Drinking from my grandmothers opal bone china set for the first time in my life! She purchased this set in 1960 while living in London. I brewed my favorite black tea with bergamot!
It’s the first ripe puerh to knock me down when it comes to cha qi, it’s very strong but not overwhelming. The dry leaf smell reminds me of a wet basement due to the traditional Hong Kong storage. The taste remind me of spices, liquorice, wood and herbs. It’s unlike any other tea I have tried before, but it’s very good. This tea makes me want to explore more traditional HK wetstored teas!
I love tea time
