I was at the Bastogne Barracks, and it looks like their restoring this tank. I was wondering what tank this would be?
The King tiger fires the 8.8cm KwK43 while the Tiger I fires the 8.8cm KwK 36, They both fire the same 88mm shell but both of them have a different variant of the KwK 36 and 43, whats the actual difference? Do they have different shells or is the barrel length any different?
The early British cruiser tanks of WWII have large overlapping road wheels. Pretty quickly we stopped using them on our tanks, excluding Tetrarch
But then Tiger has overlapping road wheels
Why did we decided against them, yet 5yrs later, after tank technology had come a long way, why did the Germans decided they were right for what was to be their new high-tech weapon?
Im having a debate about if the Leo 2 Series uses its hull ammo storage when its activly engaging combat and just wanted to know from you guys if thats the case or if its empty.
I know that is supposed to be filled when they are in a defensive (hull down) position, but it wouldnt make sense to me to also do that in agressive combat
With autoloaders, how does round selection work? Can you for example if you have a HE round loaded in and you fire it, will it load another HE round or are you able to pick the round? Or does it matter in the order they are put into an autoloader? Was wondering about this recently, thanks.
