All things Tel Aviv related. Meetups are happening currently weekly (well, we had a flurry there) so possibly bi-monthly or something. PM someone! A sister subreddit to /r/Jerusalem.
Some useful websites in english and hebrew for tourists and/or locals who need some guidance:
Pro-TIP: We are not affiliated with r/Israel, a subreddit ran by anti-Israel trolls. They’re scared of any opinion that differs from theirs and abuse tools they don’t even understand how to use in an attempt to silence any pro-Israel and secular voices!

Hi Tel Aviv
I am fond of collecting postcards but I don’t have any from Tel Aviv.
Can someone send me one? Thank you :)
Everyone knows that the Israeli government 🇮🇱 supports Azerbaijan 🇦🇿, but what do Israeli people 🇮🇱👨👩👧👦 think about this alliance? The main reason was that Israel needed a new trading partner for oil after the 1979 Iranian Revolution 🇮🇷, plus both Azerbaijan and Israel had conflicts with Iran. If there was never a revolution in Iran 🟩🦁🟥, would the Israeli people support Azerbaijan?
Will be in town next week. Looking for a massage in my hotel. Thanks
Sorry for the dumb question but researching the housing costs in Tel Aviv (say vs Haifa or Modiin) from abroad, it seems like I am getting some wild ranges from Google.
Can you find a place in 6000-7000 range in Tel Aviv area? Not looking for anything luxury.
I thought the Ashkenazi Jews doing this were bad enough, (saying this as an Ashkenazi myself), but these mizrahi and Sephardic Jews doing this seem to be even worse. Like this mizrahi Jew who wrote this propaganda piece in vox: https://www.vox.com/world-politics/24122304/israel-hamas-war-gaza-palestine-arab-jews-mizrahi-solidarity
This is giving me major Stockholm syndrome/Jews for Hitleř vibes.
What do you guys think?
hey people! i've considered visiting israel between the days i mentioned above. is the date good to visit israel + would i be able to go swimming? and how safe it is currently? also i'm a german citizen with turkish background. would i be questioned at the airport? ( i mean, i'd expect to be asked a few questions, which would be ok but what i mean is like being questioned by the police around.)
Can’t seem to find any good recommendations, and the treifer the better 🤤
What do you think of Netanyahu’s response? Source: https://x.com/netanyahu/status/1882392668497756279?s=46
Hello guys. Can someone suggest me fencing club for adults near tel-aviv?
My cousin asked me for podcast recommendations after he stumbled upon Please share any Israeli cultural, or funny podcasts that you find entertaining. News he gets from apps + feeds, so need for those podcasts…
Hello!!
I'm looking for an apartment to sublet for 3 weeks around tel aviv for 3-4 people. I've joined several FB groups but to no luck yet. Hope any of you can recommend ways to look for places available during this period. Please help a fellow israeli 🥹
I just think this would be so helpful for me as an individual. And maybe for many others. I feel like it’s pretty crucial as it really defines whether you’re gonna have a quick coffee/bite - which can determine the nature of the meeting/ time spent there. Also adds to some smaller things like, whether you should pick your mess up yourself, how long you can hog a table, how much you’re gonna spend (which become obvious once you know the nature of the place but not beforehand. Just strange to me that you sort of have to get the vibe or know the place in advance. Not a big issue at all 😂 nor is it restricted to Tel Aviv, but I figured such a discussion in some r/cafes or r/bigcities would be weird and less local
If I were to spend one day in Tel Aviv, getting there around 11am and leaving towards Jerusalem before 7pm, is there any way I could leave my belongings and then shower somewhere very close to the beach so I could actually go swimming? I've been in Tel Aviv many times before, but I've never properly swam in the ocean because, even when I had a hotel, it was too far from the beach. I'm looking for the cheapest option possible. I'd also love tips on cheap restaurants and such. Thanks a lot.
I know it's not hugely popular in Israel, but if it's in any city in Israel I imagine it would be Tel Aviv. Just feeling out how those things are there. I imagine ice skating and hockey culture, which is already insanely expensive, is even more so there.
There is one thing about the deal that is driving me crazy and maybe anyone knows the answer: is there is mechanism to avoid Hamas killing the hostages before returning them? Because if we pay the same price for a living or a dead hostage, what is keeping them alive? For them is better to send bodies who won't talk. And they are monsters, they don't need insentives any way. Of course that the obvious solution would be a death penalty for all those ready to be free if Hamas returns a body instead of a living hostage. But anyway, can you help me clarify this issue? If there is a mechanism or what is the logic israel is using?
I obviously do not believe this is true and I believe the question may have been worded in a biased way or potentially misinterpreted. I’ve seen it circulating online a lot and I was wondering if anyone had the original survey to debunk it. Maybe it was referring to “forced sex” as a sexual kink?
Like sure, our summers are very hot, especially last summer, but the winters are very cold currently it’s 13 degrees in Tel Aviv. sure, it’s not as cold as England but still
