Hello. Recently I've been going crazy over this particular great show. Due to that self proclaimed obsession, I want to dive into the concept of time. I'm looking for non fictional books which discuss this matter. No matter from which angle; might be a mathematic, physic or philosophical approach. Could anyone recommend me something, since "the Journey through time" is not a real book?
Hey! I just wanted to just share my remake of the book from the series :D
That is all. Would shop at a store that had period type clothes like this all the time. Costume design is fantastic.
I have started watching season 3, I am on episode 3. Previous seasons were amazing and I understood everything, and each character clearly. However, I am totally confused what's happening here. Two different worlds, two teams( previously, it was Claudia now I can't see her), what's the motive. The unknown who's on a killing spree as per old martha(Eva) order, I don't get it why is he killing everyone? Lol I am literally forcing myself to watch and understand at this point because I loved this series, I don't want to get disappointed. Someone please explain me in brief till s3 episode 4. So, that I can't watch further without any confusion and enjoy the series. š„²
i just rewatch the last episode and saw adult jonas vanishing and he probably thinks his plan was successful. Most of the the characters definitely have no idea of whats happening and just doin their part.
Maybe itās a stupid question butā¦ Heinrich Tannhauser has the pocket watch āfor Charlotteā in the 1800s and Charlotte is his dead wife, he says. So it seems like Charlotte was somehow in the past before everything but we never saw her going back in the past, only in the future. Is it just a case of Homonymy or did I miss something?
Anybody has a link or any info on the music being played in S3:E03 at 50:25? It was also used in S01.
So I understood most of the series in this first watch, but I'm still a bit confused on who works for who. On Adams team I'm sure of Magnus, franciska and I think Agnes ,on Eve's team I'm sure of Charlotte, Elizabeth and I think alt- Egon. But it seems like the rest switch between the two, I saw noah on both sides, with Adam most of the series but he and his younger self were with eve during her speech, also bartosz and some other guys. So who's for who.
I just finished the series, really good but I'm honestly just not happy again. Was really hoping for a happy ending with them, but as soon as Claudia started talking to Adam in the final episode I felt like I already knew what was happening, but I was still hoping I was wrong. Couldn't even watch the scenes after they vanished, I just stayed there hating everybody that wasn't them, it's just not fair.
This just popped into my head randomly as I was thinking about the family tree. I think itās interesting that we never find out more about Hannahās background, specifically her mother.
I know there are other characters where their parentage is kept from the audience (Helgeās father, Peterās mother, Inesās mother). Hannah feels different though being so closely related to Jonas.
When I first watched the series, I was waiting for the reveal of her mother and tried to predict who it might be. I was waiting for a major plot twist like Franziska or something, but it never came and Iāve always felt slightly disappointed by that.
Any theories as to why this might be? Sometimes I speculate about who the most likely mother from the existing family tree would be ā¦ thoughts on this too would be nice.
Why did Eva kill Jonas, but if Adult Jonas went through the same things why wasn't he killed?
Is it because Jonas tried to question Eva and others before him just didn't question why they were doing the things that they were?
Also since Jonas is now dead, doesnt that technically break the loop since there will be no Jonas to become Adam in the future.
Also it seems like Adult Jonas never knew anything about Eva's world as he was surprised to see martha alive in 1888, so why did that world choose to interact with Adam's in this particular time loop?
I will leave my opinion in the first comment
So iām a bit confused on something in the finale and I feel like iām forgetting something. I understand Jonas and Martha go to the origin world at the moment Tannhaus creates his machine which therefore creates their worlds.
What iām confused about is how Jonas/Martha/Claudia would know which moment this occurs at and therefore which moment Jonas and Martha should go into the cave. How would they know which day/time Tannhuas creates the machine in the origin world without ever going there previously? Did Claudia just assume itās the same time as the incident?
So I just started watching this show, heard amazing things about it thought I'd give it a try (lol I know I'm late to the party). ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT SO FAR! Am currently on S01E04, just wanted to ask what I should be looking out for? Any other stuff I should look into to get deeper into the story of Dark? No spoilers please! Thanks!
Itās hard to talk about this show without giving massive spoilers. Just check it out
I have watched the show thrice so far. But I could never really understand why Claudia became estranged from her father Egon. When she's a child, she is happy and attached to him but the adult Claudia stays away from him and speaks coldly to him. When he visits her in her office, she kind of shoo-es him away, asking to make an appointment instead. I agree that the Old-age Claudia goes back in time to apologise, but I cannot really understand why would the adult Claudia not like her own father. I never saw Egon mistreat her or be a bad father.
Thoughts?
Caddo Lake. Pretty good but I got about halfway through before it hit me this plot felt familiar. Anyone seen it?
I seen this and immediately thought it would be so dope if a Dark game was created. Even if this does not happen Iād be interested to see if they are collaborating on anything, which Iāll be following his socials closely. Does anyone have any more information around the purpose of this visit?
So I watched the first season about a month ago. I don't have time to completely rewatch it but there is something I can't remember even after watching some recap videos.. How does Ulrich find out/suspect Helge again?
Hi everyone! I'm a student working on an assignment where I need to create a survey for members of a fan community from a fictional world of my choice. I chose the Dark TV series because I believe its fans have valuable insights to share. I'd really appreciate your help in filling out this anonymous surveyāit'll take less than 12 minutes, depending on how detailed you'd like to be in your responses. Thanks so much for your time! Also, there are no direct spoilers in this survey. https://forms.gle/HmKsf2YkPjNtQ9LAA
I just finished dark, absolutely one of the most brilliant shows ive ever had the pleasure of watching, but i still had one question; what happens to the rest of the world? Im not asking about when everything ends, but in regards to the loop. With the families in winden, it makes logical sense, what with all the mind bending family trees and whatnot. However, for the other populations globally, id assume they dont travel back or anything of the sort, so i would assume their family trees etc are, well, normal, so do they just like fade out of existence or something, or does the future keep going past a certain point and is this time loop something local to the town of winden? (we do see french people in the future, so i assume not).
on ps5 specifically and doesnāt have to be
I just watched about like 35 minutes of the first episode of the first season but, it really does not give me the want to continue. Just the first scene with Hannah and Iām already kind of disgusted because that guy is cheating on his wife and Hannah is sleeping with another man even if her husband justā¦himself two months ago and I think that the main character got his girl stolen by his friend while he was grieving his dads death, I think if I understood it correctly. I mean, will the secrets all be some messed up things like this? I have a hard time watching the rest. Help
Iāve been watching the Season 4 final of Breaking Bad, when Apparat - Goodbye starts playing. IT TOOK ME SOO OFF-GUARD THAT I NEEDED TO PAUSE, ESCAPE THE {PIRATE STREAMING SERVICE} TAB AND CHECK OTHER WINDOWS TO SEE IF DARK IS PLAYING.
Oh darling both of the series are so good!šā¤ļø
Similar vibes, doesnāt have to have same themes but would be nice, if it doesnāt feel repetitive. Suggestions? Love mysteries
