Bought the game for Wii at launch, finally getting around to beating this game. I almost screwed myself by saving at Eldin bridge but I decided to enter twilight wolf part before saving and quitting, thank god.
Anyway, i'm at the Lakebed Temple, after this will I ever need the water bombs again or should I switch all three bags over to standard bombs? I'm not going for the bag upgrade, controlling the boat is painful.
I know I'll need rupees to repair the bridge, any good places to farm rupees? I know of the 200 silver in Kakariko and gold bugs, anything else of high value?
Is the 1,000 rupee wallet worth completing the quest? Is there anything that requires a 600+ rupee purchase?
Personally I’d like to see more combat options as Wolf Link
I can’t unsee it
I was messing around in the flight by fowl game and I stumbled across this wall clip so you can get down to lake Hylia without paying 20 rupees.
If you line Link up with the wall and do a jump attack followed by a shield attack in the right spot, it will clip Link through the wall and ground into lake Hylia.
Don't know if this has been found. If it has, i didn't do enough looking on the internet.
After I figured this out and using the widescreen hack, I got the game in 16;9 ratio, it sounds good, looks good, has minimal lag and is so fun to play with an actual Nintendo controller . Keep in mind this was done on my android Motorola with an app called 'smart connect" and this is an LG OLED TV
I hope you enjoy
I’ve always wanted to play Twilight Princess but when I got around to it, my game would constantly crash after the title screen. I set my mind to buying Twilight Princess for Wii but after getting a new TV, I wanted to try my copy of Twilight Princess HD one more time. Somehow, it worked and it functioned normally! Does anyone know why this happened to me? Has it happened to you?
Amazing soundtrack and unique and genius dungeons. Link had personality and people in his community who looked up to him
So I'm playing the Wii version and I've only gotten 44 out of the 45 pieces of heart but when I went to the fortune teller to see where the last one was she said I didn't have any left. I just finished the twilight dungeon and when I went in I had one less piece than the walk through I was following. There are 45 in the Wii version right? Is this a glitch or did I just miss one?
am I tripping??
So yesterday I went to a mom and pop game store. I bought 3 games for the Wii, 2 of them work fine. (If you’re curious I got epic Mickey, and Wii play) Twilight princess is the one that won’t run. I started up this morning and it will load up and get through the opening sequence and to the make a save profile but once you get past that it says unable to read disk and asks me to restart the Wii. I have tried 3 separate time to load this. I can’t see anything wrong with it there’s no big scratch and the Wii reads other games. Used a light to check to see if has any pin holes or unseen scratches and none. It has a flat edge but it does have some white residue on the edge that I’ve never seen before.
Ok, so I'm playing through the GC version on Dolphin, after getting the Master Sword I decided that it would be funny to go get the cannon because I want the dual claw-shots as soon as possible (I like the claw-shots a lot).
I knew how to get into the cannon room because of speedruns I watched ages ago, so I got the canon to lake Hylia (Midna didn't want to warp it at first, but it was possible by using the map), and then I did a bunch of secondary stuff (without saving of course), and when I wanted to ask the canon guy to repair it, the cut-scene started, Dolphin showed an error message, then the cut-scene got stuck (see screenshot).
Since I'm playing on emulator, I have some "hacks":
- the Hyrule Field speed hack (it just avoids lag when going through Hyrule Field, more of a fix than a hack)
- camera inversion for aiming and the free cam
- force 16:9 image ratio
Edit: according to the speedrun wiki I just found and some more testing, I had to both give the memo to unlock Oasis Flight AND go to the Gerudo desert at least once. Damn, I lost 2 hours of progress to a single yes/no question...
Since the general consensus is crossbow training fits here in this subreddit, I’m posting my announcement.
I’ll be playing with the Ball™️ tomorrow at noon! (GMT-6) I hope you enjoy, it’s certainly going to be an experience.
One of these days, I’ll have to play twilight princess (wii) with the Ball™️ like I did with skyward sword. Perhaps for the 20th anniversary.
https://twitch.tv/finniganfinkle tune in if you’d like, don’t if you aren’t interested. I hope to see some of you there :D
Doesn't feel like this game came out 18 years ago today. Still my favorite 3D Zelda game of all time. Hope we get this game on Switch family consoles one day.
The cutscene won’t load so I can’t fight the elder. Any ideas on how to fix this?
