Me and my mate are thinking of trying to get back to brizzy via Clermont - rocky - Hervey bay etc. We are thinking of leaving tmrw morning. Does anyone know how safe the drive will be to Clermont via charters towers? Any advice would be welcome. Cheers👍
Hi all, does anyone know of any pharmacy/chemist that is currently open with all this crazy weather? Thank you 😊
New to Townsville and this rain! Help!
Surely someone knows the person behind this amazing account.
Located in Garbutt, have water seeping in from cracks on my floor, need to get to Bunnings to try and buy some sealant and hope it does something.

Is anyone else having issues with the sewerage network not working as intended. I know once the rain passes over then it won't be an issue. However, we're paying a fortune in rates for a pretty poor sewerage network, and in the last couple of weeks council were apparently unclogging the network for a weather event like we're seeing this weekend. I reported the street drains going in reverse during the rain before Christmas and obviously nothing was done, only for it to be an issue again today. Is anyone else having similar issues? Have you had any luck after reporting it to council? I haven't.
Location in Burdell.
This is just bad DO NOT DRIVE UNLEES YOU HAVE A 4WD ive seen so many sedans stuck do not risk it stay safe ❤️🙏
Just finished work out of mudingburra and I’m flooded out of my street. Have set up shop and parked in the domain central car park (being new to Townsville this was the safest spot I could think of being caught in the moment) is there a safer spot I should go to? Should I ditch the car and leg it? I’ve heard this weather will intensify and probably peak at the tail end of the weekend into Monday.
Any advice would be greatly be appreciated!
EDIT: made the walk! Thanks everyone for the advice.
Is there any place we can check to see which route/roads are safe at the moment and not flooded?
Has anyone got any updates on the closure of the A1 in Townsville. Me and my mate rented a camper up in cairns and the dude told us to get out of Townsville by Saturday. We’re in magnetic island at the moment and really don’t want to get fucking stuck here. The weathers pretty shit so do u think we need to leave today? Cheers👍

Just wondering lol
My bicycle is stolen today. Now I will have to catch the unreliable bus service to go to work. I know I wouldn’t get it back and report it to the police will result to nothing. I’m just sad and needed to rant. It was an old bike that I got from facebook marketplace. It’s also made me feel helpless because I instantly know that I wouldn’t get it back :(
Stumbled across a post someone has made and his “fan account” commented. My guess is that it’s TT himself.
I am looking for a specialist psoriasis clinic that knows this condition professionally and with care please. Thanks
I planned on starting at JCU in September. My degree recently switched to trimesters so it would mean starting in Tri 3. Has anyone else started mid year or later in the year? It seems like you miss out on the social aspect of starting with everyone else. Is it a bad move starting later in the year?
