I got my first tattoo! It HAD to be Wolfwood--
A late little birthday gift to myself this year, it was a wonderful experience. I will be back for a matching Vash on my other legāŗ!
I'm planning to commission a friend to draw "all" the Vashes together, finding concept arts for all are kinda difficult, so I'm looking a easy way to show all the differences in their design
It would be:
"Anime Vash" with his more classical costume
"Maximum vash" with mostly black hair and the coat with "tubes" on his ribs
"Stampede Vash" this one is easier to explain
And "Badlands ruble Vash" I think his design in the movie is different enough to be in this art
Definitely heavily referenced some stock image of a guy holding a gun like this but it hopefully stands on its own okay.
About a month ago I posted how I remade Vashās jacket for the Black variation of this doll. After putting it off for so long, I finally go round to remaking the jacket for the red variation.
He was purchased from Mercari Japan, and like the last one, his jacket, pants and arm sleeves were basically disintegrating.
I saved the patterns I made from the last jacket, so didnāt need to take this one apart (thankfully). I reused some red scrap material (cotton I think?) that I had left from an old cosplay, and used the silver rivets I had left over from the previous jacket (which I repainted black using nail polish)
This was a bit easier to do compared to the previous one, as the material was a lot more sewing machine friendly. Whilst Iām glad heās refurbished and looking good as new, making clothing for dolls is really tedious and stressful, so Iām glad itās over haha.
Left pic is how I received him (though after taking him out the box the jacket turned to dust), right is the finished piece.
Waited for my Christmas bonus to hit my bank account to get this good boi, especially with the sale crunchyroll hadā¦and now heās gone-
Anime versions include 98 anime and Stampede
I got him for free and only paid 98 cents for the loz totk poster I got too!
Wanted to share my gorgeous new tattoo courtesy of u/RattyMctatti !
So excited the cast is going to be there this weekend! Going to have them sign my books for each characters weapon on them. Sould I do front or inside of the book?
Made this with gĆ¼ttermann sewing thread and single-strand DMC floss š¤
But I'm too lazy to check for repeats rip
Honestly I think I was so lucky to have found Wolfwook and Milly Thompson, their cosplay was great, mine is more... I especially have a problem with "wig" I had one before, but it litteraly exploded and looked like cheese š
What do you think I could work more on? (If it still wasn't obvious, I'm Vash)
