the moon, thank you
Hi. As the title say. I just wonder how many people will be affected by this change (extra ticket?). I thought they want more people using public transport, not less.
What is this music? seems to be every weekday morning between 9 and 11am. It sounds like typical football-tv music. I don’t know how else to describe it. Anyone know why it happens? Its origins?
I'm (35m) thinking of taking a date (35f) out for a meal in a couple of weeks (when we're next both off at the same time), and was thinking of going somewhere a bit more upmarket for a meal (possibly having a drink while we're at it). The plan in my head is to meet up, go for a meal, and get a taxi or an uber home (so we can both have a drink). Can anyone suggest any good places that can be booked in advance thst aren't bargain bucket cheap but aren't a complete ripoff? TIA
Can anyone recall the name of musical instrument store underneath the arches beside Warrington central?
Hi, i am a 16 year old student wanting to earn some extra cash in their free time, does anyone have any work where they would be willing to take me on or know any jobs that are taking on 16 year olds. Thanks
Was anyone in golden square at 1pm today? An alarm went off and heard various police cars. Just wondering if anyone had any additional information. Looked like quite a serious incident
Hi, I’m looking into my family history and my great grandfather was living in a caravan on this street, according to a newspaper article. This would have been back in 1930. It doesn’t look like it exists though.. has anybody heard of it? Thanks

My boy (14) went stop pestering me for a perm. Does anybody know any good places around Warrington that do boys perms?
I've been hearing it every few mornings the past few weeks, it sounds like it's coming from around the Crab Lane playing fields
It's definitely not fireworks but I can't say it's definitely gunshots either.
Anyone know is there firing range opened up there recently or something?
Hello there,
I moved to the area a few weeks ago and I'm playing Pikmin Bloom to get myself to go on walks more but that would be even fun if I didn't have to do that alone.
Does anyone here wanna go on Pikmin walks together? I discovered the Sankey Brook a while ago and thought that might be a nice spot.
If anyone is interested, drop a comment or a pm and we can work out details =) I'm excited to meet local people!

When we get to the end of the month, I might do a rundown of all the previous Wordle’s on the newsletter. That way, if you only signed up a month or so ago, you can go back and play all the old ones.
Here is today’s Wordle. If you need it, there is a clue at the bottom of the newsletter.
If you were wondering where we were on Wednesday, it was Queens Gardens, which is in the middle of Palmyra Square. Most of you got this correct that replied via email or on our Instagram. If you want to see the picture, check out u/fromwarrington on Instagram.
Here is your forecast for the weekend. It will drop to lows of 4 this weekend. Not long before, we will be scraping the ice off the car! 🥶
Friday - 🌤️ 13° - 4°
Saturday - 🌧️ 14° - 5°
Sunday - 🌧️ 14° - 10°
⚽️ Warrington Town don’t play their next match until the 5th of October.
🏉 Warrington vs. St Helens, 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. It's our first play-off game, and judging by how poorly the Saints have been playing lately and the fact that we are at home, you have to think this is a game we can’t lose. It looks likely to be a big crowd. If you still need tickets, you can get them here.
Thanks for reading From Warrington today.
If you had fun, forward this to someone who remembers dancing at Edison’s (it’s now a Chinese buffet) back in the day.

Hi all!
My partner and I recently moved to Warrington for our work, and are looking for ways to spend the weekend.
Apart from Bank Park or Palymra square, we haven't really been hanging out in nature much :/. Also thinking of going to the meditation centre on Academy street.
Does anyone recommend maybe a bus route that goes to somewhere more interesting, maybe somewhere with ducks or other mild wildlife?
Also open to any advice for relaxing activities in general...
Thanks!
Do these live in and/or around Warrington? I was outside just now (02:38) and something just ran off when it heard me coming.. it was fairly dark but in the street light far off I could just make out that it was definitely not a cat, and it was definitely not a dog… I am Canadian so naturally I think: coyote. But please correct me if I’m wrong!
It says this on the wiki article on replicas of the Statue of Liberty:
A 10-foot-high (3.0 m) replica is in the stairwell of a bowling alley building in Warrington, England. It used to be above the entrance of a restaurant nearby.
I've googled to no avail. Does or did this actually exist, and if so where was the restaurant?
Hi I’ve recently moved to Warrington and was wondering if there’s any cheaper rail passes available than the £207 for a monthly pass through trainline. Thanks ☺️
Hello Warrington,
For about half a year I have bee running a small TTRPG group (if you don't know think Dungeons and Dragons) and I wanted to increase our group size by a couple of people.
The group currently consists of 4 players of mixed genders and myself. We are all around 30 years old and most of the players are very new to the hobby. We are playing the pathfinder first edition rules system, which I am happy to teach if you don't know it (as I said most of the players are new and are also still learning).
We meet every other Thursday at 7p.m. and play for around 2 hours.
Please do reach out if you are interested in playing or have any more questions!

About to move to a place with a wood burning stove. Where's the best place to get firewood in bulk?
Have room to season wood so doesn't all need to be kiln dried stuff.
Bloody big fire / smoke by the retail park, anyone have a clue what it is? Nobody seems to be arsed.
