I ran the crab without the diaphragm and it felt faster some how, and I ran it for about 2 hours like that and it felt really good how is this working?

I've got an Derbi Atlantis Bullet 2tact from 2006 (45km/u). The scooter is taking very long to start. I've tried using another carburateur, and it started fine, but with the new one it couldn't drive faster then 20 km/u (It was an carburator from AliExpress). Now with the old original carburator (17.5 mm PHVA DELLORTO) it is taking around 20-30 seconds of electric starting (or kickstarting) before the scooter starts running. The first 50 meters driving it is making a weird noise and not going so fast with full throttle, after that it runs fine and it goes around 50 km/u.

Who can help me with this problem on my carburator? What can I try?

I have a Honda Dio AF27, open air filter, malossi 70cc, no name 19mm carb with either a 82 or 85 size main jet, and a Laser X pro exhaust. Am i on the right size jet? What do you guys recommend?

Gonna change Gear oil on my 4T 50cc (Sym Fiddle 2)

According to manual, it needs 100 - 110 c.c oil after drained. All good, however i dont have ANY way at all of getting the oil in the engine EXCEPT for using the oil tube to fill directly in the motor. This way i wont be able to measure the oil going in the engine..

However: I heard rumors you can fill it up until it leaks out the filling hole! My 50cc sym doesnt have a middle screw that indicates when its enough oil, like Maxi scooters does!

But i just need to know if i can, in fact, fill it up until it leaks out the top screw hole?

Red is filling screw, Blue is drain. No middle screw

Hi, after reviewing this sub, and searching YouTube, I cannot find the correct steps to remove the front brake caliper. Does anyone know which are the correct mounting screws that will release the caliper from the disc so I can clean or replace the pads?

Hi, my vespa 50cc sprint from 2018 has a problem with the rear light. It is working when braking but the fix light does not work anymore. I want to change it myself but I can’t find what kind of bulb I need to buy. Can anybody help me pls🙏🏻?

• Right now im on the budget side, but ive stumbled upon this nice looking boots for riding. I was thinking of getting an armored ones for my safety for the top reason, also they look very nice in my opinion. I wanted somethin secured and protected incase of crash especially my leg and foot. So is this one valid using it for riding my adv 150? Or should i pick somethin else like tcx zeta? Tcx rush? Or a classic riding leather boots?

I've thought about getting a scooter for a long time, but I'm visiting Thailand and have fallen in love with the Honda Scoopy. I know the Metropolitan sold in the US in the 00s was the same model, but it looks like the current Metropolitan is a different model (Giorno maybe?).

The Scoopy has such a fun design and I've seen some really cool colors and setups here. Is there a model in the US closer to the Scoopy? Is it at all possible to find the Metropolitan models that are the same as the Scoopy?

DMV's site says you "must carry a government-issued photo ID that does not have to be a driver's license", so would a foreign passport work? Thanks

I wonder whether iphone cameras spoil on scooters when mounted on the handlebars since scooter engines are further away from the handlebar hence lesser vibration?

Hello, I recently decided to get a scooter and bought a 2008 People 50 2 stroke. Or it could be a 2005. The engine has been replaced with a 70 cc and the bike has been sitting for a long time.

I got it home and replaced the battery, changed the oil, cleaned the carburetor and replaced one fuel line. With a little bit of effort it started up. Then, died. I checked the spark plug and it was not sparking, neither did the new one I replaced it with.

I then started to look at the CDI, which appears fine but I do not know how to see if is having issues. I just got a new ignition coil in and replaced that. The spark plug now sparks. First try it started up strong. It ran on idle for about 30 seconds and died. Now, it won’t restart at all. I took apart all the wiring components and cleaned them but that assisted in nothing helpful. Battery turns on the electronics. When the ignition is turned the starter works. Does anyone have any idea what I am missing? Any help is appreciated
