Disclosure... I am not a Killers fan but I am a Jet fan. I also went with people that love them Jet and honestly had it being just Jet alone, I would have paid double the ticket price. I still don't know why, but for me it's Killer's monotonous voice and guitar. Every bloody song sounds the same. Same beat too. It's just nah nah nah...and more nah nah with the same tone all throughout. I am a boomer I admit, but yeah they just don't do it. Pink concert on the other had was out of this world! Hiya! First post here, I'm a huge fan of The Killers going to the concert tomorrow. It will be my first time going to the Stadium and I'm currently living Kirwan-side so walking isn't an option for me. Having weighed up my options I think the Lou Lister Park and Ride option seems like the best for me, but having never used it was just wondering what I should expect? The shuttle service starts at 5:30 — could anybody who has used this service for a similar scale event before advise me as to when I should arrive at the park if I want to get a spot? Is it chock-o-block to the point I need to be in at like 2 if I want to be able to park, or is there ample space for the average turnout? Also if anyone has any other suggestions or tips for my first TSV stadium experience, would greatly appreciate it!

A little about me, I’ve been gaming for two decades now in my 30s I enjoy most of my time on the PS5, jamming most nights throughout the week and sometimes through throughout the day as well, depending other commitments etc.

I really enjoy cooperative games ideally I’m looking for people playing the following, but in no way limited to:

• Diablo IV (Casual)
• Battlefield V
• No man’s sky
• The Division 2
• The Crew: Motorfest
• Medieval Dynasty (New co-op village builder)
• War Thunder / World of Warships

So as you can see, there’s a mix of Action/Rpg, Shooters, Racing and simulation. I do own a lot of games, but I wouldn’t say I’m a hard-core player, I just enjoy chilling out and having a laugh with other like-minded people. If your game is not on this list, please still hit me up because there’s a good chance I have it and it would be great to start something fun locally, any questions or suggestions hit me up guys have a great day!

I am considering moving to Townsville from the Hunter Valley into a more stable and better paying job, but I have primarily heard bad things about the city (from people have either never lived or even been there). Is anyone able to give some perspective on how it compares to the Hunter?

20F australian here and I'm thinking about getting into FIFO because I need the money and feel a bit lost with my career direction. I've been told FIFO could be a good option, either in WA or QLD. I'm considering starting as a utility worker and figuring out my next steps from there -whatever role inspires me. I'm physically fit (I hit the gym regularly), so the hard work doesn't worry me, but the idea of flying into a male-dominated environment does.

Will the guys on site look after me, or should I be concerned about fitting in?

Ok so after years of wishing we had Aldi here, we finally got one, and yet I've only been there once. I found my counter experience abysmal and slower than Coles, due to a technical fault, but I am sure it's all good there now? Do people still go there often? So, let's talk about Costco. Do you think it will ever open a store here, considering it's by membership only? I think it would do better than Aldi and really give our two bemoths a run for their money. It certainly would remove the scum feral shoppers that are trying to steal and products are at almost cost price. I say bring it please!

As a former resident and rate payer, I'm not pleased about this. I am drafting a letter to the Minister for local government to see what she says. I don't accept that he should be on full pay while basically suspended.

Went to Hot as Hell gig with a friend a couple of weeks ago at the Kirwan tavern. Was having a great night then went down hill very rapidly ended up up under a tree in a paddock with no idea how I got there and massive gaps in my memory.
