Please help a U of C student out with a survey--multiple choices only, <2mins to take.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm a graduate student at U of C, working on building a new app to help reduce food waste. The app aims to connect restaurants with surplus food with consumers willing to purchase it at a discounted price. Would really appreciate it if you could take 1min to fill out this survey. Feel free to comment with any additional suggestion too! Thank you so much!

What do you love most about the Southside and what do you wish was different for the future?

I am an architecture student designing for the future of the Chicago bungalow. My site is in the Southside (Champlain Street) and I don't know what it's like to live there so any information will help me greatly. Thanks!

Seeking a pub or tavern that meets several criteria

I would like to go to a bar similar to the bars I went to when I lived out of state. These are the criteria I would like it to meet:

It must:

  • be cheap
  • be, er, not "hip" or "cool" or whatever (I'm not single, so I'm not looking for someone to hit on me or to dance to loud shitty pop music)
  • be located on the South Side (it can also be in the South Suburbs)
  • have a dart board
  • not be full of racists (so no "blue lives matter" or blue line flags hanging on the wall or anything like that)

It would be nice (but doesn't absolutely need):

  • Boddington's on draft
  • pool table
  • Irish bar/tavern
  • includes a free parking lot

So far all I've been able to come up with is Barney Callaghan's on Western in Beverly
