I kept getting paired with like the same three people, and after utterly annihilating me the first time, they would just leave whenever they got paired with me. I almost have gold in very hard arcade, so I thought maybe I could hold my own…
Is there a way to get paired with people who haven’t dedicated their lives to fighting games? playing against the ai is starting to get dull…
I was reading up on my favorite SNK game, Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, which featured mostly a new cast with kids or students of the original cast, and its Wikipedia page notes that it had a "new fighting engine and new cast which appealed to both newcomers and returning players. Often compared with Capcom's acclaimed Street Fighter III due to the new cast and visuals, the game has frequently appeared in lists of SNK's best fighting games."
Why is it that for these other series, having a next-generation new cast proved to be a hit (so much so with Fatal Fury that many fans actually prefer they focus on the new timeline), but was seen as a fatal misstep for Soul Calibur? Could they have done things differently to make it beloved instead, or would most SC fans have disliked a new generation timeskip regardless?
Both were freehanded out of eva foam. Super happy with the results on both of them.
As long as SC follow up with the same procedure with new ways, I’m sold (and I need the “jiggly puff”)
As of June, there was no work being done on project soul but it was stated that the fire was not extinguished.
Games take years sometimes but if for some reason you got to pick (and had to go with a number, you can’t just say “however is needed”)
How long would you like it to take from development beginning to launch? Balance both hype and the length you need to make a good game
I honestly like Nightmare+Siegfried (SIEGMARE) version of Soul Calibur over Xianghua’s
Who will win out of the three?
(Cervantes in the background eating popcorn)
Remember kids, playing as Nightmare is the best solution (for THE GREATEST NIGHTMARE)
Also f*ck Lizardman on Ultra Hard Mode 🦎
I haven't painted with acrylic paint since I graduated from high school. For the past 7 years I've been painting digitally. Today I finished my first acrylic painting. I think I didn't do well painting Pyrrha, maybe I'll do a remake.
“Crayola-Yuga, show me the way” -Kilik (I guess)
As the old saying goes: The legend will never die
looking to buy soulcalibur vi deluxe edition on physical but prices seem to be quite expensive, was it only release in a specific region?
At least ą Patroklos not a crybaby and has Character Development 👌 (Yet the story doesn’t make sense)
“You should back down”-Kilik (SC5)
After 20 tries, and 30-40 minutes in Arcade (Ultra Hard Mode) I can finally let soul rest…..also Destin Battle can be a trip as well
Hwang’s design in SCVI be came a TRUE GLOW UP
Since we all know that Tekken and Soul Calibur take place in the same timeline, here's a thought. Inferno was borne from the blood and hatred of countless victims, right? Humor me. What if one of Soul Edge's first victims was one of Azazel's devils? Its blood and hatred would therefore be the seed from which Inferno eventually sprouted and grew, thus making him an offshoot of Azazel himself. This further plays into Azazel's possible point of origin being Egypt, which was a direct competitor to Mesopotamia--likely the basis for Algol's original kingdom--in ancient times, as well as Azazel's traditional role as essentially an archdemon of war.
