CHMB42’s second midterm marks are officially out! How did everyone do, personally I did better than the first one, I don’t think it was possible to do worst than the first one for me 😭
has anyone received their claa04 assignment grade back? it was supposed to be released yesterday i believe but i still haven’t received my grade.
All working computers are occupied, and some people takes the place and doesn't even use the computer.
So i encountered something rather weird when checking my grades.. normally i find that the turtin ai percentage score thing gets released with your marks ie. you see your score when marks come out (at least that's how its been for all my courses) but for one of my assignments the turtin score has come back but my grade for the assignment hasn't. The prof said they were supposed to come back a week ago and I'm now scared and panicking about whether or not i was flagged. Am i just being paranoid??
Does anyone have practice exams or finals from previous years? Not really sure how to study.
Is it possible to remove a previous CR/NCR. I feel like i wasted a CR/NCR on a course and i just wanna know if its able to remove it
whole infographic attached and everything
Applications are elcomed 🗣️🗣️🗣️
For ppl who've done this course, how do-able is it to get a 50 in the final? I've reviewed lecture questions, the midterm and sample final exam and can do those, but idk if thats enough to get a 50 in the final, it's with Dr Zhang btw
For past students, how did you do well on the final, study tips and key points? For current students who did well on the midterm how did you study?
I forgot to do square cap questions. I confused them with mindtap (ik I’m stupid). Guess it’s all on the exam now.
hey! for anyone in psyb10 or took it in the past I'm a little bit worried about the final exam and the long answer question where we have to tie multiple concepts over the course. does anyone have any advice?
Hi everyone!
Anyone got notes on BIOB10? I have my own but I feel they haven't helped me much, maybe its the way I'm studying too, I did do better on the 2nd midterm using other methods but maybe I need to create a new style of notetaking?
Does uoft use turnitin ai detection or do they just detect plagiarism since those detectors can often be misleading
I’m having trouble figuring this out and I really want to know what my term grade is, if someone could please tell me how do I do it/if it’s possible to calculate it in Canvas I would appreciate it :)
Can someone please share notes for SOCA05 week 9 and 12 please 🙏
So I checked on the website for LWD details, what does it mean by it is expected that your instructors return a minimum of 20% of your total grade? does it means that they give me some extra grade"This means that you are able to drop the course on ACORN, and have it removed from your transcript. It is expected that your instructors return a minimum of 20% of your total grade by the drop date deadline; oftentimes, instructors provide more than the minimum. You are expected to make an informed decision, and take action accordingly. There are a variety of reasons for wanting to drop a course that are acceptable before the drop deadlines, such as:"
Does anyone know where I can find past exams for this course for practice?
I’ve done all the review the prof gave and I wanna be extra prepared !!
hiii so i’m gr 12 rn i just submitted my application to the biology program here, i currently have an 85% (advanced functions 91, chemistry 82, drama 81, social justice 89) average if i calculated my current midterm HOWEVER. my gr 11 marks r very bad. when i say bad i mean 50-70s bad. so i’m just curious if any students currently in this program could help ease my worries on this one or at least give me the brutal truth. THANK UUUU

Guys, is it better to use cr/ncr or LWD? but although I passed the course and got the credit, since this is my major requirement, I'll need to retake it anyway, then when I retake it, I won't be able to get the credit by that time right?
Cuz I really don't know if I can pass the course or not, and the deadline for both of them are tomorrow and I really need some feedbacks. Will LWD have really bad impact on my future career? I heard that it'll be bad if we have an LWD on out transcript. I'm a second-year student btw.
Can someone play the pirates of the Caribbean theme song one day, preferably in winter sem😂 also let's be honest, whoever is playing ARE TALENTED LIKE YALL LITERALLY ATE ON THE PIANO, literally the ppl I listened to
As the title says, I usually study in the library and I switch from the common spaces to the individual spaces from time to time and sometimes I’ll come like 2 minutes and give a heads up, but some people are just so adamant and they’ll look at you like you’re some scarecrow (like if there were curtains they would literally stand up and close them in your face) and I would not be bothered as much if they were studying, but why tf you stay in a booked room passed your time to chat to your friend or whatever like are you guys okay? It’s genuinely so annoying and irritating cause I plan my study time and material in advance accordingly. This school gives me a different reason that drives me to the edge everyday. I already hate this place why do the people have to make it twice as hard and worse. Anyway good luck on your finals :)
I was reviewing the past final exam and feel comfortable with most of the material. I was wondering—will the final exam be similar in structure and content to that one?
Any of the undergrads got any offer or know when the offers will be out?
If I were to CR/NCR, but I know I can obtain a CR for the class, will that look bad on my transcript? The course is an elective to fulfill the breadth requirement and no applications or my program requires it.
are we allowed to use the lab manual during the exam?
anyone know if im good for the final by just memorizing the textbook 😭 I haven't attended the lectures since October and I lowk regret it.
Should I take psyc13 with Cendri Anne Claire Hutcherson or psyc62 with Mark Morrissey?
Our prof posted a sample exam from the previous year, in general for this course are the sample exams posted similar to the actual exam or is it a lot harder?
