Behique is the most oneiric of our perfumes. It is the sorcerer of this collection! A fragrance completely inspired by the shaman of the Taino Indiands tribes. A scent for a man who dominates the secrets of nature, is the perfume of experience and wisdom! Since its departure we perceive a work of art that is not made to please the majority, here we do not feel extremely pleasant sweet notes that make the whole something commercial, because from the first minutes the intoxicating note of Cannabis and sage very well mixed with rum and a touch of magnolia create the feeling of being in front of a serious, unique perfume, in front of a wizard who will open the positive paths of our life and leave an unforgettable memory.

Underrated gem by Tobacora - Salim bagh 1619

A variation of its predecessor, Salim attar, Salim Bagh 1619 takes a step back from the darkness and drama and instead elevates some of the sweeter aspects of the lovers' story. The setting is a walk in the garden of love. While still very prominent with rose, saffron and oud, the strength conveyed by the woods relaxes to allow the wearer to feel the sweetness of the gurjum balsam along with the introduction of a delightfully creamy vanilla. Unlike Salim attar, which is oil-based, Salim Bagh 1619 is an alcohol-based spray. The exquisite packaging features glittering elements. The cap refers to the shape of flowers, and the sides of the box are decorated with an authentic floral pattern that was transferred from the walls of the famous Shalimar Bagh.

Rasa translates from Sanskrit to English as “the taste” but it can also mean a deeply connected feeling place, the energy that flows through you or a quality of art. This perfume is a meditation on the spiritual connectedness of Rasa. I wound up composing a scent whose ingredients all grow together in Northern India, the same place where this aspect of spiritual connectedness originated. And yet all of the ingredients in this scent have very sacred and universal meanings that have transcended time, religion and culture. Oud is treasured in the Bhagavad Gita just as it is in the Old and New testaments. The lotus flower has symbolized purity and rebirth as far back as the first hieroglyphics. As we discover more and more that there are ancestral aspects to our sense of smell, I think there is something miraculous about smelling and connecting with these real ingredients that have meant so much to us and to those who came before us throughout human history. I hope it will help you to remember some of the wisdom that we have left behind.

Haxan is an ode to the ancient practices of sorcery, magic, alchemy and witchcraft. It is inspiredby Benjamin Christensen’s 1922 seminal film on this subject.The perfume uses over 100 ingredients that are traditionally represented in potions and elixirs associated with these practices. Created as a bespoke perfume for Rajesh Balkrishnan by Prin Lomros, Häxan is a dark witchy fougere style perfume which incorporates dark woody and aromatic elements on a mossy bed representative of the ambience of the smells of places where dark occult ceremonies were conducted.

The perfume uses three blends of natural lavender oil surrounded by woody resinous birch, cedar, fir, guaiac, cypriol, sandalwood, wormwood, styrax and pine needle. There are spicy and herbal notes of saffron, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, nutmeg, caraway, cinnamon, violet leaf, tobacco, mushroom, basil, marjoram, and vetiver. Also present are faint animalic notes of civet, leather, musk, castoreum, beeswax, seaweed and hyrax that finally lead to a mossy powdery bed of moss, patchouli, labdanum, jasmine, olibanum, opoponax, chamomile, and galbanum. Aranyakas is a term that refers to the philosophy behind ritual sacrifice of the ancient Indian sacred texts, the Vedas. Aranyakas describe and discuss rituals from various perspectives, but some include philosophical speculations. Aranyaka (āranyaka) literally means “produced, born, relating to a forest” or “belonging to the wilderness”. It is derived from the root Aranya, which means “forest, wilderness”. This perfume, created as a Bespoke Signature Perfume by Prin Lomros of PRYN PARFUM for Rajesh Balkrishnan, represents the essence of the vibes derived from both Indian forests and the Vedic texts. Containing a high percentage of natural plant extracts with woods, incense, earthy and animals accords, this bold, dense, and spiritually radiant Indian Vedic period vibe hitherto unseen in modern perfumery. The perfume evokes the natural forest vibe of the Vedic period (c. 1500 - c. 500 B.C.) where the ancient Hindu texts such as the Vedas and Upanishads as well as mythological treatises such as Ramayana and Mahabharata were written. LiTA is a timeless, contemporary perfume made in collaboration with lead singer of acclaimed band The Kooks, Luke Pritchard and his singer-songwriter wife Ellie Rose. Playing off the mood of their music, the fragrance that was created is a dark and smoky aroma with a classic feel and modern touch. LiTA’s genderless and settled composition opens with a majestic overture played around a thick blanket of boozy, rum-like scents, masterfully combined with warm and spicy patchouli and a generous white flower bouquet. With sparkling aldehyde notes, it introduces a plush jasmine and ylang ylang tune with an impression of a moist gardenia and suede before releasing a sweet and sour amber note with hints of woods revealing burnt notes of vanilla remixed with civet, musk and precious flowers. Maai by Bogue

Maai is a stunning accomplishment in modern perfumery as it marries the very best of old-school chypre glamour and bold animalics with a refined elegance and smoothness. It opens with a burst of incredibly mossy greenness, fused with roses, jasmine, and green tuberose, all sprinkled with a transparent veil of golden, glittering aldehydes. The plush bouquet is mesmerizing in its depth, and harkens back to a time before IFRA/EU regulations, but it's truly heart-stopping when combined with the animalic elements.

Musky, leathered, and skanky, they cast a mighty roar that transforms the delicate swirl of feminine florals into something more unisex with a masculine touch that will appeal to fans of the legendary Kouros or Muscs Koublai Khan.
