Just curious as to what everyone's favourite level/area design was! Or if you can't pick a specific place, what's your favourite thing about the style of every structure/area in this game! What's your top 3 for areas you wish they were able to expand on and make bigger. My 2 are probably: The Sky and Lake Floria
Heyo! I remember Gully (the insane child with the pineapple hair on Skyloft) having a line >!after the Skyloft trial but BEFORE the Sky Keep!< where Link supposedly asks him about the Triforce and he says something humorous, like "What's a 'try fours?'" I so distinctly remember this; it might not exist, but I'm pretty sure it does. I've tried looking for it in a text dump, but I can't remember it well enough to ctrl F it. Am I insane, or does this exist? If it does, can someone point me to it? I really don't feel like playing through almost all of Skyward Sword to find a single text bubble.
poor little thing 😢
poor little thing 😢
I'm already well over 3,000 words in, whoops :D
(It's a review/reflection on the archtecture of dungeons/envromental storytelling)
So I am working on getting the song of the hero stuff from the dragons right now and I got the Tadtones from Faron woods. But I went to lanaryu desert after and did the thing with the dude. Then I was like oh let me check out the eldin volcano one. I couldn’t figure it out and I saw there was a glitch on the wii version that would completely break the game. I’m playing the switch version. Am I screwed right now?
Long time not playing this game LOL
Recently, my right joystick on my switch broke and I can no longer click it in. Apparently this is fairly common as my brother’s has the same problem! But there’s an attack with the sword that calls for you to click the right joystick in (that little “click”) to thrust the sword forward. I was able to skip the log in the training room that required that, and I just received the Master (?) sword. But if the thrust move is required along the journey, I wanna replace my joycon sooner rather than later so I don’t have to wait in the story at all. I tried changing my controls so that thrust could be another button but could not figure out how to! :( but please let me know if it is a required move in the story
So I don't understand this boss rush thing. Is it like a specific option or do I just keep running through the bosses until I kill the 8th one and quit? Because I keep seeing stuff about an option to choose for said boss rush.. But I don't have it as one.
For extra info: Playing the Wii version off Dolphin and I have used some cheats to get here but it's really minor stuff like infinite stamina and items and whatnot. Nothing too game breaking like giving myself every item fresh off start. I just want the Hylian Shield.
I was playing ss normally, when suddenly, while I was hunting birds, Link's arm disappeared...
can someone help me??
(I already restarted the game and the arm still disappears)
Hi! So I am dowsing for gratitude crystals and I was wondering if the dowsing is targeting one crystal until I find it or is it targeting all of them at once?
I did,
Every game has one |
Dungeon elimination |
Boss elimination |
So what do you want next?
Area elimination |
Biome elimination |
Mini boss elimination |
Music elimination ( please no )
I might cry
After playing most all the zelda games I can’t seem to get over skyward sword, why is it so underrated? When it first came out on the Wii and playing it as a kid with your remote as the sword was peak. The demise fight was great along with the journey up to it, the loft wings, humor, relationships, i love it!! I’m on my second play through of TOTK currently, im just in love with these games all around
Like a few weeks ago I said the ending was ass but I just beat hero mode and the ending felt better for some reason but it's pretty good (I would rank the legend of groove 10/10)
I have always wanted to see how something like the ancient sea would look like if there was no sand, but the time shift stone is a bit limiting in that regard. I was wondering if such a code existed, I think it would be really cool
I used to watch my brother play skyward sword when I was younger, never got the chance to really play it myself tho. But in the 2nd fight with ghirahim when he moves his tounge next to link, I could swear he actually licked link in the ear and then link got a shiver and rubbed his ear W his shoulder. Is this some kind of Mandela effect? And am I the only one?
I played past the 2nd Silent Realm (and that stupid little simp robot can absolutely go f himself after THAT escort mission) and so far, Fi has been almost entirely useless aside, like... 2 times in dungeons and not even bossfights, which I mostly figured out by myself.
I mostly relied on guides when I REALLY had no idea on what to do and I just wanted to know: how much did you actually use Fi during your playthrough? Because honestly, her tips have never really been that useful to me.
The last battle gave me chills. When Demise summoned lightning. What a freaking badass battle. It’s rare that a game holds my attention for this long, with no breaks throughout the whole campaign, and looking forward to playing it each day.
I really hope they make another one like this game.
I haven’t played Windwaker or Twilight Princess yet. Do either of those hold up?
So I have attempted the final battle a few times… have bot been successful yet…but with each failure…having to time travel and then go to the sky to health up feels a bit annoying 😅😅😅 I found a work around with the save files…but have you had similar feelings or was it a smooth battle first attempt and finish for you all ?😅😅😅😅
I just beat the legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I beat it after I had beaten BotW and Skyward Sword. Now Twilight Princess was in my opinion, a far better game than skyward sword functionally. But I didn’t feel like I was a master of TP the way I had worked so hard to be good at SS. This is probably because all of my SS skills carried over to twilight Princess, so I didn’t spend nearly as much time mucking around in dungeons. TP felt easier as a game.
I beat every boss on my first or second try. Once I figured out the mechanic, it was very easy. I guess alot of SS bosses were kind of the same, except often I would die on a boss I’d beaten ten times. Because it wasn’t just gimmick, it was skill.
I played Skyward Sword for ten hours longer than Twilight Princess, even though TP is technically the longer of the two. I’m coming back for hero mode on Skyward Sword and I’m excited in a way TP just didn’t make me feel
It feels like SS is my mid boyfriend, he’s not very good, but he’s mine. Whereas Twilight Princess is the hot celebrity who I don’t have a connection to.
Essentially, I believe TP is a better game, but SS taught me how to play Zelda games so I have a deeper connection with it
Anyone else feel this way?
In Skyward Sword, Link must go to Eldin, Faron and Lanayru during his journey to forge the master sword. I just realized that Lanayru=Nayru, Eldin=Din, and Faron=Farore. 🤦
Im playing through the Switch HD version for the first time, just finished up the Ancient Cistern.
I’m guessing the devs accidentally swapped the drop chances of Ornamental Skulls and Golden Skulls? I don’t recall having this issue back on the original, but it’s been a long time since I’ve played it, so maybe I’m just not remembering it correctly.
Is it just a matter of farming Bokoblins for long enough, or is there a better method?
