Moving to Seattle this summer & starting to look for any jobs within the publishing industry. I have a degree in Translation & experience in editing. Curious if anyone knows of any good companies or places with similar job positions that could be a good starting point?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently in Seattle, WA, on a J-1 exchange visa, and I’m looking for a company willing to sponsor me for an EB-3 or H-1B visa. I’m an Industrial Designer with about one year of experience, mainly working in 3D modeling and concept design. However, I’m open to any other opportunities where my skills could be valuable.
If you know of any companies hiring or have any advice on where to look, I’d really appreciate it! Feel free to DM me or comment below.
Thanks in advance!
Ive pondered on applying to some of these positions… however… I am getting up there in age, and I am curious just how much of the time is spent in crawlspaces, attics, and on ladders??
Can anyone here attest to the type of workload that happens on average?
Thanks in advance

Hi Hello ~ My wife has recently graduated with a certificate in SQL, where she created projects over 8 months in MYSQL & SSRS. We are moving to Seattle for company relocation, but she is struggling to get any hits on a job in the area.
She has updated her Resume to reflect her new Cert + her background in tech as a Product Specialist.
Are their any recommendations on platforms, companies that we can look at to find her a new role?
Thanks for any insight!
If someone was moving to Seattle, Washington and has lots of jewelry making and art experience are there any places you would recommend them applying? I’m currently working somewhere where I make jewelry for customers and sell jewelry supplies. I’m also very interested in library and museum work. Thanks so much! -Ash
Our established family law firm is opening a new location in Seattle and is looking to hire an intake specialist based in the State of Washington.
This is a fully remote role, meaning you will be working from home (with the option to come into our Seattle office if you'd like) - but it does require full-time residency in WA (or CA).
This role is in our sales department but is not a sales job (it's sales operations) and you will not be selling anything. This role will process incoming calls from potential clients and make sure they are handled compassionately, and information is captured and processed in accordance with our procedures.
There is training for this role - you do not need a legal background or experience. Retail sales / customer service experience - in a service role, will be useful.
2-5 years of experience.
Compensation Range: $23.50 - $27.00 per hour
This role will report to our Sales Manager.
Hello everyone,
I have the following experiences:
I’m looking for roles similar to Automation Systems Engineer.
I know the job market in Seattle is not great right now; but if you are hiring, please let me know by DM or comment. Thank you :)
We are opening up a pop up shop in Lynwood Alderwood Mall, and need to hire 2-3 sales associates.
The business will be selling women accessories and wearable/clip-on nails.
It will be just December for now since we are testing but we may sign a long term contract with the mall if the holiday sales is good.
Compensation will be daily base salary + sales commission.
If you are interested, please DM or reach out to NovemberNailsWA@gmail.com and introduce yourself, share your related experience and contact info. Thanks!
Hi! I am 25F living in Seattle. I have been working in restaurants for four years and am very very burnt out of the restaurant scene. I love customer service but I don’t find myself wanting to work in the same industry anymore.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and wondering what jobs can align to my credentials. I would LOVE to dive in to Science or Tech but entry-level jobs don’t look inviting for someone who doesn’t have work experience in those fields like me.
I would appreciate ANY suggestions.
xx
Hey, folks, I am planning (or at least attempt to) move to Seattle the coming months to attend an university to earn my second bachelors and a masters degree. Does anyone know of any programs/jobs/paid internships that are available for folks who have been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD that are not Microsoft related? Feel iffy about applying to Microsoft and I would like to have a good job opportunity before I move
I’ve dreamed of living in Seattle for years and, due to current events, it’s time to actually do it.
I’m in search of a job and to get out there as soon as possible.
Does anyone know of anywhere hiring?
I am currently a Customer Support Manager for a bank’s call center. I have experience with customer support, virtual assisting, administrative assisting, and scheduling.
I’m a quick learner, motivated, have strong customer service skills, and am a dedicated leader.
I prefer remote work, but I’m open to on-site or hybrid jobs as well.
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone. I have been looking for work over the past few days. I am strong, intelligent, hardworking, and quick to learn. It doesn’t matter what kind of job it is, I can and am willing to do anything. I don’t have an SSN, so I’m looking for a job that pays cash daily or where I can use my father’s. I speak both Spanish and English, have no issues with mobility, I’m not shy, and I can work alone or as part of a team.
I have been desperately looking for work for months now and it's starting to get scary. Does anyone know of any receptionist or office clerk positions?
Hi all, I am wondering if anyone may have some tips on finding Help Desk positions in Greater Seattle. I have been searching since June when I graduated college, and while I am doing multiple rounds of interviews for jobs I am more than qualified for I keep getting passed over for other candidates, and the hiring managers won’t tell me why.
I have an Associates, a Bachelors, 6 Comptia IT certifications, and almost 5 years of collective professional IT experience.
I am at a loss for why I have been unable to get a single job offer yet and would welcome any suggestions from those more experienced finding these jobs in the Greater Seattle region. Thanks,
Hey y'all, the company I used to work for is hiring and they are hoping to get someone in the next few weeks. I put the linked in post here. Its a full time position and the work environment is pretty relaxed compared to a lot of biotech places and most of the staff that was there when I worked there are still around, great people. https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4048141236
