Only had a black denim vest instead of blue denim.
Hope you guys had fun Trick-or-Treating, or just staying at home and watching scary movies. These little shits got into my candy, though. 😔

Season 3 Hopper
Why did nobody care when Barbra’s body was found in the upside down?
Jim and Joyce found her body in the upside down near Will’s, yet they didn’t attempt to revive her the way they did with Will, they both were missing, Will was in fact missing prior to Barbra, they both looked dead and didn’t have a pulse.
Yet Will was worth the shot while Barbra wasn’t, nobody even cared about inspecting her body, attempt to revive her, or at least bring her body back for closure and burial, what is this?
I've seen this movie referenced as a ST influence mostly in terms of the practical effects, with the Blob being a similar enemy to the mind flayer. I just saw it for the first time and I feel like it's also the Nancy and Jonathan blueprint, particularly for their storyline across the first two seasons.
The preppy girl-next-door is traumatised by the loss of a friend, and she takes the investigation of the case into her own hands. She's initially set up to be with the all-star jock, but finds herself paired with the sensitive outcast who also witnessed the strange phenomenon. Together they uncover that the US government is behind it all - it's an experimental weapon against the Russians that's grown out of their control. Other similarities are the protective role she takes over her younger brother and his friend(s), and her shotgun-wielding during the final showdown.
It was a really fun, if cheesey, watch. The plot isn't exactly mind-blowing and the characters don't have the most depth, but it unfolded in a very satisfying way, and the gore was excellent. Great halloween pick imo
Like if you go to your room and grab a bunch of stuff in there and go back to the real world would you just have two of everything now?
Did anybody ever get the significance for the wristbands they made us wear for the experience ? I literally got jump scared by the staff at the London event when they put them on everyone, the staff member didn’t say anything and just pointed to my arm and put one on me and later came back with another colour. 🤷🏻♂️
What if these last 20 minutes were entirely dedicated to all the readings of the letters that Max wrote to everyone else? We know the content of the letter for Billy... if each letter has that average duration and they are all read consecutively, it could reach 20 minutes. Maybe the letters of Lucas, Dustin, Eleven, Mike have a similar duration to Billy’s letter, while those for the other characters, with whom he has a smaller relationship, are shorter. So yes, 20 minutes is a sensible time. And anyway the scene could start with the reading of the first letters more slowly and then gradually speed up the reading of the letters for the less important characters or they can take only the most meaningful sentences instead of reading everything in full. Obviously we will see the scene of them put in a circle crying and there is Max’s voice in the background reading the verses (not the real Max physically reading there... I think you understand, don’t you? It is typical in movies that we hear the voice of a person who has written a letter while the reader is reading it, even if the person who wrote it is not physically there we hear the voice of the person who wrote the letter who reads the content)
Imagine if they all get together to read them. But what pretext could push them to read? The most sensible thing would be to read them after her eventual death, but I have always been convinced that Max will survive because otherwise they would have already killed her in the end of st4. But now I have doubts again. Those letters must have meaning, not knowing eternally their contents would be a waste and a disappointment. And if it’s not in the end of Stranger Things 5, there won’t be any other chance to know what these letters say.
Obviously they will be full of exciting phrases about love and friendship and this made the cast cry, especially Noah and David. I absolutely don’t think Hopper will receive a letter from Max but I think David started crying because he read the script of the other people’s letters anyway and that made him cry. The fact that David cried doesn’t mean that automatically that certain thing is about Hopper’s character. If not in the finale of Stranger Things 5, I don’t see any other time to read these letters. Reading them at the beginning or in the middle of the season would not give the right atmosphere. Anyway, nothing will beat Hopper’s letter to Eleven from the third season.
I don’t take responsibility for any text errors, character pronoun errors etc. it’s the translator’s fault. Anyway the general theory should be understandable.
