We are two students from Denmark who investigate the consumer perception of plant-based meat and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). If you have a few minutes, please take our survey. Your opinion matters, and we would be grateful :)

Still mourning the loss of Mother’s cafe. Does anybody has the bueno burger recipe or get to source it from? TIA
i'm going to be a freshman at ut austin next year and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sold boba with nondairy alternatives?
Hello, we are a group of psychology researchers from the University of Kent, UK. It would be a huge help if any vegans interested would fill out our quick survey (18+ only) about your personal views surrounding your dietary lifestyle choices.
https://kentpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Ku4sTRSxSv8RZH
The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and we're happy to answer any queries or questions you may have.
Thanks for your time.
Edit: The survey is now closed! Thanks very much for your time, we'll be sure to post any results here when they're ready!
We are bringing my Daughter for a UT Campus after Thanksgiving and will be there 2 days. We are also staying nearby. What are some good Vegan restaurants near the campus?
I'm sure all of them have some vegan items, but do any of them have more/better quality?
Hello everyone! We are students of the Bologna Business School in Italy, working towards obtaining a Masters degree in Business Administration. We are carrying out a survey for a project work which has as its object the possible launch in the US market of a vegan cheese based on almonds and cashews and your opinion is very important for us. In specific, it is a type of product called "fermentino" and is obtained through a fermentation process of almonds and cashews, water, salt and natural ferments. We kindly ask you to dedicate a few minutes of your time to this questionnaire, which is totally anonymous.. All data will be used only for educational purposes. A huge thank you in advance for taking the time out of your day and answering these questions for us. Just as the title says, you bring me some of that amazing food that we can't get here in Houston and I will pay for your efforts.
What I'm craving right now is BBQ Revolution. Never ate there, but the craving is real.
I will pay for the order (obviously), and tip you very generously. Let me know if you're interested. I can meet you anywhere in Houston, but I'm located in the Heights.
Went for a bowl of Pho Chay at Pho Thaison and, poof, a new Indian restaurant had opened up, two doors down. Lunch and dinner buffets, all vegetarian, lots of vegan. Of the 9 entrees they had out, 7 were vegan. Saag paneer and another one had cream or cheese in it. Very friendly. Give them a try!
Hi y'all!
I currently volunteer for the Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption Sanctuary in Seguin, TX (www.sarasanctuary.org). Our printing service accidentally printed several extra copies, so I've been looking for animal friendly places to distribute them.
I was wondering if you had any suggestions, or if any of you would like a copy yourself!
Thanks!
I found a TVP "Chicken" product in the bulk section. It's similar to crumbled TVP, in that it needs to be reconstituted. I decided to give it a go in my mock chicken noodle recipe. Holy moly. It made SUCH a huge difference. It's a perfect substitute. The textured is great, flavor is mild and absorbs the broth and seasonings well, and doesn't fall apart in a slow cooker (note: you add it to a slow cooker recipe about 30 minutes before the soup is finished cooking).
Also, they have a "beef" TVP crumble in bulk that is AWESOME. I've replaced my regular TVP with this for tacos and chili. I accidentally added it to a slow cooker chili recipe at the beginning and it held up ok. Would have been best if added in the last 30 minutes.
Anywho, thought I'd share the info, as I'm very, very happy with them. Happy cooking!
Vegan Nom now has two locations. They moved the original trailer to Buzz Mill, which is a pretty rad coffee shop. They also really needed a veg option, and Blue Ox (the other trailer there) is BBQ and meat-tastic.
The owner told me they'll be reopening on North Loop soon as well.
