Anyone know if the crankshaft from a 1985 Honda aero 50 is interchangeable with the 1987 model?

I bought a second hand Piaggio Medley at a Piaggio dealer at around 700km. At this point they had already given the scooter the 1000km service and they told me that the next service would have to be at 5000KM. This could be done at there garage or any other recognized Piaggio dealer. My scooter is now at around 4100KM, and I was reading the medley manual, and nothing is said about a 5000km service. They state that a 1000km, then a 10000km and then 20000km etc. What do you guys think I should do? Stick to the 5k or wait for 10k? Thanks

Hi guys, I was hoping you could help me identify what this is. I slipped on ice and came off my scooter and aside from a few scuffs this only thing I’ve noticed is this has fallen off of something. I think it’s attached onto the break wire and to me it looks like some kind of plug but I can’t figure out what it is or whether it’s a serious thing that needs to be reattached somewhere? My scooter is a Sinnis Shuttle 125 and I’d appreciate any help! Thank you!

I personally use diesel oil on my scooter. A lot of my friends are in heavy disbelief as they think that its a death sentence for my gy6. It runs fine, the API rating exceeds the required in my manual, and the weight specified is what's specified.

Any oil is fine as long as it meets the rating of oil specified in your manual.

Edit: Change your oil regularly and use the specified weight.

Hello, I'm going to rebuild my Gilera Stalker 50's top end. It's an Piaggio hiper 2 engine. What should I do before and after installing the new cylinder and piston? What oil should I use, how much extra to add during the break in How much do I need to break in.. etc... I'm asking this as I've had a soft seize before and I'm scared to reproduce this. Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance!

I was changing the oil on my own for the second time. The spout I was using slipped and got oil everywhere. Hurray! I cleaned up the battery, compartment, terminals, etc with shop towels. Am I good to ride after cleaning up like this or should I take precautions?

Does anyone have tips for a good site to buy original spareparts for a Honda SH125i 2015 in EU?

I'm posting this for anyone that may be thinking about increasing their top speed for their scooter. I tried looking in this subreddit but didn't find anything helpful. I even made a post looking for successful stories and/or just experience with doing such. Only got met by those giving one of the obvious options I was already well aware of (just get a scooter with a bigger engine dude duh). Ended up just deleting that post as I was not interested in opinions "man it's not worth upgrading...."

That wasn't helpful as I'm not looking to drop $4k+ right now. Thankfully there was a Honda PCX Forum that existed where someone mentioned successfully gaining 10mph top speed with no detriment to their acceleration. I followed their route and I can report success as well!!!

So for the future if someone finds themselves looking into this here's what I purchased to get from 65 Top Speed (Limiter Kicking In) to 73 Top Speed (only tested once so far, will do more test, Limiter did not kick in) and NO detriment to acceleration:

Dr. Pulley 13g (20x15) Sliders (For PCX)
TORQUE CONTROL VARIATOR V.2016 (PCX125/150 CLICK125i/VARIO TECHNO125)
GATES POWERLINK HD V-BELT (PCX125 (NO LED) / CLICK125 (NO LED) / PCX150 LED)

Hello, I need help. After riding my scooter for a while, i've noticed vibrations from my CVT, when i checked it my flyballs are griding against the variator, do you guys know what might the reason is? i owned my scooter for 8 months now. much appreciated for the answers!
