Hello
My name is Corey and I am a first year science release teacher and two of my classes are SDC. It came to my attention very quickly that my district expected me to teach science to SDC but with no guidance or resources other than the general education curriculum. I am trying to break the now decade long trend at my school of science release for special education being simply an extra recess period.
Simultaneously, I am also getting my masters in instructional design and my core project is to design a training related to a topic. I am choosing science and special education because I think it is relevant and I do believe there is a need. I am posting a needs assessment survey to confirm if there truly is a need and if so, what is that need specifically.
It would be greatly appreciated if I could utilize this community.
$400 of resources for $35, compiled by 40+ education creators working together. Actually, it’s not too good to be true. Right now, you can find my resources in some Ultimate ELA bundles alongside resources from other great education creators, and there are be specific bundles for middle and high school for a real steal, just in time for Back to School season.
Is this a shameless promotion? Absolutely, because the resources I’ve submitted are worth $20 alone, but the whole bundle of 100+ resources is only $35! I’m no math teacher, but I believe that works out at resources for less than $0.35 each…
We’re talking…
What’s inside each bundle? I’m so glad you asked; you’ll find resources like…
Take a look at the bundles you're interested in - you can find a full list of the resources included so you're not buying in the dark. Enjoy!
I hope this post doesn't go against the rules. I work for a small independent publishing house. We are putting the finishing touches on the new edition of our book "Life Skills Every 7-Year-Old Needs to Know".
We are distributing free digital copies to gather initial feedback. It would be great if you could read it and let me know what you think. Anyone interested in helping us can send me a message.

Hi Friends,
I want to make sure my students have exactly what they need to succeed, so I've created a project through DonorsChoose, the nonprofit classroom funding site for public school teachers.
Right now, any contribution you make to my project will be doubled by An Anonymous Supporter. This is an amazing opportunity for my students! Your donation will brighten my students' school year.
Here's my project:
To have your donation matched, just make a contribution on that page. (Donations will be doubled automatically, but only while funding lasts.)
Thank you for considering a gift to my class!

"NYSUT catastrophic medical insurance" refers to a type of insurance coverage offered by NYSUT (New York State United Teachers) for catastrophic or major medical expenses.
Catastrophic major medical insurance is a type of health insurance that provides coverage for severe and costly medical events. It typically has a high deductible, meaning that you would be responsible for a significant portion of your medical expenses before the insurance coverage kicks in. This type of insurance is designed to protect individuals from financial hardship in the event of a major medical event, such as a serious illness, accident, or hospitalization.
NYSUT, as a union representing teachers and other education professionals in New York State, may offer this type of insurance coverage to its members as part of their benefits package and other CSEA unions and affiliated unions.
Are your union members struggling to navigate the complex process of filing a catastrophic major medical (CMM) insurance claim? Have you had out-of-pocket medical expenses that you believe should be covered by your CMM policy, but aren’t sure how to go about getting reimbursed? You’re not alone! Many families with CMM insurance coverage don’t even submit claims because of the overwhelming and confusing process.
But we’re here to help!
With our expertise in CMM claims filing and our commitment to HIPAA compliance, we can help remove the burden from you by dealing directly with your CMM insurance company on your behalf. We understand how important it is to get the money you deserve from your policy, and we’re here to advocate for you and your family. So don’t hesitate - share your experience with CMM Advisors Corp and let us help you get the reimbursement you’re entitled to:
