I brought my 2008 Suzuki Forenza to the local mechanic today to get the transmission fluid flushed/replaced. As of the last month it's been acting weird. Not slipping but it's mainly had delayed shifts and rarely would kick when going in reverse. We got told 2 things about it.
A: The fluid was black at 130K miles (Yikes)
B: The transmission itself is a CVT (Bigger yikes)
Despite what is said online, it really does have a CVT transmission, and in hindsight it makes sense. When accelerating, while it feels like a standard automatic, it won't pause while shifting at all, it'll just keep going. I'm honestly not sure if all of them have CVTs or if this is uncommon for them, but it's the first time I'm seeing one have it so I figured I'd share this. I haven't owned the car for very long, but it seems it should have had the fluid flushed a long time ago...
Anyone know good jetting for a 06' kfx400 (suzuki frame, engine, just rebranded) uses drz400 engine. Its fully stock, i just want to know what would give a tiny boost for low end grunt.
Hi guys, recently have purchased a swift sport (2022) in the UK, was wondering if you know of any replacement displays that are maybe a higher quality/snappier that are available for the model? From what I've seen online I can only find trim replacements. Thanks!
Hey guys i have question, i have suzuki swift 2012 and when im driving mostly between 60 and 80kmh i feel like the steering wheel twitches as i hold it it does not move but feeling the twitch, is is some issue with steering wheels or down to wheels, or just tires going to bit uneven road? Thank you
I have a Suzuki Vitara ly for about a year now. I'm thinking of lifting it by mounting Eibach pro springs. According to the website, they can be mounted on the original dampers. Anyone who did this or similar?
I do not understand why Suzuki keep using such a underpowered engines for they big trucks like the grand vitara with only 100 hp and 130 nm, is almost the same engine power as the Suzuki jimny but much heavier.
Same case with the suzuky jimny 5 doors..
My S-Presso brake pads are wearing out very fast. I’ve had to change them twice in two years while driving approximately 10,000 miles per year. This seems a bit excessive to me. Has any one else had this issue with s-presso pads or Suzuki pads in general?
I quite like hoe this car drives, like a lot. And I feel it handles quite well as well. And i was wondering, would it be worth it to modify and give a little more power. And if so how would one even approach this?
So when scrolling through the options of the dash on my ZC31s swift sport I noticed there are a few options. Mainly Trip counter A, Trip counter B, the ooo as shown and then total mileage. What is does this ooo mean? When navigating to it after a few seconds of being on this thing it will automatically switch to total mileage again.
Hello everyone, I am looking for a hardtop roof for my vitara. It is really hard to find. Anyone has some experience with this? I would also like to ask if the first gen vitara has the same hardtop roof as the second gen. Thank you for the answers.
Hello Redditors, I need your help! I’m having trouble playing music on my Suzuki Vitara(2024). The car connects via Bluetooth, and I can make and receive calls just fine, but I can’t play any music. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
To those who have had or currently have them, how are they?
Do they handle well in Canadian winter, and how reliable are they?
What do you think?
How likely is it that it'll be sold in the US? Or that it can be imported into the US?
Sadly some donut has cracked my 2018 Swift's driver's side rear light, and it looks rather expensive to fix as they're the LED ones (~£360 for one light from new....)
However, there's a few from India available on ebay for under £100 such as this. Is this the same part? I'm aware Maruti Suzukis are built to a different spec to elsewhere, but this light looks interchangeable. Anyone done something similar and encountered any issues (besides waiting eons for delivery)?
Iam looking at the Suzuki S cross 2024, its a good looking car and the price looks good for what it offers, however i still have a couple questions iam yet to have answered and wish someone who owns one could answer them for me.
1- is it fuel effiecent ? How much does it do in the real world?
2- is it suitble for highway and is it stable at hugh speeds ? as i commute daily and have about 60-70 km drive to and from work
3- is spacious and comfortable to fit 4 adults (including the driver ) ?
