Starting a campaign next week with people I met on campus and was wondering where we could possibly play. I know you can rent out room in the library, but I don’t know if they are soundproof or anything like that. I know there are a bunch of side rooms in the student union but i haven’t fully explored it. So any recommendations would be great!

Every issue in the ballot will be a tight race that could be decided by a handful of voters. Don’t have regrets later: President, Senate, Florida Supreme Court justices who upheld the 15- and 6-week abortion bans, legalized marijuana, and abortion (which needs 60%, and polling at 59%).

Son is freshman in high school in Orlando. At the moment wants to go to college and major in computer science and possibly UCF. He talks about doing this attached pathway in high school via dual enrollment. Is this a good idea? Or any drawbacks? Thanks

I am an avid lover of renaissance faires and wish more people would get to experience them in their awesome-ness♥️🤭 Would it be plausible to start an RSO whose main goal is to plan and host an annual renaissance festival? I also feel like it could provide some short term employment for some students during the weekends and we can take volunteers and give hours. We could partner with other organizations like the dnd clubs and maybe artistic clubs who may want to be vendors. I dunno I think it’s cool and would be nice🤷🏽♀️. Y’all think peeps would take interest in it??
Does anyone know any good stylists for locs / retwists in the area, especially not expensive ones?
So as a little preface, I’m a civil engineering major in the midst of my junior year and was thinking of doing an internship for the summer. Originally my plan was to take CEG 4011C and CWR 4202 over the summer, but if I plan to do an internship I feel that it might take up some time and not allow myself a schedule to do so. I know some places want full time for summer and some accept part-time but I would like to be as competitive as I can so I’m thinking of doing 5 classes for spring, and 4 classes for fall instead of my original 3 before graduating by spring 2026. I feel like these five classes are do-able but I’m not sure if I should do them in summer instead. Any thoughts or ideas?
On a side note, even though I’m in civil engineering I prefer the construction aspect (like project engineer, surveying, estimates, sites, etc)and being on the field more so are there any recommendations for places I can apply to possibly intern over the summer?
Thank you if you made it this far and hope you all have a good rest of your semester !
I sent my transcript showing proof of my AA long before the deadline, and it's been confirmed that the school's received it. Do I just gotta wait a while more for it to be properly processed?
Hopefully tag is correct 'cause I'm unsure what else to label this inquiry as
i’m looking to start a college radio show here at ucf. does anyone have any advice as to who or what department i need to be speaking with? i was able to find a list of staff under the film/ mass media department, but i’m not sure if there’s someone specific i should get in contact with.
I’m interested in engineering (specifically Mechanical or Biomedical) so can anyone explain the differences, pros and cons between each university’s Engineering program. And what are the Engineering programs like?
I also have other questions -
How is campus life and location?
Which do you prefer living, Orlando vs Gainesville?
How expensive is off-campus vs on-campus housing in Orlando vs Gainesville?
Which university is cheaper?
What are the job prospects after graduating?
Which university is more hands on with learning?
Which university offers more internships and connections?
Which program prepared you more
I know there is some sort of thing where you can match with a roommate in advance, but do they have to be in the same year? How does it work?
My boyfriend got me a water bottle not even a week ago and I left it either in CB2, in the library by the printers, or at one of the shuttle stops I have no clue. I feel horrible and really want it back.
*if anyone finds it, it’s white, metal, has a black lid with a straw, and has a bunch of UCF logos/decor on it
From the Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion website: “Anticipated to open in Fall 2025, the new building will make a positive impact on the future of nursing with:
2X the space to increase enrollment across nursing degree programs to address the critical nursing shortage” It says anticipated to open in Fall 2025, but does that mean that those applying to the Orlando campus in Feb will get the choice of applying to two separate buildings or is it just one application in general?
I wanna go study but don't wanna waste my time if it's not open. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I am studying abroad this semester to Spain and Portugal and before I leave I would love to speak with and ask question to any students or professionals from these two countries. If you’re open or if you know anyone who might be open to sharing any insights about their careers and cultures please feel free to direct message me or leave it down in the comments. I’m excited and eager to learn about anyone from any industry whether in finance, healthcare, etc…… Thank you!
Hi! I was wondering how often RA’s check throughout the year (specifically lake claire)! Do any upperclassmen know?
I can’t connect to the UCF_WPA2 WiFi in either my phone or laptop. Is there an outage or is this a problem with my connection.
Is anyone’s job hiring? Or know one of those companies whose AI will automatically give an interview? Please help🙏🏻
Anybody going to the UCF vs UF game tomorrow and doing some sort of tailgating? The person I was going with had something come up and is not able to go anymore. Would love to meet some new people!
i’ll be transferring to ucf next fall as a junior and i wanted to know if juniors/seniors live at the hub or if it’s mostly freshmen?
So I know it's kind of late into the semester at this point, we're a good 5 weeks in, but I need to change my major, and pretty drastically too. I'm changing from Biotech (College of Medicine) to Media Management (College of Science/Nicholson School of Communication). Do you think I could talk to an advisor of some sort and weasel my way into some new classes? It's a bit late but I don't want to waste out the remaining 3/4 of the semester. I was thinking of trying to contact the Nicholson School but is there a better person to ask about this stuff? Do I have to tough out these current classes while I wait? Thanks in advance!
