Sauce: How to Grill Our Love
So I made a post in this sub a while back complaining about how ass the anime was. We all saw it so no use beating a dead horse, but I genuinely did stop watching it after episode 2. I had so many people recommend the book that I just went to B&N, placed it in order and then picked it up.
Absolute night and day difference. So many of the story threads, while still kinda all over the place, are noticeably more fleshed out. That horrible pacing that was present in the show is severely diminished. To anyone like me whose first introduction to this world was the show, I recommend the book for sure. I can’t get you your time back (unfortunately), but you can at least enjoy it how it was meant to be.
It could be the whirlpools, or the snails or the damn clouds if you have to. As long as it's related to the spirals
I've been watching the anime and just wondering others thoughts...
Scared the absolute shit out of my boyfriend 😂
Manga and anime character are acceptable

Is my neighborhood cursed
I had seen a few times, “should I read the manga after watching the anime?” Yes. Full stop.
I did just that and despite knowing the main plot points displayed in the anime, Uzumaki remained a gripping, page-turning masterpiece. The pacing is excruciating - your dread sinks in synonymously with the characters’.
The first episode of the anime was my introduction to Junji Ito and after watching it, I placed the manga on hold at my library. And nine more of his works. A month later, it was my turn to become one with the spiral and I will be buying my own copy to be able to visit this world whenever I please. It is that good.
So, should you read the manga after watching the anime? It’s more of a disservice to not.
Unanimous agreement that Kirie is BORING!!!!! But still a nice lady. What kinda hobbies do you think she’d have if spiral peril no longer affected her? Maybe she’d take up pottery after her father. Would she be into painting? Would she smoke weed? Maybe she likes cross-stitching? Would Shuichi smoke weed with her? What if she’s extremely into local sports? Is smoking weed on her day planner? She should…
Pumpin
should i give movie a try does it follow manga, how much different the anime is to manga?
"I think I may have a rival" is excluded as it's already in the chart.
