So I was pretty much listening for it the whole time because this curiosity was stuck in my head after Knives says “Millions Knives” so poignantly in Stampede. It made me realize that this full name may not actually be used out loud in the original anime. Can anyone confirm? I guess back in the day we all just knew that name from the credits or from the internet, etc.
I preordered through 3, but 4 and 5 aren't on Crunchyroll's store yet. Amazon wants $50 each vs $34 from CR so prefer to save some money.
I've been interested in this series for a while and now I'm planning to start it. I'm going to take the anime route and I think the show covers the entire 3 volume manga with additional material. Is this true, or should I check parts of manga if not the whole thing after the anime? The sequel manga (it's called Trigun Maximum I think) has no adaptation so I think I'll read it afterwards.
The reason I chose the anime is because I like watching old anime, they have their own charm. Also it's rated higher than manga. What are your thoughts? I appreciate any advice.
I've been working on some custom nendoroids, and really wanted to make Vash and Nai as kids. They still look weird to me, need some upgrades. And clothes turned out to be way bigger for them 🤣
My handcanon for modern au Trigun is just Vash and Meryl as police inspectors...Maybe with a bit of Gunsmith Cats and Dogs Bullets and Carnage mixed in.
how would this fight play out in your opinion? it takes place where vash fought legato in the climax of the manga but the opponents are swapped (he gets livio instead). i wonder if elendira is fast enough to dodge his automatic defense blades.
Oh hey look Stryfe is experiencing Vash's PTSD again
So I've seen TriStamp and am finishing up '98, and I was wondering if the manga is as... gritty? The differences between the anime feels like FMA vs FMAB in terms of the blood and emotional whiplash.
I'm planning on reading the Ultimate Overhaul still though.

I recently finished watching Trigun 1998, and the show had me in tears. I love the characters, the symbolism, and the comedy aspects. It is honestly so good, and now I'm trying to get my friend and my cousin to watch it.
would vash beat gojo?
Like I see this and my brain goes TRIGUN! At least they would be right about the protein part lol.
"We all talk about Vash's scars but Imagine Meryl with scars she got by stepping in."
