In s03e04 of Sopranos, Dr. Melfie gets raped in a parking lot. There's a lot of plausible reasons why someone might choose to rape in a parking lot, but the motives of the perpetrator was never laid out in detail. Evidently this means that the writing in the Sopranos fucking sucks.
