I have an aluminum canoe and it needs one rivet replaced. I can do it myself but I would have to buy a bunch of stuff that I’ll probably only use once. I’d rather pay someone to do it for me.

Has anyone processed a UH claim through Sierra Vista? My OB only delivers at SV and is an in-network provider with UH but SV is not listed as an in network hospital. I’ve not heard of the network mismatch between doctors and the hospitals that they are associated with especially with OBGN’s and delivering a baby.

I'm sure the manager isn't in a good place right now, but we have valuable equipment that belongs to a club that isn't affiliated with the restaurant, and we have no way to access it. Repeated tries to contact him have gone unanswered. What would our recourse be?

Looks like the same lady leading the charge against water rates is getting a needs-based reduced water rate herself, while having multiple income streams from published books, air bnbs, and her own real estate firm.

To qualify for the reduced water rate from the city, you have to demonstrate enrollment in PG&E’s reduced rate program. If she paid $36k in TOT alone last year, and PG&E says you can’t make more than $40k a year to qualify for their program, how did she manage to get on the City’s roster of water rate beneficiaries? Seems like that would be an easy thing to prevent. Granted, I think most people reviewing applications for the reduced water rate program would not think to themselves “let me cross reference this address with our permitted short term rentals.”

I have the advantage of working remotely, and I've been considering SLO as an option lately. Is it hopeless as a single guy to meet someone there? With any college town, I worry about the age gap between students and the full time population. When I lived in Flagstaff, AZ there weren't a ton of people my age making things happen. Hello SLO! Years ago I inherented my grandma's Department 56 Christmas Village.

20-30 houses plus the people, sleigh, horses and cart and even a mountain.

I do not have the space to enjoy it at home, and thinking about renting it out (I would set up and break down).
