Why do some 7/11, Spee Marts, random gas stations have these flashing blue/red lights outside of them by the doors?

I've wondered it for years and just saw it again tonight and I'm like WTF

I am looking at moving to Vegas with my partner in the next year. We work in Hospitality (Hotel Management) and Serving. I’ve only been to Vegas on Vacation and stay on the strip. Most of the better paying jobs are on the strip, but living on/near the strip is expensive. Ive heard the area behind stratosphere to Fremont street is pretty bad with homeless and crime. If we wanna live within 15 minutes of the strip where would you recommend?

Okay, this is for all the hikers/urban explorers out there, so i’ve been exploring around the frenchman mine area on the southern half of frenchman mountain.

Yesterday, i came across this cave which seemed to be an old mineshaft, it looked man made and there seemed to be people living in it. There’s a few trails too but I can’t find much about anything online. All I could find was that the mineshafts were sealed in the 1940s.

I was wondering if anyone knew more about the area? could i really have stumbled across an old mineshaft? i didn’t want to go in because like i said it seemed to be someone’s place.

from my understanding not many people go hiking here, almost everyone tends to hike the actual peak from the north side of the mountain. I just want to know more about this southern area of Frenchman mountain and the history/lore

Did anyone else receive a very disturbing text message today from that company talking about how the owner has sex with the dogs in the vans? True or not, I've had dealings with this company in the past that made me wary, this is sending it over the edge. If it isn't true, then still someone hated them this much to do this. I think it's my sign to run. With that being said, I've struggled to find a good mobile groomer in Vegas. I had an amazing one, but she moved and I've been struggling since. I would love recommendations because Furry Land is not going to be it.

I heard people say the busses in the city don't have air conditioning. I've never been on a bus so I can't confirm or deny. Is this true?

About 6 months ago i found videos on the bossmans computer of multiple of our groomers (along with nicholas who runs the company) having sex with your dogs in our vans. The amount of videos alone disgusts me.

Countless heinous acts of sexual immorality and evil beyond measure. I know that today is the day that ill lose my job and it breaks my heart that ive allowed this to go on this far.

I was parked at the paid parking spots on the streets when it’s supposed to be free. I get to my car at 4:07am to see I got a $25 parking ticket at 3:59am. It’s the weekend so can’t call parking enforcement. Just curious if I was wrong in thinking there’s free parking from 10pm to 8am. Thanks
