Does anyone else follow sundevil football players into the NFL? My favorite former player to follow is Ricky Pearsall, even though he transferred to Florida it’s still fun to watch him continue his career on the 49ers.
ASU has been able to win a lot of games this season due to Cam being able to dominate the run game, does this mean ASU is going to try and shift their offense to primarily a run game in the years to come, also what will ASU offense look like In the coming years when they lose Cam?

This is a friendly invitation to any ASU fans making the trip to Cincinnati to tailgate at The Den. The Den is a community of Bearcats fans and one of the bigger tailgate groups on campus. We are setup right on Sigma Sigma Commons and like to welcome visiting teams fans. We take care of the food, we have drinks, and live music. We just ask for a $5 donation per person. Again, all are welcome and I hope to meet some of y’all on Saturday! Go to TheDenUC.com to get more info and make the donation.
Vontaze Burfict was one of my favorite players in college and NFL. Probably my favorite highlight reel ever. Seemed to play the game with a natural fluidity and sixth sense that I've perhaps never seen in another player.
Anybody know where he landed after the pros?
I did a quick look for him and found this absolute gem from a Bengals fan:
Temp forecast for Cincinnati on Saturday are: High 70° - Low 45°,
clear skies and no rain in the forecast.
So still pretty nice football weather..
My younger sister went to Utah, so I know all too well how they’ve been bullying us for years in the Pac 12.
They’ve had everything we are starving for in Tempe: annual Top 10-20 preseason rankings, a coach who will get a statue one day, tons of national TV games over the years, 1-2 marquee wins a season, CFP hopes, etc. I moved here in 2015 & we had that for a couple weeks in the 2015 preseason, not at all since.
On Friday we beat the bully. And unlike the Herm era upsets, it didn’t feel like a fluke. We out-Utahed Utah. Our Heisman hopeful thoroughly outplayed theirs. Our defense won the turnover battle. We didn’t lose at the line of scrimmage.
When we went down 6-0, Sam Leavitt dragged his nuts on the field & engineered a clutch TD drive with 2 scramble conversions on 3rd downs. When Leavitt had to leave, Jeff Sims came in & finished off a TD drive. When Utah went ahead 16-13, we responded immediately with a monster Skattebo TD. When the defense was put in a brutal spot having to defend a short field, they came up huge to preserve the lead. And when we needed a knockout punch, Leavitt & Skattebo connected for a high-difficulty conversion & then Skattebo housed it. There were 4-5 moments in this game where the Herm Devils would’ve folded. These boys showed character & overcame adversity again.
And then we need to talk about Kenny Dillingham. This man bleeds Sun Devil maroon & gold. His coaching career started at Chaparral High & his college career started at ASU under Graham & Norvell. He saw the promise this program had under Graham & is determined to make us the new Utah of the Southwest. He’s a dynamic recruiter, has a pure love of football, & has a Mamba or Booker-like mentality & work ethic on always getting better.
If you’re a HS kid with offers & you watch that Dillingham postgame interview, why wouldn’t you want to play here? I wanted to run through a brick wall & I’m a guy in my 30s who never played tackle football. We’ve been down so long it’s feels weird to feel this good about being an ASU fan. But make no mistake, the sleeping giant in Tempe is waking up & we are getting close to being a program that expects 8+ wins every season.
On Friday, we put Utah’s era in the West as a playoff contender in a box. Let’s fucking go, the rest of the 2020s are ours for the taking!
