So a fun thing happened today, there's a rumour of a transfer between my two clubs! I've been a QPR fan since I randomly chose to play with them on FM in 2009, but I'm from Tromsø, Norway, and Tromsø is my main team.
One of our local newspapers reported today that our striker, Lasse Nordås (å pronounced like a in law), has attracted interest from QPR, and that they have viewed him live several times. Since I follow both teams I figured I'd share my observations about him and how I think he will fit in at QPR.
He is a left footed 22 year old (23 in February) striker who is pretty tall at 194 cm. He's quite pacy and strong, and is able to shrug off defenders. He's a decent header of the ball, but it's not the strongest part of his game, and definitely something he could learn to do a lot better given his height. His technique is pretty good, he's able to dribble past a defender or two, and his first touch isn't horrible either. His finishing with his left foot is usually really good, while his right foot isn't half bad, but he has a tendency to try to get the ball to his left foot when he has a shooting opportunity on his right, and more often than not fails at that.
Tromsø also plays in a similar fashion to QPR, so it wouldn't take him long to adapt to both the pressing and possesion play. He bagged 9 goals and 3 assists in 28 games (20 from start) in the league this season, and he should honestly have had at least 2-3 more. He's by no means the next Haaland, and he has a lot of improving to do, but I think he could work well for us given our striker situation.
One thing he needs to work on is his composure, and as mentioned his right footed finishing. He misses some clear chances, and puts away some that aren't close to being clear, so if he manages to become more consistent with the clear chances while keeping the ability to make magic happen, he'll be a great asset.
As for price, I think he'd cost between 1.5-2.5 million euro.
As an example of what he can do, here is his goal from our last game of the season: https://youtu.be/Hjz-33aP35I?t=243
Edit: And as an added bonus, here is a goal from our first game of the season: https://youtu.be/3Av_5z3Eq_s?t=504
I have no expectations, which is a relief.
Looking to come down for the game on the 21st vs PNE
I’ll be coming with my partner and was wondering where would be the best place to sit?
We would like to be near the loud home fans but not in any stands that the supporters stand in.
Thanks in advance.

So this happened in my football manager save. I'm in 2039, so a bit of patience and all will be well.
Looking for some advice regarding the QPR home top I want to get my auld man for Christmas.
He is a 4XL.
Should I get the 4XL or move a size up seeing as footy tops can be tighter
Thanks QPR fan from Aberdeen
Hello R's, I will be coming to London for the first time and I will be attending the game on the 11th of December.I considering booking a seat in Y block.Has anyone been there to tell me about the view? A photo will be amazing. Thank you
I just discovered a few moments ago that we can watch all the QPR matches if you have a subscription to Paramount +. You get this for free with a Walmart + subscription for 1 year. You can also find a free 1 month code from various websites online.
I guess we don't need to spend $250 USD for the QPR + pass since it's available (along with other Championship matches/Serie A/ Champions League/ Europa League, etc) on Paramount +
i bought my tickets online and when i received the confirmation email it didnt provide a qr code let alone what stand im sitting in everytime i hit resend email the same thing pops up. does anyone know how to fix this please id hate to miss out on this away day
