It’s so bad that I have to mute it. Sometimes I switch streaming services because of it. It’s 3 back to back most of the time and always at least 1. They only have 3 extremely long versions of commercial so it’s just the same loop. Over. And over. And over. Every 10 minutes or so.
It’s so bad that I went from not even knowing they existed to hating American Riviera with a passion. I will never bank with them on principle now because of the torture they make me endure. Am I the only one being subjected to this??
We recently moved to a new placed. Already have the Christmas lights, but don’t have a ladder or the time to hang them. Anyone have a guy?
Looking for any places with takoyaki - specifically if it’s anything like Jinya serves. For my kid’s birthday. Thanks!
Anybody else have a woman wearing multi-colored glasses (the frames) - driving a white Mercedes SUV go at them today if they supported the protestors outside the main firestation?- She was driving a White Mercedez Benz suv. pretty sure it was an MLK.
After giving a thumbs up for the anti-war no more support to Israel people in front of the firehouse, she loses her mind and swerves in front of me and tries to drive me off the road near Funston.
After swerving at me and giving me the finger, she accelerates around me, gets in front of me and slows down to about 25 on Broad St. smiling in her rear view and just looking at me.. drivers are passing on the left at this point.
She was last seen dangerously cutting into the left turn lane at Capitolio with her arm out the window after flipping me off, probably turning around to try and go harass more people who just showed support for the protestors. Surely someone else had a run-in with this person?
I am desperately looking for tickets for today! (11/30) Does anyone know if they add on more tickets on eventbrite despite being sold out?!
I’d like to find someone in slo but am willing to travel. She is easy to work with. Looking for suggestions and I’m even open to tomorrow. If not weekends work. Thank you.
I’m in Atascadero and I’ve seen some signs for more local privately owned farms as opposed to Home Depot or Lowe’s. Wondering if anyone has an idea on where to get a good deal for a tree. 🎄
I'm thinking of trying out a veggie box delivery service like imperfect foods or Talley farms. Anyone have experience/recommendations? I'm looking for one that is 1) affordable 2) sourced locally and 3) has relatively mainstream veggies. I have little kids who aren't very adventurous.
TIA
When my son was younger he had a few bands he put together, and he had all sorts of stage performance things like lots of cables, stands (music, keyboard, others I don't know what they are), pedals, and just odds and ends. That was 15-20 years ago and now he no longer needs them and I want to get them out of my garage.
I don't want to just put this on Craigslist and give them to someone who will go resell the stuff. I'd like to give it to a band who could use it or maybe a music school. If anyone could use this stuff themselves and not just grab it all to resell, please let me know. Or if anyone has any suggestions where to donate it, please let me know.
It's not like it's a treasure box of valuable things, but there is some decent stuff. I know he always bought good quality.
Election fatigue? Holiday stress? Black Friday mania? Seasonal depression? Sleep schedule screwed up by the time change? Do you want to send November off with a primal scream? Then join us this Saturday, November 30th, at Humdinger Brewing in SLO for an end-of-month blowoff show!
This event will feature live sets by Mechanical Ghost (Electro-Industrial / EBM / Powernoise), Spent Grain (Punk Rock), Bandwidth (Experimental Hardcore), Plus Minus (One-Man Polarity), and Wormreaper (Improvisational Psychedelic Funeral Doom), as well as performances by members of Cal Poly Drag Club.
We know you're trying to save money for the holiday season, so we are giving this show away ABSOLUTELY FREE! All you have to do is show up and rage with us. All ages are welcome. (Guests under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.) Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00.
Let's tell November not to let the door hit it in the butt on its way out
Throwaway Account-
I am an early-twenties resident of SLO who recently moved here for work and I am trying to pick up some hobbies in the area. I was wondering if there are adult recreation sports leagues in SLO and how to join. I would drive to AG or Pismo if necessary. I'm open to all kinds of sports. Thank you in advance!
Is there anyone that has no plans for thanksgiving that might wanna do something? Just lmk!
We are considering a move to the area, and I’m curious what young people who live in Arroyo Grande like to do and where they typically hang out. Is it in the local village, shopping centers, or they hang out further away like in SLO?
I’m asking because when I was a middle schooler + high schooler, I was a 15 min drive away from my high school’s town (in San Diego), and I always felt like an outcast because of this. It was a beautiful little suburban residential area that we lived in, but so isolated from all the fun and activities. Plus it was a pain for my parents to have to drive me any time I wanted to do something with friends, go to sports practices, or do anything at all.
As we are looking at housing, I would love to prioritize areas that will be super accessible for my kids as they grow up, where they can easily meet up with friends from the local high school, AGHS, simply by walking or biking. The less driving us parents have to do, the better. Thank you!
No real preference on the type of food- just trying to find out if there will be any options out there for dinner.
Just discovered this stuff. I think it's pretty good!

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any bars doing events tonight? I was hoping to get out of the house!
Hello! I’ve recently started working in gorgeous downtown SLO and am looking for a brow artist and nail artist! I’ve never had this service done before (brows) so I figured I’d reach out and see if anyone had any recommendations! Thank you!
Why do some take issue?
If so, where are the details?
Hey!
I'm currently living in MN but my husband's job may relocate us to SLO. My passion is dog sports and I'm wondering what is around the area. It's more than just a hobby, I am an addict 🤣 so it's important to me to know if I can find stuff to keep happy! Dog people, you'll understand. Where ya at??
Flyball mostly, ASFA lure (or other venues are great), barn hunt, conformation, weight pull, nose work, etc etc. Flyball is a pretty big decision maker for me... any insight??? I found some stuff just on Google but it wasn't much help. No one seems to know what flyball is 🤦♀️Looking to chat with real people.
Thanks!
Been hosting some mixers in north county and discovered a small community.
Would love to see more of you!
Hi there! My fiance and I love the Central Coast/SLO area and are highly considering getting married there. We're interested in a micro wedding with just our immediate family (~20 people). Our budget is on the lower end as we would like to invest more funds into an unforgettable honeymoon but we still want to make it an enjoyable time for our guests. I would love venue suggestions, please :) Also, any thoughts on setting up a semi-impromptu ceremony near Morro Rock Beach? Thank you in advance!
Is there anywhere in our county where we can actually hike off-leash with our dogs, in actual wilderness with streams etc?
I know about dog beach and dog parks but my dogs are a large breed that need to run and explore and do nose work and we need to work on recall.
Thanks!
